I want to start by saying how pissed off, frustrated, and disappointed I am with the customer…read moreservice I received at Frontier Toyota today. I brought my vehicle in at 11:00 AM for an oil change, tire rotation, and basic service. I was told it would take approximately two hours. At 1:10 PM, I asked for an update because I needed to leave by 2:00 PM to pick up my child from school. What happened next was extremely frustrating. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply asking where my vehicle was. Raymond, the technician I was dealing with, wasn't even in his office. I then had to wait for Jack to get off the phone so he could help me. Jack walked through the garage twice looking for my vehicle and couldn't find it. He eventually went looking for the mechanics and lead technician, only to find out they were at lunch. At this point, all I cared about was getting my vehicle back so I could pick up my child. Jack eventually found the vehicle and brought it around for me. Then came the part that absolutely infuriated me: after waiting more than two hours, I was told that THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED SERVICING MY VEHICLE. I had given up two hours of my day off for what should have been a simple, routine service. This wasn't some complicated repair. This was an oil change, tire rotation, and basic maintenance. And it gets worse. I also needed the lug-nut key replaced because the last time I brought my vehicle to Frontier Toyota, the key was not returned to me after service. Now I'm driving around with a missing lug nut, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about how my vehicle was handled during my previous visit. This experience was beyond disappointing. Acting like you care about your customers and actually showing that you care are two completely different things. Today, Frontier Toyota showed me that my time and my business were not a priority. I expect management to take responsibility for this situation and make it right. Given the inconvenience, the wasted time, the previous issue with my lug-nut key, and the fact that my vehicle wasn't even touched after waiting over two hours, I believe the appropriate resolution is a brand-new five-year warranty covering the basic services on my vehicle. I have given Frontier Toyota my business, and I expect better. I am extremely disappointed, and I will absolutely be reconsidering where I take my vehicle for service in the future.

Embarrassingly enough, while I was on my way there, I realized that I was actually purchasing the manual version of the GR86 Premium I had been searching for over the past several weeks. Up until that moment, I had only ever driven automatic cars and was specifically searching for an automatic GR86 Premium. Not only did they beat every written offer I had received, but they also allowed me to complete a pre-purchase inspection, taught me how to drive manual, and even had their wonderful porter drive me home afterward. I wish I could give 5/5 stars, but unfortunately, they fell short on their promise to remove the black tar(?) stuck to the back of my car before we drove off. I'd especially like to recognize the people below who helped me throughout the experience: Cody - Not only did he continue teaching me how to drive manual, but he also drove me home for 2 hours from 10 PM-12 AM! He is one of the most genuine and kind people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kelly - The definition of personable. She not only taught me how to drive manual, but also taught me a lot about myself. I wish she were my aunt. Ashley - The salesperson assigned to me. She was communicative and transparent throughout the entire process. Mr. C - His enthusiasm truly shined through. His service is impeccable. Chris - Competitively beat my written offers with a smile on his face. Mike - Explained every single detail about finances and the world of manual sports cars. Really fun to talk to! A dream experience for my dream car!

Avoid Mazda of Valencia at all costs…read more I had a 1:00 p.m. appointment on 7/26 after multiple calls and texts with Romero regarding a Mazda CX-50 Preferred. Romero presented himself as though he were handling the sale, but upon arrival, I learned his role was apparently to call prospective customers, quote preliminary deals, and entice them into the dealership. I drove from Los Angeles after confirming the pricing. Once there, the numbers were materially different, and the two vehicles I was told would be washed and ready were both dirty. We were also passed among several employees and repeatedly had to explain what had already been discussed. The entire process was disorganized and poorly managed. Around 2:30 p.m., General Sales Manager JT Taylor, also known as John, entered the conversation with what he called the final offer. I showed him my text exchanges with Romero, and JT pulled out his phone and photographed my screen to capture the messages. Despite seeing what had been represented, he returned with numbers that were nowhere close. At that point, I understood that no deal would be reached and was prepared to leave. I calmly stated that this was the classic dealership experience I intentionally avoid, which is why I used brokers for my last three vehicle leases. I specifically explained that my frustration was with the overall experience and was not directed at JT personally. Nevertheless, he became defensive, raised his voice, and refused to de-escalate despite my repeatedly asking and gesturing for him to calm down. He then announced that he was "ex-military" and that he "doesn't get down like this." I am still unsure whether that was intended to address the pricing discrepancy, intimidate me, or demonstrate a very large ego with very little managerial judgment. Whatever the intention, it was inappropriate and remarkably unprofessional. The most absurd part came when I asked for his business card. JT repeatedly responded, "Nah, it's okay," because he believed I would leave a negative review. I requested it three times, and he only provided it after another employee intervened. For context, I have worked in financial services for nearly two decades across retail, private, and investment banking, serving clients from all walks of life. I cannot imagine refusing to provide a client with my business card because I feared negative feedback--or one of the associates I lead doing so without serious repercussions. This was not an inexperienced employee having an awkward moment. This was the General Sales Manager displaying hostility, poor judgment, and an apparent fear of accountability. A business card is not permission to leave a review, and hiding it does not prevent a customer from documenting an experience. After his repeated refusals, I recorded the interaction, including him saying, "Nah, it's okay." I also have the text exchanges, call records, and supporting documentation. Mazda Corporate has opened a formal case, and I will provide them with the full record. We also had an appointment at the neighboring Kia dealership, but two Mazda employees told us both locations were under the same ownership. After this experience, we skipped that appointment rather than risk encountering the same lack of training, professionalism, and accountability. JT Taylor, respectfully, if you are comfortable invoking your military background during a disagreement but frightened by a Yelp review, customer-facing management may be the wrong profession. Reviews are not threats; they reflect the service provided. I have leased two Mazdas over the past ten years, and this was easily my worst dealership experience. Save yourself the drive and aggravation. Professional management addresses concerns--it does not raise its voice, make intimidating remarks, and hide business cards.

It took three calls before anyone would even escalate the issue to a manager riestrada@tesla.com…read more When we finally reached one, the response was dismissive: we were told the order "processes immediately," that plenty of customers who ordered at 11:50pm on the 15th got the incentive, and that in their years at Tesla they'd never seen a delayed confirmation. Except our own order confirmation didn't arrive until three days after we placed the order -- directly contradicting what we were told. If there's a system delay on Tesla's end, customers shouldn't be the ones penalized for it. At minimum, Tesla should be upfront that promotions require ordering several days in advance, or through a live person, rather than letting the app accept an order and deposit and then quietly failing to honor the terms. Aside from this, we're happy with the vehicle itself. But this experience has made us far more cautious about ordering from Tesla when we were told it would be fine. Tesla should make this right. They can see all search history in the ap, but as a consumer you cannot, they want proof that we don't have. Balls in their court.

Followed the typical buying conversations (Down payment, interest rates, finance, etc). Worked with Mario in Finance for the final stages of the purchase. In general the experience was solid, yet still pushy in some instances but that's expected in any dealer car purchase. The only feedback I could think of was focused on minimizing the time spent in the physical dealership. Especially after already deciding on the purchase and driving from 50+ miles away. Total time spent onsite was roughly 2.5 hours, which i thought was on the excessive side. I understand they want to be in front of potential buyers, but in an increasingly online world folks will want that flexibility.

5-Star Experience at Subaru of Valencia!…read more After having some frustrating experiences at other dealerships, our experience at Subaru of Valencia was completely different. From the moment we walked in, Taylor McEneaney approached my wife, my daughter, and me with kindness and respect. He immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable. What I appreciated most about Taylor was that he took his time with us and never made us feel pressured. We first test drove a Certified 2025 Forester, and Taylor rode along with us, answered our questions, and was very informative without being pushy. We then drove a new 2026 Forester, and once again, he was patient, respectful, and helpful throughout the entire process. What stood out the most was Taylor's transparency. He was real, honest, and down to earth. My daughter, my wife, and I all felt very comfortable working with him, and that says a lot after some of the experiences we had elsewhere. Taylor also really pulled through for us and worked hard to help us get a great deal. We genuinely felt that he was working with us, not just trying to sell us a vehicle. A big thank you as well to Phil, the Desk Manager, Jeromy in Finance, and the entire Subaru of Valencia team. Everyone was friendly and professional. I also appreciated how clean, peaceful, and comfortable the dealership was. It had a welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. Thank you, Taylor, for making us feel at home and treating my family with respect. We had a great experience, and when I'm ready to get my next vehicle, I'll definitely be coming back to see you! Highly recommend Taylor McEneaney and the team at Subaru of Valencia!

Instead of taking accountability for the incorrect diagnosis and charges, I felt dismissed, talked down to, and bullied. I brought my concerns directly to the manager and explained how uncomfortable and insulted I felt, but nothing meaningful was done to address the situation or the behavior of the service advisor. He asked me to send a video, which I did that same day. He said he would show it to the tech and foreman. This was on July 7th, 2026. On July 8th, 2026, I followed up to confirm the video had gone through. On July 10th, 2026, I followed up again to ask whether the tech or foreman had reviewed it. I received no response the following week. On July 23rd, 2026, I reached out again, noting I hadn't heard back and asking if he'd had a chance to speak with the foreman. Our review is for the service department at Kia Valencia…read more My Kia Optima Hybrid 2020 broke down near here on July 15th with an HEV warning message. They had my car for almost a week while we continued on our anniversary in a rental car. We came back, picked up the car and headed home. It died on us again 40 minutes up the road, with the same error message. Apparently the Kia service department was unable to fix the error in that week they had it and sent us home (home is 4 hours away). We were stranded for the next night because it was close to closing by the time we got towed to them again. We had to get a hotel nearby. The next day we called and text multiple times but no one replied at the dealership. We tried several prompts on the phone system but no one would pick up. We ended up spending $40 round trip on a few Ubers to get to the dealership to get an update on my car, in hopes of going home. They hadn't even looked at it!!! They said they were short staffed and would look at it the next day... We were forced to get another night at this local hotel. The next day they advised us that it was going to be a bigger issue and they needed to get a technician to come from out of town the following week and they opened an engineering ticket. We already spent 5 days on a rental car, 3 nights at a hotel waiting for an update on the car, 2 tow trucks to kia, and 2 Ubers. We could not wait the whole weekend and into next week for a potential update. We had already missed 3 days of work as well beyond our scheduled vacation. We had to get home. The Kia dealership had no loaner vehicles to offer while my car was being worked on so we had to rent another car out of pocket. We had to take another Uber to enterprise to get a car and we finally headed home. We were very cordial up to this point and understanding. We were just ready to go home. The saga has continued ever since and gotten worse! It's been over 2 months and Kia has been awful to deal with. I feel it's been easy to brush us off because we are out of site out of mind. We are physically 4 hours away. They don't answer their phones so we were just emailing Alex back and forth from the service department. They still have my car and I have zero idea when I'll get it back. It's been an exhausting ordeal. I've been struggling to get any actual help from them. My husband and I call every few days into Customer Care to try get approval for a rental car so I can get some normalcy back into my life. It's affecting my job. I don't have reliable transportation. I keep trying to get rides from various people but I've had to call in sick a few days due to not having means to get to work. I'm so sick of them not handling the situation. I feel like they stole my car honestly. I still pay my $350 car payment every month though which is also frustrating, along with my car insurance. It's absolutely ridiculous that they can't figure this out. It's a 2020. It's not that old of a vehicle. At this point, it feels like a defect in that model and I think they should trade it in for a different one for me. Just give me a car that works! I worry it's a Lemon, even though it's passed the Lemon Law. I am seeking legal counsel as my next step because we escalated it already and were told they would reach out to us. Kia Valencia service department does not answer their phones at all! Not even for Customer Care or for Kia Corporate! And we found out that they never even filed that engineering ticket over 2 months ago that they told us they did! If you can avoid going to this dealership, I highly recommend it. We had no choice because we broke down here and thought the dealership would be the best place to take it. Wrong! We regret it ever day! I noticed that they have about a dozen one star reviews on yelp as well, just in the past 2 months, since we have been dealing with them, so that tells me a lot. We are not alone in dealing with their terrible customer service. I'll update my review if/when I get my car back for those of you that took the time to read this short story.
