Mike is a fantastic mechanic and a great person. My major car repair was done perfectly at a very good price!

Then when I got there I was told the tire was too old, they can't work on it. But I could buy a tire to replace it. This tire was seen two times before this and they didn't mention the age either time. The second time I had a low pressure light, I was told to bring it back the next day to get it repaired. Again I was told the second day that I needed and appointment, so another trip. Each time I was there they measured the tread on every tire. When I went back for my appointment, I was told the tire tread was too worn, they couldn't work on it. If you have them check your tire pressure, they will want to put 38 or 40 pounds of pressure in your tires "because the weather is turning colder". Tell them no. Have them put the recommended pressure listed on your car. The higher pressure will wear out your tires faster.

I wish I could give the Sam's Club in Cheyenne, Wyoming zero stars. Their customer service is…read moreterrible. We drove in from Torrington with the plan of getting a discounted membership that we found on line. We started to give the customer service rep our info and when she gave the price, we told her we saw that for new members there was a 50% discount. She called over another rep and when I told her about the discount she said rudely, "show me". So I pulled up the info that was offered by IDMe directed from the Sam's Club website. She told me that's on line only. We kind of went rounds with why would they offer the discount on line but not in person. She was rude not only to us, but to my in-laws that were also trying to sign up as new members. After it was all said and done, I was told that we could sign up on line, get the discount, and that we wouldn't need membership cards because they were moving everything to an electronic format, so we could just download the app and be good to go. I specifically asked if since we already gave our info but didn't pay for the membership if that would cause any issues. She said no, there would be no record of us joining since we didn't complete the process. We walked away with a bad taste in our mouth, but not completely against joining. A couple of days later I go to sign up on line to get the discount and I get a message stating I didn't qualify for the discount because it was for new members only and not renewals. I have never had a membership at Sam's. The date that my "membership" expired was the day after I was in the Sam's Club in Cheyenne. So instead of canceling the transaction, it seems that they just put an end date to show I didn't sign up for the membership. I chatted on line with an agent who directed me to call the membership call center to get it worked out. They tried to help, but they basically just said to try it again and since my email wasn't registered that it would go through. At this point between both customer service centers I had already spent way to much time on a company that I didn't really deserve my business. So I didn't try again.

I had shoulder surgery shortly after that which reduced my mobility to get around for a couple of months; and, when I was able to get back into the store, I was told by at least 4 other front desk employees that only she could honor the store credit. The main problem with that is she is hardly ever in and doesn't return phone calls. When I finally was able to get in contact with her after several weeks, she wouldn't honor the offer and treated me as a non valuable customer. So very disappointing after being a Sam's customer for well over 30 years.

And they wouldn't even repair it as a spare but would gladly sell me an $80 replacement tire. So I asked them where I could find a "John Wayne" of tire repairs because their soy boy operation disappoints. The guy was very nice but understood and pointed me to Tom. In less than 2 hours the puncture was repaired and I was happy to pay the $17 freight. Listen, I was a grease monkey in high school and we repaired everything short of a sidewall puncture. These corporate yahoos have the local guys pinching diamonds over crazy liability concerns. Here's a tip Buzz Lightyear: You're plugging holes in tires not trying to seal a hydrogen leak in a rocket booster. Bryce updated me on the job progression and told me that due to my Custom rims it was a longer than normal job. He explained the set up they had to use in their machine and how they have to keep resetting it every time the arm caught on the rims. Since they were using a plastic piece to protect the wheels it was catching quite a bit, so with my wheels it wasn't just a "slap them on job." I appreciated Bryce's honesty and the fact that he and his guys took care and every precaution to protect my wheels, thank you for that. With that in mind I definitely didn't mind the extra wait time. I definitely recommend Tom The Tire Man, and will give them my business in the future.
