Finding a truly exceptional massage therapist is rarer than it should be. Curlie at Zenful Touch is…read morethe real thing. He's a massage therapist and a nurse -- a rare combination that means his understanding of the body goes well beyond technique. Add a natural gift for healing and a veteran's deep attunement to people's needs, and his range speaks for itself: clinical, therapeutic, or pure relaxation -- he can meet you exactly where you are. The space is cozy, clean, and welcoming. Easy parking too. He does a real assessment before starting -- asks the right questions and actually uses the answers. From there it's seamless. Having experienced plenty of massage therapy over the years, the precision and level of relief here is in a different league. He finds the exact spots, dials in the pressure, and works through everything you came in with without missing a beat. I stood up differently when it was over. Slept better that night. Signed up for a monthly membership on my first visit and haven't looked back. The membership includes back treatment, foot exfoliation, and hot stone -- all built in as a perk. If you haven't found a therapist who actually gets it, this is the one.

I am sitting here happily opening my jaw fully and without pain for the first time in 3 weeks. After one sports-type massage session plus tonight's session of craniosacral and manual therapy to my head, neck and jaw. Holy cats. I wish I had found this practice sooner and I will definitely be back. Here's my review: The calm and welcoming reception and treatment spaces are located in Rick's tidy lower level business space (totally separate from his home) in a safe and lovely neighborhood in SW Oak Park. Free street parking. Easy online appointment booking. Evening and Saturday hours, too. A great value. Highly recommend! I found Massage Therapy of Oak Park through a gift certificate that Rick had donated to a local children's charity fundraiser. I was the lucky highest bidder! What a great prize! Thank you Rick.

I immediately went on Yelp to book a massage, but for most places in the area, you had to call in to schedule an appointment. I found Empyrean and the online booking system was so easy! The new client price was very affordable, and after a few clicks, I booked a chair massage for Monday. I had never gotten a chair massage before, but it was exactly what I needed. William focused on the area around my neck and I felt so much better afterwards. The pressure was perfect, and he was so calm and friendly. I am looking forward to booking another massage soon!

He was sweet and easy-going on the phone and in person. And so very respectful and professional! No worries with this guy. He doesn't peek, and keeps all the private parts well concealed under sheets throughout. But most importantly he is great at what he does and he truly cares about his clients. If you NEED a massage like I often do, he's the guy to call. He does deep tissue massage and reflexology. His fingers will find your problem spots and dig right in. And it feels oh so good! I have used his services several times now and I have found myself getting so relaxed that I drool and drift into sleep. My back problems have considerably improved after every massage. I have trouble with my shoulder area from sitting at a computer all day. I emerge flexible and pain free! He only charges $60 an hour! For house calls! And I don't know how it works for others, but he's stayed a little longer than an hour when I really needed the work done and then refused to take any more that the hour fee! I of course made him take a large tip... Skilled, modest, respectful... in short, my favorite massage therapist. For a safe, professional, serene massage experience in the privacy of your own home or office, I would not hesitate to call Angel Hands.

I have scoliosis and get a lot of knots on my shoulder and back. I have gotten many massages before, and TJ is one of the best masseuses I have ever had. Before our session, TJ listened to all my concerns and really worked on my problem areas. He kept asking me if I felt comfortable and if the pressure was okay which is something you do not get a lot of with other places. In addition to the massage, he gave me tips on how to help stretch my body. He also warned me that I would feel extremely sore because of all the knots we released. LET ME TELL YOU I WAS IN BED ALL DAY THE NEXT DAY, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST FEELINGS EVER! He also followed up with me to make sure if I was okay. Thank you TJ for such an amazing experience.
