What I didn't like had to do with coloring and other things that had nothing to do with the quality of the installation. They redid the floor and I'm now loving my new shower. He was very professional, prompt, friendly, organized, knowledgeable about products, scope of work, and gave us a very impressive timeline. Eric offered his expertise about layout, and products which was very helpful. When we received our contract, it was just as he said it would be, and the scope of work included everything we requested. After the contract was signed, the owner of Vostok, Alex, arrived with the demolition crew. The crew was very careful to cover the adjacent bedroom furniture and flooring. The bathroom work area was closed off with plastic, and the crew was very tidy while they worked. The old bathroom was demolished ASAP. Alex is very knowledgeable and skilled. While I understand contractors need to prioritize their workload, the lack of interest in smaller projects was disappointing. If you have a large-scale job, they might be worth contacting, but don't bother if you're looking for partial work or a smaller project--it doesn't seem to be worth their time. We ended up finding another contractor who was happy to work with us and did an excellent job at a fair price.

Our 1960s home was in a need of a major update, the front of the house had not been updated since…read moreit was built. The porch, walkway, and side steps had wrought iron posts and pink tile that besides being hideous were slippery. Our driveway is enormous and had big cracks and no drainage, and water would pool towards our house when it would rain. Additionally, any crevice the previous owner could pour concrete into he did. This is a long-winded way of saying, this was a big project. While Neighborhood Builders wasn't the cheapest quote, we wanted experts that were going to do the job right, and that is Anthony and his team. Anthony got the quote to me quick. We had a lot of companies come out and most don't even bother to send a quote. This project became a pretty epic because of issues that could not have been foreseen. Anthony and his team tackled each problem with expertise, were upfront, and were able to solve them for us. Since Anthony is a general contractor, he was able to resolve all the problems we encountered. In addition to the concrete work, they put new siding in the front. They also were able to do some electrical work and installed outdoor plugs, a light, and doorbell. The concrete walkway, porch, and driveway are beautiful and functional. This was tested when we just had that 200 year storm (in October 2021). All the drainage worked perfectly, and we had no water pooling. Our house is completely transformed. I love it so much! If I had to choose again I would definitely go with Neighborhood Builders, and will definitely be using them for future projects.
