But I knew I wanted him to do the work so I asked about eliminating the trim and just painting the walls. I accepted the second bid. Communication was always spot on. He and his son did an excellent job. We had some problems with a few walls in the house and Mark is a real pro. Serval walls had mirrors attached. Removing the mirrors left awful walls with holes and uneven surfaces. They now look beautiful. The house had walls of colors ranging from mustard to black. Now they are all one color. Even and beautiful. I highly recommend Mark and Craig.

Especially after we talked to several contractors and they either said they can't help at all, or they charged and arm & leg, and/or they suggested we have to remodel our entire enclosure. He has also on multiple occasions noticed things that might need fixing and has suggested repairs and/or improvements. This is all without any pressure or obvious intent to drum up more business. I have also found him to be very resourceful and he has added his own suggestions on doing the project better than we had intended without any additional costs. He and his two man team are very hard working and just downright pleasant people to work with. They are all very courteous and careful to clean up the job site when complete. Finally, every bid we have received has been quite reasonable. He will work with you as a partner and in that kind of relationship both parties will benefit a great deal. If you are a micro-manager you will lose out on much of his value. He will do things exactly as you wish, but we suggest you take advantage of his wealth of experience.

I will say off the top that in this day and age NV Contracting is that rare business which not only…read moreprovides top-notch service, but conducts itself with old-school professionalism and integrity. I required exterior painting done on my two-story house and a 12x16 storage shed. I contacted NVC first based on other good reviews. After reaching out online they contacted me almost immediately, setting up an estimate within a day or two. I signed contracts a day after that. The owners, Johnathan and Sonia, are super-nice people. NV showed up exactly when they said they would and on time every single day. Stefany from the ofice staff is also incredibly pleasant and friendly. She answered all my questions and contacted me in advance before every visit, updating me and relaying requests from the crew each day during the job. They told me up front I could probably find a cheaper contractor, but not one that would do they job they did. They didn't disappoint, working 12-hour days until the job was finished --- including immaculate cleanup each evening. The preppers and painters were kind and extremely hard-working. The first day the crew showed up early and spent a full day doing prep work, including pressure-washing, bubble-scraping, replacement of some rotting wood and a vent, and a lot of sealing. They did a ton of calking on my siding and even re-calked all my windows. They spent the second day putting two coats of high-quality paint on the house, and the third day applying two coats of trim, including gutters and downspouts. I have expensive security cameras and they were super-careful working around the cameras and cables, covering them when needed. They spent part of a fourth day checking their work, doing touchup and cleaning up. Johnathan gave me a final tour before wrapping up the project. My house is 26 years old and now it looks brand new and pristine. As happy and amazed as I am with the work they completed, I think I'm equally as pleased to have found such a diligent and professional local contractor I can trust and count on. I will be using them for a kitchen remodel next winter. There aren't enough stars, nor can I recommend this NV Contracting highly enough! Thank you!
