Save your time and DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS! I needed a plain house key made, called the day before. He told me to call back the next day-which I did. I made the phone call at 2:15pm today, and he said his employee was in Petersburg, and he would call me when she was back. Well over an hour goes by, and keep in mind-I only need one house key made. So I take it upon myself to drive up there. There are 3 employees there, so I thought that maybe he forgot to call me back or possibly forgot my number. He was super passive aggressive and rude to me because he was "in a hurry" and couldn't take the 30 seconds needed to make a mere house key. It doesn't get any better than this I was in a panic I locked my keys inside of my Cadillac XTS. I called the Cadillac dealership and ask them what to do. Since I did not have my OnStar turned on they wanted me to have my car towed to the Cadillac dealership for them to remove the locks to get in the car. So I called the local tow company and believe it or not they referred me to this business. From the time I hung up the phone to the time he showed up was 17 minutes he immediately open my car door did not try to upsell me anything But I had to ask about replacement keys. He made me two sets of keys completely coated including the auto start and a coded key for my Toyota Sequoia for less than the price of a single key at the Cadillac dealership. Saw the reviews for Revolt and called. Got a hold of the owner Jimmy. From the get go, Jimmy proved to be knowledgeable and shot me a straight quote. Was comparable to others and definitely cheaper and quicker than the dealer. The nice thing was Jimmy was straight forward. Didn't try to bait and switch me. Didn't try to say that the technician would have to come out and see. Didn't try to pressure me into a sale. Just gave me his word and stuck to it, which in this day and age is quite lacking of most others out in Houston. He came out, explained the overall price, even cut me a deal on 2 flip keys. I paid $300 for 2 keys which took 30 minute program and cut, when the dealer would have charged $450 for one key and I would have had to wait 3-4 days. We rented a vehicle that wouldn't start one morning. He came out, said the vehicle should've still started, replaced the board in the key and it still wouldn't unlock or lock the vehicle. He tried to reprogram for an hour and never got it to do anything, unlock or lock the vehicle. He reset the immobilizer and got the vehicle to start but told the rental company we went through that it was our fault but told us it was nothing we did, it was a computer issue. Now the rental company is trying to charge us $600 for the repair that didn't fix the vehicle, that left us stranded and we had to pay for an Uber while the vehicle was towed. He lies and isn't trustworthy... I wish I could put no stars, pathetic excuse for a man and locksmith.. read more
