After multiple stops and starts on trying to find a new landing spot for me I put in yet another request for resume writers to help me land a role at the company I was excited about.  Colin from a best impression reached out to me with a new tool he was launching called "Walk the Walk" and was confident that this would help me land the interviews that I was looking for. I was a bit skeptical out of the gate, but I took the time to do a free consult with Colin over google hangouts.  Colin listened to my needs and concerns, explained the process and the tool.  After meeting with Colin, his confidence and how he took the time to truly listen to me sold me on this tool.  I also figured, I've been doing the same thing trying to land interviews over the last few years, so why not try something new? I said yes to Colin and started the process. From there, Colin spent time with me over the course of a few weeks, showing me the tool and how to effectively use it.  Colin made sure I fully understood how the tool worked.  The tool itself is so incredibly easy to use and I found because of its ease of use, that it could quickly scale to help me land interviews at multiple employers. I spent 3 years trying to land interviews at a few specific companies with minimal success.  After 3.5 months of using the walk the walk tool and working with Colin, I was able to land a job at my top company choice along with an incredible salary and benefits. Kolby was really systematic in his approach. First, he helped identify what I was truly passionate about. Second, he was almost a therapist in the sense that he addressed the work insecurities I had. Once I was on board and believed that I could do the work I wanted to do and do it well, he edited my resume and cover letter and LinkedIn profile. Then we used the remaining sessions to do some interview preparation, and really worked on telling my story in an interesting way, and ensuring that the interviewers understood it too. Total time between invoicing and electronic payment is 11 days. They have never been late. Once, I forgot to invoice for one week, and I didn't realize it until the following Monday. I sent the invoice then and told them I didn't expect payment until the following week, but they paid me that Friday, just four days later! That is outstanding service!
