Liberty mutual informed me that this small claim could raise my rates Ok no problem I will pay for the service call myself UNTIL WOW 953. 57 cents for 1.30 hour of work at most this did not even include patching the wall or putting the two cabinets back sure for another $350 they would patch the wall and put the cabinets back which would take maybe 2 hours? (Paul Davis words) how is this for reasoning? The gentleman that came to get the check for payment told me this... This amount is what he would charge the insurance company so that is what he is charging me real nice right? no break for the small consumer. I should have known they were up to ripping me off when the girl on the phone repeatedly told me make sure I have a check to pay them. Well folks this is why our insurance rates are so high ... The guy who picked up the check ;I thought maybe it was just a worker for the company nope it was the owner. I asked him for an itemized receipt which he could not give me after he took the check said I would be mailed one? What type of company does not carry a receipt book with them? Got another estimate for the same job 350 for everything and I explained what had happened. They too said oh wow sorry that is a way too high price.
