My uncle had cataracts that had hardened so bad they had to be broken up to be removed, and the pressure in his one eye was so bad he was at risk of losing his eye all together. Keep in mind he takes a lot of emergency cases other doctors can't/don't want to handle so he is often backed up, which means you will wait a while. But when it is your turn he will take the appropriate amount of time. He has a younger associate who will see you on some of the follow-up visits and he is great too. The desk and support staff are wonderful, and did a lot of hand-holding and were really thorough at getting all the complicated insurance straightened out, and getting him in the hospital ASAP. There were very helpful during the aftercare time, making sure he had all the right prescriptions lined up, and very responsive to phone calls. Highly recommend!!

I was given an eye exam along with the standard dilation to check that the inner workings of the eye were good to go (they were). All of this was in preparation for my visit with Dr. Mahdavi. Upon my visit with Dr. Mahdavi, my first impressions are good. He had a great chair side manner, reminded me that he was indeed one of the fellows during my first visits at NRI. He gave me great advice in getting some drops for dry eyes ( making sure it was preservative-free) and I look forward to my future eye visits with him. All in all, thus practice is great at providing excellent eye care.

They are dishonest, deceptive, and only care about getting your money.

They gave me a plan for the Surgury. I feel that they did. not tell me in layman's term's; as I am not a Doctor. Their Recomendations veried. My eye site was very good for long distances. Up close Vision; I wore dollar glasses for reading purposes. I told them I do not want to have to wear glasses to read up close. THEY ALSO OFFEREED ANOTHER WAY; but I would need to pay out of pocket $5000. Dollars for.. I said, No. Another Eye Doctor gave me another option that they did not offer. They could do two different solutions; one for the left eye, one for my right eye. BEP DID NOT OFFER ME THIS OPTION. Dr. Williamson set me up for the Surgery. I told them that due to my bad Anxiety, I needed to wear my Wireless Ear Buds so I could use my wireless ear Buds. They said no, they would not let me do it. I Needed it due to my Bad Anxiety. They said NO!WHAT DOES WIRELESS EAR BUDS HAVE TO DO WITH EYE SURGERY. After arguing they finally said OK, reluctantly. Long story short, I had the Surgery. It seemed like a long process for many months. When I told them, when they asked me, I did not feel I got what I was expecting at all. The only thing I wanted was Not to wear eye glasses!at all! They were not forthcoming with me. Worse yet, when I asked to Speak with Dr. Williamson to call me on numerous occassions . Over a period of two months, she did not call me back. Just missed calls! I called my Attorney. A lady in the office named Tina, was not nice She argued with me and she seemed to act like a Lawyer! She denied everything I said! I Cannot even believe what she told me. The only advantage I received, seems to be somewhat brighter vision; Nothing more. In the End, My wife & I were very dissappointed in the Results. I just did not get what We expected, at all. I had also asked them to send me the paperwork which they never sent to me either.
