Whenever I have had issues come up with availability, she has been understanding and accommodating. I cannot recommend her highly enough and would encourage you to reach out to her for an incredible massage experience.

This is an older office building on busy North Ave., but Bobbie keeps her space clean and cozy so it works out for me just fine. I don't consistently get massages due to my work schedule and family obligations, but Bobbie is one of the best I have had! Her approaches are intuitive when it comes to problem areas. Her hot stone massages are fantastic, even for hot summer months. She also does facials and I did enjoy the vitamin C facial when I booked for the massage+facial combo in the past. Bobbie is also super friendly and personable. In addition, her prices are affordable for the quality of service I get. Good thing is that I don't live awfully too far and I get her availability emails and occasionally she has promotions and specials. With that said, booking on her website has never been a problem. I definitely recommend Bobbie and treat yourself for some relaxation in the city. You can thank me later.

I had a rather disappointing and distasteful experience following my initial review that is worth…read moresharing as a cautionary tale to others. I visited and after having a pleasant first experience, I received an offer to purchase a package. I did so. With one remaining, I received a message asking me to book the last one soon. Options were limited so I selected what was available. A day or so later, I had death in the family so I canceled. The appointment was canceled four days in advance. I received a reply asking me if a week later at the same time would work. I indicated it wouldn't and that I'd contact her at a later time to reschedule. Agnes replied with. "Make sure you schedule asap. I'll get busy during the holiday season and will not be accepting the package next year". When it was purchased, an expiration was not mentioned or provided at any time. Upon hearing this, I pointed out that no timeframe was given and it appeared to be offered as a way to retain new clients. I also explained that this arbitrary decision was self serving and sent at a very difficult time for me. I went to explain I was dealing with death in the family and asked Agnes to put me down for ANY time between Dec 26-31 and I'd be there. Or, given the exchange. I offered to have her refund me via the method used (Zelle). To be clear, Agnes did NOT schedule me as requested and she did NOT return the money. In response to the comment below:: I told her I couldn't talk much more due to grief and she continued to send long paragraphs as if it was a lovers quarrel. I reminded her of her repeated pleas for "good" reviews and stated that this misleading and self serving practice is something others should be aware of. It's how others make informed decisions. I waited to see if she'd do the right thing and she didn't. ... I contacted her with my Zelle info on 5/21/2024.

Though she was booked all day and was traveling the next day, she still let me come by during her only free hour since I was so sore post-race. The massage work is terrific. Tamara is very strong, but more importantly is also very skilled and is able to locate the knotted areas that need the most work. She's also very knowledgeable; I had initially asked for a deep tissue massage, but she explained that was too intense for one day after the race and did a mix of Swedish and deep tissue work. I was amazed by how much better my body felt the next day. The pricing is competitive, especially for such a good quality massage. Tamara is also flexible and allowed me to use Chase QuickPay, which was very convenient. I would most definitely recommend her and I will definitely be going back!

Her deep tissue massage therapy work is among the best I've ever experienced. I know she can do the relaxing, Swedish type massage therapy also--but if you really need some serious body maintenance work done, Tamara can get it done. She was able to bring her table to my house, which was convenient. I think she'll come to Elmhurst locations with no additional fee--farther drives may have a fee. Pricing is competitive.
