I want to start by saying how pissed off, frustrated, and disappointed I am with the customer service I received at Frontier Toyota today. I brought my vehicle in at 11:00 AM for an oil change, tire rotation, and basic service. I was told it would take approximately two hours. At 1:10 PM, I asked for an update because I needed to leave by 2:00 PM to pick up my child from school. What happened next was extremely frustrating. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply asking where my vehicle was. Raymond, the technician I was dealing with, wasn't even in his office. I then had to wait for Jack to get off the phone so he could help me. Jack walked through the garage twice looking for my vehicle and couldn't find it. He eventually went looking for the mechanics and lead technician, only to find out they were at lunch. At this point, all I cared about was getting my vehicle back so I could pick up my child. Jack eventually found the vehicle and brought it around for me. Then came the part that absolutely infuriated me: after waiting more than two hours, I was told that THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED SERVICING MY VEHICLE. I had given up two hours of my day off for what should have been a simple, routine service. This wasn't some complicated repair. This was an oil change, tire rotation, and basic maintenance. And it gets worse. I also needed the lug-nut key replaced because the last time I brought my vehicle to Frontier Toyota, the key was not returned to me after service. Now I'm driving around with a missing lug nut, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about how my vehicle was handled during my previous visit. This experience was beyond disappointing. Acting like you care about your customers and actually showing that you care are two completely different things. Today, Frontier Toyota showed me that my time and my business were not a priority. I expect management to take responsibility for this situation and make it right. Given the inconvenience, the wasted time, the previous issue with my lug-nut key, and the fact that my vehicle wasn't even touched after waiting over two hours, I believe the appropriate resolution is a brand-new five-year warranty covering the basic services on my vehicle. I have given Frontier Toyota my business, and I expect better. I am extremely disappointed, and I will absolutely be reconsidering where I take my vehicle for service in the future. read more

Frontier Toyota - Car Dealers Near Me - Valencia, California

### 1-Star Review -- Extremely Disappointing Experience I have owned and driven my Camry for **9 years**, and I know how this car normally drives. I brought it to this Toyota dealership for routine maintenance and a **fuel induction cleaning**, expecting the vehicle to come back in the same or better condition. Instead, I got the complete opposite. Immediately after the fuel induction cleaning, the vehicle began behaving differently. When I removed my foot from the accelerator, the RPM would briefly rise and the engine would sound different. Shortly afterward, the Check Engine light came on. I had the vehicle scanned and it showed **P0128, P0300, P0303, and P0304**, including misfires on cylinders 3 and 4. These were issues I did NOT have before bringing my car to this dealership. When I returned, even the service technician was surprised by what had happened. I was later told that, apparently, it can rarely happen that a vehicle requires **recalibration after a fuel induction cleaning**. They performed a recalibration and told me the issue was fixed. It wasn't. The car still does not drive the way it did before the service. The RPM now drops noticeably faster when I release the accelerator even while the transmission is still in Drive. I have driven this car for nine years, and I know what normal feels like. When I went back and explained this, I was simply told that it was "normal." Now the **P0128 code is still present**, and instead of taking responsibility for the problems that appeared immediately after their service, I am being asked to pay another **$200** to replace a component that I believe was damaged or affected during the service. This is completely unacceptable. I brought my car to a **Toyota dealership specifically because I trusted Toyota technicians to take care of it properly**. Instead, I left with new problems, cylinder misfire codes, a Check Engine light, abnormal driving behavior, and an additional repair bill. The documentation and service history clearly establish the condition of the vehicle before the fuel induction service and the problems that appeared afterward. At this point, I have **zero confidence in this dealership's workmanship or willingness to take responsibility for problems that occur after their service**. I will **NOT be returning to this dealership**. I am also **disputing the charge for the fuel induction cleaning with my credit card/bank** because I paid for a service that was followed by significant vehicle problems that did not exist beforehand, and the dealership has failed to adequately resolve them. A Toyota dealership should leave your vehicle in better condition--not give it back with new problems and then tell you that those problems are "normal" or ask you to pay additional money to address them. **Extremely disappointing experience. 1 star only because zero stars isn't an option.** read more

I expected much better from this dealership. When I bought my car, I was told it came with 3 full service appointments. Now, when I tried to schedule one, I was told it's only for tire rotations. That's a huge difference from what I was promised during the sale. It feels like they say whatever they need to make the sale, then change the story afterward. If you're buying a car here, make sure you get every promise in writing because verbal commitments apparently don't mean much. Very disappointed with the lack of honesty and transparency. I won't be recommending this dealership to anyone. read more

I just ppurchased 2 new Camrys from Frontier Toyota and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Chris and Bien provided outstanding VIP service from beginning to end and worked very hard to get us an amazing deal. What truly makes a dealership special is not just the cars -- it's the people. Chris and Bien were professional, honest, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy every step of the way. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. If you are in the market for a new Toyota, I highly recommend reaching out to Chris and Bien at Frontier Toyota. You will be treated with respect and taken care of the right way. I would like to express my gratitude to Raymond Smith for his work! He is a very pleasant, smiling, kind young man who goes above and beyond just doing his job. He is always ready to listen, give advice, and help out, no matter what questions I have. Thank you so much again for everything, and I wish him all the best! read more

HONESTLY IM FURIOUS. Yesterday I went in to get my car tinted. The deal I made when I purchased my vehicle with my husband was for the car to have full tint. I got to the dealership at 9am which was my appointment time. My husband told the women in charge of the tint we wanted limo tint all around. At this point while I'm waiting I go get break fast with my dad and daughter. I get a call from the dealership and they tell me what tint I'm going to want like if they didn't already know. At this point it's 11. I got shit to do. I told them when is the car going to be ready they tell me at 3pm. They said they were not able to get me a rental , or uber me home. So mind you I spent 6 hours trying to entertain a toddler at the mall spent 300$, on top of that they tell me I have to pay for the front two windows which was 140. Do not buy from here I'm so sick and tired of these places always trying to sell you a car and never holding up their end of the bargain. I hate this place now. Do not buy from here. read more

Was there for an oil change on my 2024 Venza, received a message that it was 'critical' to have an alignment. I decided to decline, mainly because I was not having any issues with the alignment. I took my car to a private mechanic, who actually evaluated the alignment, and it was fine. I called Frontier back to ask for the alignment report that shows it needed the alignment and was told they did not do one and it's based of mileage. So if they say something is 'critical' get a second opinion. read more

Waited a month or so before I actually wrote a review. My dad purchased a certified pre-owned camry here and his sales guy was Bien. He was nice enough. But with any car sales man, they do promise a lot of things and say yes to everything until you drive off and then everything's forgotten. The one star is for him. The -4 stars is for the finance/loan guy. Here was my check in tip: Harry Ogtanyan is a racist just putting it out there. Please ask for someone else to do your finance documents. This guy will try to sell you everything and then treat you like dirt if you say no. No professionalism at all, just pure greed. Disgusting human being. I had to leave for a 15-20 minutes to go home and get my dad's spare key since he wad also trading in his old car. When I got back, Mr. Ogtanyan asked me questions about the gap insurance, extended warranty, etc, which I politely declined. That's when I noticed that my dad was visibly upset because apparently, he was already asked those questions and had also declined. So this amazing loan guy responded with "well, it's in case you don't understand." Now that's disrespectful and just plain asshole behavior. He assumed that because my dad was a little older and is Asian, that he would not understand, even if he had already said no. So anyway, I don't know what else to say. I wish we had to more time to drive around different dealerships instead of just going to this place and buying right away. The manager in charge of the preowned sales was also not the most welcoming. We shared out concerns and it was just brushed off. read more

I have to do this again, this time with the sales person. We were trying to take out a lease on a vehicle and we had been quoted a price with down payment. We couldn't go in so we wee getting quotes over the phone but then we were told that the car had been sold then we were called back saying the previous customers didn't qualify. But when he called back he raised the monthly pmt and the down payment to an outrageous amount this guy was T Nguyen . We told him to forget about it that they were a rip off. So this morning we ended up at Toyota of North Hollywood and we got an amazing deal and they were great and very friendly. We went home driving a beautiful Toyota Camry SE for 425 a month when he was trying to sell us an LE for more than 425 pmt and the down payment he wanted was almost 6k and we got the SE premium with 4k down. We will never come to Frontier Toyota again. Bye! read more

I was charged $1281 in labor for my car being dropped off 3 hours 46 minutes, please see attached receipt. I came in to have my battery replaced and agreed to having various filters cleaned upon their suggestion. They finished this work quickly and I picked up my car, shocked by a $1593.71 bill for a battery + filters. Additionally I had asked if they could hid my dash cam wires. They did not do this but I went to access footage from my dash cam which I needed and they TURNED MY DASH CAM OFF. The last piece of footage is them turning it off - it's been turned off ever since, and I was unaware. It would be on but not recording, a setting they changed. I also let them know that my phone was no longer connecting to my car, and they told me they reset the electrical. They did not. Nothing was reset, all previous settings were the same and the Bluetooth still does not work. I have been going here for years, and also bought my car here and I will never be back. This was the last straw in being treated poorly. This just doesn't sit right. Three and a half hours of labor, a battery and filters = $1,593? Come on. I did go right over to the manger and asked why I was charged for more time than my car was actually there and he said multiple men were working on my car at the same time. Really? That was needed to clean filters and swap a battery? This place is a scam and I will go elsewhere. read more

I bought my Toyota sienna from Frontier Toyota. I spent nine hours dealing with games and deception. It was the worst car buying experience I have ever had in my entire life. Unfortunately I'm tethered to getting it repaired there and of course there were lots of repairs on a 2025 vehicle which is crazy. My first experience was dealing with a guy named Carlos who was the most condescending insulting disrespectful person I have ever encountered in my entire life. He does it in a very subtle way and creatively makes you feel like a complete idiot. Which I believe is his intention. He questioned how many miles I had put on the car stopped me as I was making my list of Repair request and questioned everything I said. It is truly bizarre that they keep him in this position I would fire him immediately. I know it's not personal because here it is four months later he didn't even know who I was and I didn't realize it was him on the phone and he did exactly the same thing as he did before. I shouldn't have all these problems with such an expensive car but if you do you would think that they would at least take care of them. My car has been in the shop for two days now and all they've done is fix a bolt. I asked repeatedly for a rental because these are manufacturer a warranty defects to no avail. I am so fed up I am absolutely trading my car for an entirely different make and model. I am literally willing to take a $10,000 hit in order to never have to deal with these people again. I must say the service manager is a very nice man however I question why he keeps people that behave like this and are so incompetent in his employee. I am so angry and frustrated with this experience. Even my trade-in they lied to me and told me that it wasn't worth anything only to find out that they pretty much stole $9000 from me. I will never ever buy a Toyota again!! but having said that if you are bent on buying a Toyota I'm sure there are good dealerships just don't go to this one and save yourself the nightmare. read more

We purchased a used Toyota Corolla Cross XLE on June 16. The buying experience with Marlin was excellent while we were at the dealership, but unfortunately that positive experience ended once the paperwork was signed. When we finalized the purchase, we were told that within about a week they would either receive the second key fob from the previous owner or have one available for us. Because we live about an hour away, we were also told our gas tank would be filled when we returned so we would not be making the trip back for nothing. Since June 16, we have made repeated attempts to contact Marlin through the dealership's front desk, his office, and even the cell phone number he personally provided us. Despite multiple messages and attempts to reach him, we did not receive a single returned call. More than a month later, we finally had to return to the dealership in person to get answers. At that point, we were told they had attempted to contact the previous owner regarding the second key. While we appreciate that effort, what is frustrating is that nobody ever contacted us to provide an update. We were left without any information despite repeatedly trying to get answers ourselves. The used car manager told us we would need to make another trip to have a new key made. We understand that situations happen, but the lack of communication throughout this process has been unacceptable. We were also told that the gas tank promise could only be handled by Marlin, but after weeks of trying to contact him, there has been no resolution. The most disappointing part of this experience is not even the key or the gas--it is the complete lack of communication and follow-through after the sale. A dealership's responsibility does not end once the paperwork is signed. Customers deserve returned calls, accurate updates, and someone willing to take responsibility when promises are made. The initial sales experience was great, but the post-sale customer service has been extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are considering purchasing a vehicle here. read more

Review is on the service department. I have brought my care here twice and both times, getting ahold of a service advisor that belongs to your car is impossible!! (I think that's stupid i should be able to talk to anyone!) The first time i went they said car would be ready at 3:30, time came and went never received a call. Finally got a hold of the service advisor and he was like, i called you, your car was ready early because we didn't have the parts. That was a lie because i had no call or text on my phone! This last time my car was promised at 2:30. I was told i would receive a call. I called and called and the service advisor never answered my phone call!! I talked to the receptionist and she couldn't give me a status update on my car whether it was ready or not, i had to talk to the advisor.... Well sweetheart you see i would, EXCEPT I CANNOT GET A HOLD OF HIM!!! It keeps going to voicemail! I just want my car! The people are nice, i mean they're salesmen's they have to be, but the quality of service is deplorable. I cannot believe i cannot get a simple yes or no answer for whether or not my car is ready to be picked up. read more

I know dealerships generally get a bad rep. But, Frontier Toyota is the epitome of the stereotype. I've been coming here for a few years because it is the only Toyota dealership in the Santa Clarita Valley. They consistently engage in the unethical practice of dealer markups, inflating the cost of vehicles beyond MSRP. At the same time, the dealership consistently under values trade-ins, or used car purchases. They pay you less and charge you more. However, this review is about the service department. Nickel and dimeing does not adequately describe the ethos of this service department. Their hourly rate would make some attorneys blush and even a simple matter of plugging in a computer to change a software setting- an act that would take five minutes or less- will cost you $100. The service reps care not for your safety or the functioning of the vehicle, but focus solely on protecting the dealership and charging as much money as they can. Every conversation is an upsell. I asked the mechanics to plug in their computer to turn off the automatic function of the daytime running lights. My headlights are malfunctioning to where when I turn off my headlights, the signal from the automatic daytime running lights, makes my headlights flash as though I had turned on the hazards. The solution to this is merely to shut off the automatic daytime running lights. The mechanics here refused to do so, and told me that California law did not allow them to turn off the automatic function. I did my own research, which indicated that there is no law in California requiring that the daytime running lights turn on automatically when the headlights are off. The mechanic has full authority to fulfill my request with no legal repercussion. However, because the dealership cares more about its own liability and cares nothing about the safety of the vehicle that I'm driving, the dealership refused to take the one minute it would cost to turn off this function so that I can properly use my headlights. The service advisor instead encouraged me to take matters into my own hands, knowing that there is no do-it-yourself solution. He literally encouraged me to tamper with the wiring myself. This service center knowingly sent me home with an unsafe, malfunctioning vehicle knowing it had the exclusive software that could fix the issue. This abuse is why right-to-repair laws are so important. This is the final straw. Never coming back here. read more

When my favorite service guy John F moved from another Toyota dealer i came here for all my Camry and Tundra needs . Great service thx John

If you need maintenance do a drive to another location. I have never been left so high and dry like this dealership left me. Took my car in at 11:00 AM, 30 minutes sooner than my scheduled appointment! This was a recall thing that I was told multiple times would be quick because it was just a program update but would be max 4 hours. Its almost 6 PM no one is answering im stuck at work and my house key is on my car keys. I am so livid if I could afford to trade in my Toyota for literally any other car I would just so I don't have to deal with the incompetent people here! Oh and the bs online tracking of your vehicle is just as half a$$ed as the actual staff (which according to the link) that JUST BARELY STARTED WORKING on my car at 5:30 PM!!! read more

AVOID TOYOTA OF FRONTIER AT ALL COSTS If you value your safety, your money, and even a shred of respect as a customer -- DO NOT set foot in Toyota of Frontier. I have video proof showing exactly how this dealership operates: * They flat-out REFUSED my 15,000-mile scheduled maintenance -- a basic warranty service. * They REFUSED to accept my Toyota Tundra 2024 for warranty repairs despite ongoing, documented safety system malfunctions. * They REFUSED any diagnosis, even though the issues were confirmed in previous visits. * And finally, they THREW ME OUT of their property like I was trespassing -- simply because I dared to demand the service Toyota promised when I bought the truck. Let's be crystal clear: this is not "bad customer service" -- this is fraud, breach of warranty, and a blatant disregard for driver and passenger safety. Toyota of Frontier had multiple prior attempts to fix my safety issues and door panel rattling. At first, they admitted the problems. Then they started denying them. Then they simply shut the doors in my face. What's even worse -- Toyota corporate does NOTHING. They protect these scammy dealers instead of protecting the people who trusted their brand with tens of thousands of dollars. Translation: If your Toyota becomes unsafe, they will stall, deny, and push you away until you give up -- because they don't care about you. This dealership is a disgrace. Toyota, as a brand, is a disgrace. They gamble with people's lives while hiding behind their "warranty" marketing lies. The video of their refusal and kicking me off the lot is attached to this review. Watch it and decide if you want to risk your family's safety with a company like this. TOYOTA OF FRONTIER = ZERO INTEGRITY, ZERO HONOR, ZERO CUSTOMER CARE. TOYOTA AS A BRAND = SAFETY NIGHTMARE WAITING TO HAPPEN. read more

Anas is the man. Thanks for making this deal easy. I recommend this dealership over others In The area. 2nd Tacoma I've bought here.

This place has gone down hill since new ownership took over a few years back. I have purchased no less than a dozen cars here over the last 30 years but never again. The service dept has always been poorly run but now it's just pathetic. Over 4 hours just to get an oil change. Plus, the service tech tried to charge me for it when I already have a prepaid service plan. Then seemed annoyed when I pointed that out. His response was "oh I didn't notice that" after that it was just attitude and poor communication. I tried calling the service writer for an update after about two hours with no response. Phone just goes to voice mail and I can see him just sitting in his office with no one in there and phone on the receiver. There is no longer any one at the cashier counter and reception seems annoyed to be asked any questions, then just refers you to service writer who is now nowhere to be found. So after four hours I find my service writer and ask if he has an ETA. His response is "it will be done in about 30 min". Then about 5 min later I get a text that technician has just started inspection. About 20 minutes later I get a very thorough video from tech explaining findings. Some that definitely need addressed. Followed up by a text that my car is ready about 10 min after that. I go back to my service writers desk and he says your car is ready. Doesn't bother to go over inspection results or offer to fix any of the items that need attention. I've been getting my other cars serviced out at Ventura Toyota for the last few years out of convenience and have been very satisfied with that team. Always greeted and made to feel welcome. Carlo my service writer takes the time to explain things and seems to take a genuine interest in my needs and safety. Now that I've been to the Ventura dealership I realize how bad this place really is. I will never come back to Frontier Toyota again and I own four Toyotas all purchased here. read more

I love Toyota especially Frontier because they are an honest company. I'm disappointed though in the sales person, Sebastian that took the order for my new Rav 4. It had been 3 months and my car still had not come in and I was getting really frustrated. Sebastian unbeknownst to me drove up to Anaheim and found a car like the one I ordered. It had 30 miles on it. When I ordered my car I had said that I wanted no more then 6 miles on it and he reassured me that there would be no more than 2 mikes. Now the fact that the car had 30 miles already on it meant they either had a salesman drive it back & forth to work or they had people test driving it. By the time he drove it down there was now 80 mikes on it. He said I got you a car like the one you ordered. Now it wasn't like the one I ordered because it cost me more money. Then he quickly had me walk around the car to see if there was damage. It was late afternoon and the Sun was almost down and it was in the shade. So I take the car and the next day it is in my driveway in the sun. I look down towards the bottom on the passengers side in the back because it looks like a bump. Well there were 3 bumps and you only noticed them in the sun. I took my car in and the service guy said yes they would fix it for free but it had to go through Valerie. She only works during the week. We had many many family health problems during that time and I'd forget about it until I'd see it in the sun. Valerie said it was up to Sebastian so we went in to see him. Sebastian said he checked out the entire car and there were no bumps. I told him he must have missed them because of the shade. He told me no way. I said to him that he was saying he was perfect and never made a mistake . Basically that's what he said. I told him he was calling me a liar. He said he could not authorize it. I told him I bought the film to go on the car to keep from scratches and I thought bumps. I got no where with him. I'll be buying my two daughters 2 more cars in the next 4 months but Sebastian will not be my salesperson. I might not even use the same dealership. I had them on a pedestal & now I'm so disappointed and wish I had refused to get the car with 80 miles on it. It's not as if it would be a hardship on Toyota. Here's the thing, Sebastian drove my car 80 miles and I drove it 5 miles so who was more likely to get the dents? read more

Every interaction here has been bad. The salesman lied about being able to have someone deliver my car to my home (3 miles away), so instead I had to drive back to pick my car up. He forgot to include the charging cable so I had to come back for that. And he didn't tell me anything about having to unlock the car before removing the charging cable. He literally didn't care about anything once the car was sold. When I came to buy out my lease the salesperson assigned to me kept making mistakes in the buyout amount. And then I had to wait an hour to speak to a rude finance guy who rushed me through signing. He wanted me to sign papers he didn't even show me. He gave me some paperwork in Spanish and got annoyed when I wanted to see it in English. Then he wanted me to sign a paper saying everything I received was in English. They forgot to reset the service light when they did maintenance. Also I show up to maintenance and just have to wander around bc no one's there as a greeter and everyone else is avoiding eye contact. My service plans aren't showing up now that I bought out my lease. Basically everything here has sucked and I hate coming here. They also forgot to call me when my car was ready. Of course. I expect nothing more. My car's ok so far. read more

This review is strictly based off my experience from the finance manager. 5 stars for the sales team!! 1 star for Vito the finance manager. I've been a loyal customer of Toyota of Valencia (Frontier Toyota) for years and have purchased four vehicles from this dealership. I've always had good experiences, until now. During my most recent purchase, I dealt with Vito Ohanesian, the finance manager, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I made it very clear that I did not want any add-ons or extras after we agreed on the final price of the car. Vito assured me everything was set and even said he was including GAP insurance for free. After reviewing my contract later, I discovered that all the add-ons were still included at full price, despite our agreement. When I confronted him, he claimed there was nothing he could do which was untrue, as the sales manager later confirmed there were options and personally apologized for Vito's actions. Vito pretended not to know what was happening, but as a finance manager, he clearly did. This was dishonest and unacceptable, especially toward a long-time loyal customer. He came across as friendly and trustworthy, but it was just a front. Avoid this guy or make sure to read every word in your contact thoroughly and don't believe "free" because once you catch that nothing was free he retracts his statement and does not add it as "free" Buyers, please double-check every page before signing anything here.
