I was disappointed with the size of the cabinets, the refaced new cabinets are smaller than the old ones so the old wood is more exposed, and one of my goals was to minimize the exposure of the old wood, which I did explain when I ordered the cabinets. I was told I would have more room for pots and pans with the pull out drawers but I actually have less, but had they suggested, combining the two small cabinets into one which the Carpenter mentioned, but it was too late because everything was ordered that would've made a nice difference - I wish it was suggested. The utility drawer for storing dry goods has never functioned properly. When I pull it out, It drops down and everything falls out. The Carpenter, who does not work for, Revelare directly( sub contractor) was surprised when I showed him the glossy booklet with the pictures of the cabinets I had ordered because he had never seen it- came back to fix it but a week later it broke again. I have called Revelare many times and left a detailed email over the past several months, giving them ample opportunity to convert me to a satisfied customer, but they have ghosted me. I have left messages for Cody, Barry and the customer quality team that called me twice to ask me how everything was and I told them my issues and they assured me someone would get back to me. No one has. It has been months and I've decided to write a review. . I have never written a negative review in my life! but ultimately I would not recommend this company. I paid in full- upfront as requested, I should have waited to pay the balance after the work was done, but they did not give this as an option. I have a very small kitchen and only had cabinets re-faced and four 6 new drawers. So, it was not a bargain, but I was hoping to have top quality work that would last at least 10 years and was willing to pay for it. Unfortunately, I did not get my money's worth on this one. UPDATE to my previous post: The company did finally contact me regarding our experience. Unfortunately, the resolution they offered didn't come close to reflecting nearly nine months of delays, repeated follow-ups, multiple unsuccessful attempts to complete the work correctly, and the disruption this caused our family. I declined their offer. At this point, I'm not looking for more repair attempts. We've given the company numerous opportunities to make this right, and we simply can't continue disrupting our kitchen. I'm disappointed that after everything we've experienced, this is where things stand. Nine months. Multiple attempts. Work still not right. And unfortunately, still no meaningful resolution. The installation was done and done well. The issue arose when one door and draw set was not correct. The door was corrected and installed, however, the draw was wrong. Three months later and several draws made and still wrong, I am still waiting. We have made numerous attempts to conact someone and all attempts have been friutless. Do not use this company for your cabinetry needs. We signed a contract with them 15 months ago and they finally came to do the work 11 months ago. The job is not complete after 11 months of waiting for them to return. We have a glaringly blemished cabinet door that was installed and they didn't completely wrap the cabinets with Formica but charged us full price. They had a replacement door shipped and has been here for 8 months with little communication or follow through on their promises to complete the service and repair. I scheduled an appointment for today at 2 PM and received several confirmation calls from your representative, so I fully expected someone to arrive as planned. I was very surprised when no one showed up. I eventually received a text message stating that the designer had a family emergency and "won" be able to make it--along with other noticeable spelling errors, including being told to "fell" free to call. This lack of professionalism is concerning. Based on this experience, it makes me question the reliability of your advertising. I was told by the Revelare sales person that from start to finish, the job would be done in 3 to 5 days with "no surprises." After 2.5 weeks, my kitchen is still not done and is not functional. There have been several problems--from an installation person loudly venting about his personal life in my home, to no sink/faucet delivered, to duplicate and other people's sinks and faucets mistakenly delivered to me, to the counter company not being able to install because Revelare didn't check to make sure the cabinets were level. We had our kitchen cabinets done by Revelare, I believe fall of 2019. By Oct 2020 we had one door covering curling up (delaminating), which they replaced. By 2022, we had several doors and cabinet facings that were delaminating. Service was terrible (it was during Covid). After I went to the BBB, Revelare offered to fix the mess, but we had to pay $900 in labor charges. I declined, because I won't spend another nickel on this garbage. I would never recommend cabinet refacing by Revelare - I have no experience with other companies so I don't know if other products might be better. Bottom line up front: save yourself the time, money, and perhaps your faith in humanity and do not solicit the goods & services of this company. I'm hoping that someone in the research and discovery phase of a planning a home project who considers using Home Depot sees this post before making a final decision. Simply put: DON'T DO IT. DO NOT use Home Depot for your cabinetry needs--they outsource to Revelare Kitchens (aka/dba Your Remodeling Guys) and you will be astounded by how deftly this company will lead you through a smoke and mirrors farce of a process to create the illusion that you're paying for a quality product. After zoom calls with a designer, dozens of emails with an inept project manager who can't answer a simple question regarding ETA in a timely manner, thousands of dollars and months later your "custom cabinets" will reveal themselves to be slabs of particle board that you can buy yourself for a fraction of the cost at IKEA and hire a handyman to install. When you then reach out to said inept project manager to express your incredulity and request to speak to his superior, he will flat out lie to you and tell you that he does not have a superior. I kid you not, he will assume you have zero experience in a tiered organizational structure and will continue to REFUSE to let you speak to anyone but him. In my case, not only was I aghast at the poor quality of the materials compared to the cost to purchase ($4k for an L-shaped design in a tiny laundry room), several parts were missing and I was unable to have the particle board assembled into some semblance of cabinetry even if I was willing to do so. So, I gave up. I was 3 months postpartum with my third child and hanging by a thread so I stopped trying to get someone at Revelare to speak to me about a way forward, or to at least listen to me opine about how predatory their practices are. People seek out a Home Depot cabinetry solution because they're looking to stretch a dollar and likely can't afford a *genuinely* custom solution. Revelare knows this and takes advantage of a clientele that can't afford high-end cabinetry, but doesn't want a makeshift solution, either. Their margins on projects like mine must be spectacular. Finally, about a month ago, I received a call from a seemingly helpful and engaged customer service agent asking to schedule our cabinet installation. I was coming out of my postpartum fog and felt renewed hope that this out-of-the-blue outreach after weeks (months? I stopped counting) of silence would be a harbinger of positive change. WRONG. This gentleman also ghosted me after I forwarded him email and text communications that corroborated my telling of the chain of events. My favorite part of our discussion was when he revealed that none of my complaints were noted in my file. Shocker! If you need storage solutions for a laundry room or closet, just go to the custom route at Container Store. You'll pay more, but the process will be expeditious, transparent, and their customer service team is lovely. I'm kicking myself for trying to save the extra $3k by going through Home Depot / Revelare. Lesson learned! read more

Sales rep was mad we wouldn't commit immediately to the $12k investment. Revelare was 1st company we called and we wanted a night to think about it. Sales rep couldn't get out of our house fast enough. We decided to go with them as we liked the quality of products shown. It took 2 months to deposit the down payment and 4 months to start project. The installer was knowledgeable and kind but sales rep measurements were off, and install notes incorrect. The result was missing drawer faces and hardware and improperly seated doors and hinges that are not working properly (soft close). It took me threatening bad reviews for company to reach back. Mistakes happen and that is fine but the customer follow-up has been atrocious. After providing pics in December of install mistakes to Revelare to match with installer notes, I was assured the repairs would be performed by mid to late January. It is now past mid February and Revelare has not contacted me for fixing mistakes. They have my money and that seems to be the end of conversation. read more

Revelare Kichens use Sunlight Financial for payments. We wanted to pay in full to avoid a large interest rate. TWICE we mailed a check in the amount of 19035 dollars .Due to the high amount we mailed it certified. The 1st address we got from Sunlight was wrong. They gave us a new address for mailing certified. AGAIN the check was lost. Revelare told us to just mail the check. If they loose certified mail how can you trust sending a check via regular mail. We want to pay this off so as not to pay thousands in interest. Perhaps they prevent the full payment so as to get the interest!!!! Why use such an incompetent financial institution. Did not get passed the sales pitch. Ten minutes late for our "free consultation" Came on strong with the sales pitch for composite drawers and drawers - not new cabinets. Then, as consult went on-and-on we told him we needed to wrap it up soon - just give us the proper measurements and the price Per sq foot!! A small tantrum ensued including being grilled as to whether customer service told us it could be over 3 hours. (We do not have 3 hours at the end of a workday to "consult" with anyone). After that, his pompous attitude was worse - he slammed things around and refused to even give us a copy of the quote. If you want a great experience and professional demeanor - go with Brubaker kitchen remodel. Our sales consultation was lengthy but the sales person was friendly and provided a lot of information. Based on work done, some of the info we were told was not accurate. But the refacing of the cabinets and installation of new doors went smoothly, and our end product looks great and turned out as we anticipated. The installers were professional and did great work in a timely fashion. It only took 3 days to complete our project and each evening they cleaned up and returned in AM ready to go. I never write reviews but I always read them so I feel compelled to share. Our customer service experience was terrible! Do not use this service!! Our project manager was Matt-cabinet refacing started May 11, its now July 15th and the project is just about completed. Matt overbooked our installer and we were without a functional kitchen space for almost 6 weeks. Missing materials delayed completion even longer. Matt was horrible about communicating the plan and timeline-I would always have to reach out several times to get a reply. I asked to file a formal complaint with the company for the long delay and he refused to let me speak with anyone else. If you advertise a specific timeline and do not get even close to meeting it, there should be some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and added expenses of not having a functional kitchen. Matt refused to acknowledge this at all. The only positive is that our installer was professional and did good work in the end. read more
