For years, I stuck with another broker in the Westminster area, primarily because it was a default recommendation from a real estate agent. That experience, frankly, was a nightmare. Our previous broker was unresponsive, and when our insurance company tried to block us from renewing our coverage, citing an "unlivable" roof (despite us having repaired it years ago and providing proof), that broker was the absolute worst to deal with. They wouldn't respond until our coverage had already lapsed and we had to scramble to find new insurance. To add insult to injury, they then tried to charge us for a renewed coverage we never agreed to!
