No way.). I also try to support locally owned & operated businesses when I can and when I saw Neshoff's statement of being in Pittsburgh for "Over 30 years" I figured I'd give them a try. They worked with me and my schedule, and the tchnican called about 30 minutes before he showed up (exactly on time!). My elderly parent's carpets were pretty dirty and they had a lot of pet stains and coffee stains, but he was able to get them looking a LOT better in a shot amount of time. The technician explained that there were certain stains that he wouldn't be able to get out completely, but the carpets look a LOT better than they did when he started. We also had some great conversations about my mother's geneaology efforts and skateboarding, and.... Definitely a good company to do business with!!!

He used a very good machine with good water lift and a quality wand, the tool that cleans and rinses the carpet. He found a small area of my carpet where there was excessive cleaning chemical residue and spent extra time rinsing that out of the carpet. The residue he got out was probably from a time when I removed some spots myself and did not rinse the carpet properly afterwards. Geno worked hard and knew what he was doing. He impressed me as an honest contractora nd explained things well before he got started. I plan to have him back to do more work and would recommend him. One last thing, I felt that he charged me a reasonable price.

I used this company for a several times in the past with their previous owner. Requested the…read moreservice a few days ago and the new owner came to clean my carpet. He refused to move ANY furniture since his insurance does not allow to move anything. I had to bring two other guys to move everything, otherwise the carpet would be cleaned ONLY in the spaces without furniture. There was some dust in the hallway and the owner told me "SOMEONE has to vacuum clean the area to get the dust out". So, I had to bring my vacuum cleaner and work with the company. Unfortunately carpet had to be cleaned yesterday, otherwise I would ask them to leave. As the owner stated "most of our clients don't ask us to move anything". So, as a result, I had to pay two more people to make sure that my carpet is cleaned properly. Not sure how they could get on Angie list. My two helpers were shocked with their attitude and explanation that their insurance would not allow them to move a chair, small dresser or even the bed frame without the mattress. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone who would like to get the good cleaning of the carpet.

I needed the carpets cleaned…read morein a rental house that I had recently vacated, and he was able to fit me into his schedule very quickly, which I appreciated. His price, which was $320 with tax, was comparable to some other companies I had called. (2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, 2 hallways, and 1 flight of stairs.) I don't have much experience with carpet cleaning, as you'll be able to tell by reading this review. I feel like I didn't ask the right questions. There was a stain in the living room carpet, which he was unable to remove, but I had a feeling it wouldn't come out, and I'm sure he tried his best. I don't even know what it's from, except normal wear and tear and dirt from my shoes because it's in front of where my favorite chair used to be. I think he did a decent job on the carpets, overall. BUT...I didn't realize that the carpet cleaner he used would have such a STRONG ODOR to it! It had some type of strong perfume smell, which really, seriously bothers me! I'm so glad I no longer live there because I would be losing my mind if I had to smell that smell all the time. I have been going back to the rental house every day this week, doing some final cleaning, and moving out some last items, and the smell is still there...many days later. (UPDATE: One week later I can still smell the carpet cleaner perfume smell in the air when I enter the house.) If you're NOT sensitive to smells, then this won't be a problem for you. But if you have bad allergies and/or you are hypersensitive to smells, like me, then you will NOT want this carpet cleaning product used in your home. But this is a problem that might just be my own. I'm allergic to perfume, and I buy unscented products as much as possible. It never even occurred to me that carpet cleaners would leave a smell in the air for many days afterward. I imagine it will dissipate over time. But I'm SO GLAD that I no longer live there because I would be miserable. Also, I asked him if he would be vacuuming the carpets before cleaning them, and he said it wasn't necessary because his carpet cleaning machine has more powerful suction than any vacuum cleaner would have. (And I had already vacuumed all the carpets myself before he came, but I was just curious because I thought maybe he would have some industrial vacuum cleaner that would be more powerful than a home vacuum.) Anyway, a couple days later, I decided to vacuum the carpets one more time, to leave the rental house looking as good as humanly possible, and I was surprised at how much stuff I could hear getting sucked into the vacuum! It just struck me as odd because if his machine had done such a great job of suctioning out all the dirt, I expected not to hear anything at all. But instead, I was hearing a lot of stuff getting sucked up. So I had to wonder if there was some type of residue left behind. At any rate, the owner was extremely nice and friendly, and he seemed to do a decent job in general, but I was underwhelmed with the results, and I personally would not hire him again, mainly because of the strong perfume smell from the carpet cleaning product he used. But I should have asked him about it beforehand, so that's on me. And if you're not sensitive to smells, then it probably won't bother you. If you need your carpets cleaned in a hurry, and you're not bothered by strong perfume smells, then he might work out great for you. But if you're sensitive to smells, like me, then you might want to look elsewhere.

He reviewed the charges with up front. He immediately got to work and was done very shortly after. Granted, I didn't have a typical job. I hired them to remove a stain that was left by a moving company. I was very pleased with the overall service that was provided and the results. They where able to get a small oil stain out of a white carpet. I would definitely recommend this company!!

The price was AMAZING. The two gentlemen who cleaned were INCREDIBLY RESPECTFUL, PROFESSIONAL, and KIND. They called to say they were heading to my house and were here by 11am and out by 11:30am. Crazy how fast it took. Granted we have carpet in only the upstairs 3 bedrooms, hallway and staircase. The guys were nice and I honestly don't remember the carpet cleaner smelling as good this time as the last time we got it done (from another company). Plus, I also think the last company we used didn't get some major stains out, and these guys did... Which is most important, if you ask me! The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I wish the price would have been a little clearer. I know it can't be a science not knowing exact measurements, but I told the woman I had an entire carpeted upstairs with three rooms and a staircase she quoted about $180. It ended up being $207 with a hallway and an extra step on our staircase not being included in the quote, plus tax! Potentially on me that I assumed the hallway would be included, but bummer that it cost a bit more than I originally thought. Overall good experience and I'd book them again!

For the Pittsburgh area, both Clean Interiors and Northside Carpet Cleaning were booked, which were recommended by my handyman, so I went to the yellow pages to find this company. Now, I must admit, I can't speak about the 100% guarantee, as I never really inquired about it. I simply hired another company, and they did a good job on the late notice for a comparable price.
