I was told "Absolutely, we will come to McMinnville to get you taken care of." I scheduled an appointment and was expecting them to send a technician out to the house. To my surprise, the owner of Dixie Mechanical himself showed up to my house, shook my hand, thanked me for calling his company and started cleaning my air unit right away. Not only did he service everything, he told me exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. He pointed out that my inside coil was filthy. He took the time to clean the coil for just a few extra bucks. He told me it would make my unit run more efficiently. Let me tell you folks, this guy knows his stuff. My air unit hasn't put out this much air flow in years. Philip Davis shoots you straight and lets you decide what level of service you want to pay for. It's nice knowing there's someone out there that won't trump up a bunch of surprise charges on you, only to tell you your service charge is more than you had initially been told. I can say from personal experience, Dixie Mechanical was upfront with me, professional, courteous and honest. That's a set of characteristics hard to find in a company these days. He didn't identify himself as a business or give me a name; just "Hello", when he answered. I called him back to cancel, as my husband left his place of employment to come home and see if he could get in. (I was not expecting this.) I called the phone number back to cancel, and the man simply said, "OK", on the phone. A few minutes later, a young man wearing pajamas pulls in my driveway, with a young child in the neck seat, and leaned out of his car door saying something neither of us could understand. My husband walked over to see what he needed, and he tells my husband that HE is the person I called to come unlock our door, and that we're so required to pay because he was already on his way. No lettered vehicle. No uniform. Not even neatly dressed. Hair standing straight up and sticking out every where. I wish I had been the one to walk out to see what he needed because I works have not given him ANY money. That's NOT how you do business! He didn't even have a business card. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON!!!

They came on time and the two guys were very nice and explained what needed to be done . Gave me an idea for an easy fix and check my chimney on the roof as well . The visit is usually 150 if they need to do work but the didn't need to do anything so the visit was 75 for me . They gave mean estimate for sealing the rock on the roof but was a bit out of my budget at this moment in time , so I declined it . We had a house fire and we're looking for a mobile to replace it on our land, fell in love with a lot model they had and told that if we don't put 1000 down by the following Monday it was probably going to be sold... So we get the 1000 together in cash and take it to the lot... Fast forward appx a week and a half, we find out that insurance doesn't cover as much as we thought and we now have to back up and punt and probably go with a used mobile now or something totally different... We go to get our deposit back and told we have to wait appx 14 days so corporate can cut a check I didn't bring a check, I brought cash, we had to get the $$ in a day or two if we didn't want what we were hoping to be our new home sold out from under us, but not even a full two weeks later and they have to wait 14 days to cut a check, well I didn't bring a check I brought cash, and if me and the wife can scrounge up 1000 bucks in a day or two to deposit on the home we wanted you would think a corporate company would be able to do the same?????? Can't put my faith in a company that can't afford to give you back the hard earned money you put up in cash without having a waiting period... I'd be concerned about a company that pushed for a deposit to be made like yesterday, but can't refund it with the same amount of time... If you decide to business here don't fall for the if you really like it you have to put up $1000 unless you guarantee you won't have any mishaps getting an approval or waiting for the insurance company and knowing you can cover the total cost because you are going to have to wait for the corporate company to apparently find the $1000 you have given them in cash and write you a check, hopefully the check is good since it is such a headache for them to give me my money back????
