am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your recent garage door installation. Door…read moreinstallation was arranged through home depot and performed by your company. The installation involved a garage door unit model number 2053P. When the installer Will Ashmore completed the job I noticed that light from outside was still visible at the top and both sides up the door I requested an adjustment but Mr. Ashmore stated that this was the best he could do and left. I contacted the company for further assistant and requested another technician period I also reached out to home depot, but unfortunately they were unwilling to assist despite being the contracting party. Subsequently, two additional technicians, Gavin Powers and Derek Bryan inspected the door and confirmed that the original installer did not correctly installed the seals.Despite these visits, my garage door remains improperly Installed and unrepaired, the experience has been frustrating and has raised concerns about the quality of service and accountability between dakota door sales and home depot. I am requesting that immediate correction of the installation to ensure the door is properly installed.

The install for 2 doors took most of a day with one come back to install the keyless entry remote. Ron and Dakota communicated with us during the entire process. The price was much cheaper than we thought and will go with Dakota doors on our next building.

The owner acknowledged the seriousness of the incident, apologized, and confirmed corrective action and company-wide training would take place. Recently, I was shocked to learn that the same inspector was assigned to one of my listings -- despite the office knowing in advance that I would be required to attend the inspection to provide access. When I contacted the office, I was told there was a note in their system preventing him from attending inspections where I represent the buyer -- but no restriction if I represent the seller. That distinction is unacceptable. My original complaint was about personal safety and professional conduct, not about which side of a transaction I'm on. Scheduling him at a property where I was required to be present reflects either a serious internal breakdown or a failure to take my original complaint as seriously as stated. This is our 2nd house to use Duff's Blinds Custom Window Treatments. Both times we have been taken…read moreso well care of. During COVID, of course, like all other businesses the manufacturing of the Window Treatments have taken a week or so more for a specific item. However, it positively is worth the wait and I am pleased with every single window treatment. The best part of using Duff's is I don't have to worry or think about anything once I call to place an order. The measurements are promptly taken, and I get help picking out the specific type of window treatment, and then I can take it off of my to-do list because in a few weeks every window will be complete. All I have to do is open my door to let the window treatments come in to be installed. We have a variety of kinds of treatments and all are spectacular. Since the company has grown from the first time we used it, additional staff has been hired to help with installation. And the hired staff installers were in and out of our home in know time. I love that the company takes such pride in doing great work and helping me to pick out or suggest a particular kind of window treatment for a room based on its purpose. For example, we have beautiful roller blinds in two windows that allow light to come into the home but doesn't allow someone outside to see in. We have two honeycomb blinds in rooms that were getting a lot of sun; these have cut down on the temperature change. And in our media room we installed blackout honeycomb blinds that absolutely work --when down the room is totally blacked out and a great for movie night. In most other rooms and garage we have the regular high quality white faux wood blinds. We had these in our first home and these ended up being our favorite! I highly recommend them for any room and they really go with any decor. And I will be calling them back to door our southern shutters for our dining room as soon as we are ready. We had some of these shutters in our first home and it is a capital investment in your home that increases your homes value. These shutters really impress buyers!
