Very snobby and unwelcoming owners. Class instructors vary. Unwilling to understand clients needs.

Not a place where people come to show off--not their spendy yoga swag nor their fancy yoga moves. Very down-to-earth. The style of yoga taught here is largely of the vinyasa style--steady and flowing, but not as rushed as a power yoga class. Not as heated, either. I'd guess that the room temperature is kept somewhere in the low 80s. Comfortable and warming, but you don't feel like you need IV fluids afterward. Classes here incorporate music into the flow--which I really enjoy. Helps get me out of my head and adds to the experience. The instructors are proficient and friendly and creative. I particularly like Susan--but these days she only teaches an early (for me) morning class on Sundays. I'd love to get out to this place more, but (a) it's a small (albeit scenic) trek out to Concord and (b) it's a weebit expensive, in my opinion ($17 for a drop-in; $16 if you buy a 10 class pass--the part about no expiry is nice! The unlimited 3-month package is tres, tres expensive at $525). Minor gripes, yes. In all, a great place to get a yoga workout for the body and the soul. A hidden gem . . .

When she passed unexpectedly my whole world flipped upside down. My heart has been broken and certainly will never be the same . I cannot explain the amount of support and healing I have received from this establishment . On the day my sister's headstone came, I plugged my GPS in to head towards the local TJ MAXX for some retail therapy . Instead the GPS brought me to Windsoul. I thought this was pretty cool considering I had spent the night before googling yoga studios to check out. I was sleepless in knowing the next day I was going to see my sister's headstone with the last name ORTIZ on it ... yet for some reason I did not see Windsoul during my google search of local studios... yet there I was :). Gail greeted me with warmth and a genuine purpose to help me with what I needed . She assured me that I was in the right place . That Monday I started my first class with StaceyLynn whom I adore . She has a very upbeat personality and contagious energy. I started to join more classes and learn more about each instructor's style as well as personality , both of which reflect their practice . Gail is organized and intelligent . StaceyLynn is as well, but offers a certain level of spunk . I love Tuesday classes with Julie as well . The team members each offer something special . During this last year I became a certified yoga teacher to strengthen my own practice and utilize as a healing technique for when I work with veterans as a nurse someday (I am currently in school for nursing). I was inspired, aided and welcomed by this warm and loving family . I would not have started my yoga journey without the hospitality and inspiration from these women . During the summer time, Windsoul donated all proceeds from their community classes to Veterans Advocacy Services , a non-profit dedicated to provide veterans with assistance according to their specific needs . I recommend Windsoul . It is not just a yoga studio . It is a center for healing and inspiration .

The yoga classes are terrific, there is even live music on the Sunday morning class occaisionally, but, really, I'm sure not that many yelpers out there have heard of NIA, but this studio has got to be one of the best NIA studios with the best NIA classes in the country, and many teachers around the Boston area TAKE CLASSES here, where have you ever heard of that? If you have any excuse to hang out on Route 2, like on your way to apple picking or Concord touristy sites, start your weekend morning w/ a NIA class here, and you will be happy happy the rest of the day! Secret #2-- sometimes there are really beautiful veggies and natural foods like honey being sold in their waiting lounge area from the Skinner Ranch, a farm in Groton- I have bought greens and tomatoes in season after class.

They have all equipment available to use, including mats, blankets, straps, blocks, etc. or you can bring your own. I frequent the Monday class with John. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and experienced yoga instructor, and I would recommend his classes to anyone looking for a meaningful yoga experience. Classes run about $17/walk-in, and you can buy packaged deals which brings the cost down a bit. My one complaint would be the parking and the signage- it is difficult to find the studio your 1st time! Overall, great studio with good instructors. I'm happy it's in my area!
