Great selection of southwestern decor and the prices are reasonable. So many rooms to explore.

We were introduced to Retablo's by a couple friend who snowbird in Estancia and we were blown away. So much so that we flew back out, rented a suburban, loaded it to the max and drove our beautiful treasures home. They have an amazing selection of unique finds and the prices are extremely fair. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They even cut a table base down for us and it was ready for pickup when we flew back. 5+ stars! read more

I passed Retablo for years. The front is staged with lots of multi-colored Mexican pottery and Southwestern metal art objects--not things I was normally looking for. I decided to share a cactus as a housewarming gift so one day I stopped to look at pots. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. The walls are adorned with ceramic and metal art, there are some beautiful rustic furniture pieces and some really nice lamps. I fell in love with the copper shades and the light cast by their designs and that is what I came home with instead of the pot. There were some really nice pieces at reasonable prices. Also, I liked the "rusted" metal art rather than the painted and I see a need for a few of their smaller cacti. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area! read more

I purchased a coffee table/chest, sideboard and gorgeous table and chairs here about three weeks ago, and they very kindly held them for me until I was able to move into my new place. They literally just delivered them, right on time, and I think I love them even more now! I had been slightly concerned about a loose latch on the sideboard (minor, just needed tightening) and was really happy they remembered to adjust that without any prompting. I purchased from the Cave Creek location, and the only reason I didn't purchase more is because I wasn't sure how much space I had in my new location! They have all sorts of pieces - from furniture to small, artistic accent pieces. As they advertise, the items are handmade and unique. The prices are excellent, the staff could not have been more helpful, and I will absolutely be back. It is definitely worth the drive for unique pieces! read more

My husband and I almost purchased a tile table top, and I called Retablo to see if they had a table stand for it. Gretchen persuaded me to come in and see what they have first. WOW! We purchased a gorgeous copper top and table stand... AND, we picked up beautiful stools for our patio. They even stand the stools to match our outside table. Formerly called "Buffalo Bill's" this is the same fantastic place that I have been shopping at for the seven years I snow-bird in Arizona. Do NOT just visit one building---there are two different buildings, parking lots separated by a third site that you will want to visit. Rustic to the point of junky, this place is FILLED with real treasures hidden among the rest. You will not get dusty in the furniture store and you definitely will want to wash your hands at the home decor store. When we leave AZ for good, I am sure I will come back here just to shop at Retablo--cannot find this stuff anywhere else! read more

Reasonably-priced beautiful solid wood rustic Mexican furniture and other Mexican home decor. If you love colorful Mexican decor then this is the place to shop. They have EVERYTHING. I got a Mexican tile sink for my bathroom for $30. Sell online at different import shops for over $100. read more

I stooped at this place before and its prices where incredibly high. This weekend I drove by and saw a bunch of cars and some sale signs so I decided to stop. I come to find out that they are new owners and they are getting rid off all the old inventory. The young fellow was really nice and very helpful. He loaded my car and made sure that everything was packed properly, he also assured me that moving forward the prices would be "fair" and that they would have a lot more selection of furniture and home decor.
