Subject: Disappointing Experience at Resurrection Auto Repair
Our experience at Resurrection Auto Repair left much to be desired, and we feel compelled to share our story as a cautionary tale for others.
Initially, we chose Resurrection due to a transmission issue with our car. The owner appeared friendly and helpful, guiding us towards a rebuilt transmission to reduce costs. However, our optimism soon turned into frustration.
Shortly after the repair, our car began making unsettling clunking noises when turning. Returning to Resurrection in the hopes of resolution, we were met with denial and a hefty $700 bill for a cracked front control arm or knuckle, a problem they claimed was unrelated to their previous work.
Even more concerning, a few weeks later, my wife noticed the car pulling to one side. Upon seeking the opinion of another mechanic, it was revealed that Resurrection had failed to properly align the tires after replacing the part, a basic oversight that further compounded our issues.
What's more, our new mechanic took the time to explain the likely cause of the problem. He revealed that the crack in the front arm or knuckle was likely a result of rushed workmanship. Apparently, instead of disassembling the car properly, a shortcut was taken. Using a hammer in a rush, the mechanic likely attempted to access the transmission quickly, but in doing so, caused the crack.
This series of events left us deeply disappointed and financially burdened. We have no intention of returning to Resurrection Auto Repair unless they refund us for the subpar services rendered. Additionally, we strongly advise others against entrusting their vehicles to a shop that prioritizes shortcuts over quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, our experience underscores the importance of integrity in the auto repair industry, and we hope that by sharing our story, others can avoid similar pitfalls. read more
