I started training with Esteban just eight weeks ago, working out 2-3 days a week, and I'm amazed by the results. I feel stronger and fitter than I have in years. I also truly admire Leo, the owner. I love working out with George so much. Honestly, his sessions are not easy. I get nervous before I go to the gym lol BUT it actually works!!!!! I worked with several Personal Trainers before George but George is the only trainer who fixed my leg pain and not making me get bored. He always motivates me to work out with those energy!!! This business should get 10 stars. I have been weightlifting for years. In 2020 I was getting tired of the same routine. I wanted to find a personal trainer. When the pandemic happened I used that as a good excuse to take a break and do home workouts on line. Over the course of the year I gained "the COVID 15". I felt awful. I knew I wanted to get back in shape but regular gyms were not open at all or had limited hours. I researched and researched and found Results. Once I was ready to go back, I called Leo. I start work early so I like to work out at 4:30 AM. He said no problem. That was a win in and of itself. Leo and his team wake up for me to be healthy and successful. That says a lot. I thought personal training would be someone spotting me as I lift weights. Boy was I wrong. Not only does Leo's functional training transform the body (I lost the COVID 15 quickly), I learned how to move. I learned how to do compound exercises. Leo also inspires me every time we work together to think differently and understand that a lot of what I think I cannot do really is in my head. My experience at Results is 5 STARS! When I first called months ago, the owner Leo scheduled me for a free first session the following week. When I arrived, I met Octavian who about asked me about my specific goals and about any possible medical concerns. He tailored that first session to help meet my specific goals we had talked about. I bought a package, and am SO happy to have trained with Octavian! I feel that he truly took my goals into consideration when structuring my workouts. He always demonstrates and explains all exercises. He is also an attentive trainer! He watches to make sure my form is correct and counts sets/ reps to keep me on track. Octavian regularly asks for feedback on how the workouts feel, if I feel challenged enough (I definitely felt challenged!), etc. I began training at Results when gyms were allowed to re-open in LA county, and I am very impressed with Results' sanitary precautions during covid. They have clearly marked areas on the floor with tape to ensure everyone is able to have their own space at a 6 ft distance from others. They have a written schedule so Leo is always aware of who (clients/ trainers) is present together at any given time. Everyone's temperature is screened at the door upon arrival. Hand sanitizer is readily available. Trainers clean every piece of equipment once their client is finished with it. So, moving to CA from the other side of the nation can be quite overwhelming. I needed to find a new gym and Results is close to my house, so I figured I'd give them a call. After I left a message, Leo called me back within 24 hours and we set an appointment for me to talk about what I was looking for and try them out. After speaking with Esteban, I started training with him and have been meeting with him twice a week for around 8 months. After reading the numerous Yelp reviews, I decided to give Results a shot to help me realize my fitness goals. 18 months, and 45lbs lighter, I could not be happier. Results is not just a place to "workout." It's a place you go to be pushed by supportive, but firm, trainers to help you realize your full potential. It has also been great to get to know some of the other men and women who train there. I train with the owner, Leo. In my first session, Leo told me "what you are going to do in this gym matters far less than what you are going to do outside the gym." I thought I could go lift weights a bit, and the weight would shed off: false. Leo got in my head. He helped me realize so many of the bad choices I had made in the past, and how the only person holding me back, was me. It's not just about lifting weights or a great workout routine. Leo trained my mind. A few objective points: parking is very easy in the lot in front. Leo is flexible when I have to move an appointment. If he can't take me, he will set me up with one of the other trainers. I have trained with 5 other trainers there when I couldn't make my appointment. Finally decided to go in to Results with my fiance after we got engaged as we had made a choice together to live healthier and start taking care of ourselves. This gym is wonderful. When you go in for a consultation they get to know you and what your goals/intentions are, and then work with you to create a plan to help you get to those goals. From the moment we started everyone was welcoming and supportive. The owner Leo has created an environment that is extremely encouraging and judgement free. We work out at the same time as a few people and everyone ranges from age, body type, and physical ability. There is no feeling of pressure or comparison here, everyone is focused on their goals and cheering on one another throughout the workout. All the trainers are there to be dedicated to their clients and support everyone working out. It makes it really easy to get excited about working out. We work specifically with Esteban who has been a great influence with the perfect balance of encouragement mixed with pushing us to finish the workout strong. He has been helpful asking how we are feeling with our progress, checking in on what were eating and sometimes offering suggestions on healthy snacks. Could not recommend this gym more to anyone who is looking for a health boost and to meet your goals (whatever that may be) lose weight, gain weight, tone your butt, get some abs, just have more energy. I have been working with personal trainers for the past 22 years in the variousplaces i lived. I had just moved to L.A. and was interviewing 2 trainers who had no idea how to work with a knee that had a torn meniscus. They actually made it worse to the point i had to go to an orthopedist and was considering surgery. Results helped me get back on track after being out for almost a year. Leo worked with me on lots of exercises that were good for my knee as well as the rest of my body. I am 67 years old so flexibility and strength and balance are very important. Leo is phenomenal! The training, or rather coaching I received from him is very different from what I expected, in a good way. I came to the gym in the hope of having some movements corrected and working out a routine with Leo. I thought being a top-notch trainer, Leo would be able to quickly figure out my reps and sets. To be honest, that was all I believed I need. Only did I later realize that how off I was (oops Leo, I should use "I am + something positive" like you suggested lol) after talking to Leo. I thought my slow progress was due to inadequate training (I already spent 2hr/day at the gym, maybe I should spend more?) or low intensity. However, Leo pointed out that it is my unreasonably high expectation that keeps me from making progress. I have been focusing too much on pushing myself to the limit that I never let me body rest I never expected training to be life changing. However, my views have changed after training with Leo. He has taken personal training to a whole new level. To say Leo is a personal trainer is an understatement (of course he is an exceptional personal trainer). To me, he is a life coach who truly cares about your growth. He finds ways to help me become stronger both physically and mentally. I really appreciate his effort. Leo is an absolutely incredible trainer! When I first went into Results, I had no idea what I was walking into. I had trained with several other trainers at 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness. They were average at best. When I first started training with Leo, I had ideas of what I needed to work on. I knew I wanted to lose some weight, get fit and work on a few problem areas including my stomach, hips and arms. Little did I know that he was going to have me work on so much more. Yes, Leo helped me by instructing me on full body workouts and meal plan ideas. However he also helped me with mental factors as well. He taught me that really it was an entire package. I did 10 sessions at this small personal fitness studio, situated on the 2nd floor of a strip mall. There is a high turnover of trainers other than the core group of guys, led by the owner, Leo, making it feel very much like a 'boys club.' Don't get the sense of teamwork that is so important in a small fitness studio environment. I regretted the decision 1/2 through my 10 session package. Additionally, the equipment is old, the place is crammed, and the flooring is carpeted making it on the smelly side. I'd pass on this option and look elsewhere. read more
