I spent the first 6 months or so just buying up whatever flash sale available and refusing to "commit" to the monthly membership.... I finally did it because WHY WOULDN'T I?!?! I LOVE the red light therapy, the cryotherapy, the compressions and the IV therapy is an absolute must! I strongly suggest everyone give them a visit and see what YOU love about them! ;)

Such a nice wellness facility for IV drip and a complimentary cryogenic treatment. Such nice staff and nurse. Would highly recommend this clean and well organized business

Normally, customers are not allowed to bring electronics and devices past a certain point because the whole concept of the bathhouse is to unwind and step away from the busyness of everyday life. It it absolutely necessary to do so at times and this place truly helps to relax and reset. Urban baths Folsom is the first franchise offshoot from the popular Asha Urban Baths in Sacramento (which is also a great place but that's for another review). Guests check in and go into a coed changing area to lock up their belongings and change into something comfortable (swimsuit or another water outfit). Shoes are provided, towels can be rented for a nominal price. Once changed, with all electronics squared away, one may then enter the bathhouse. The main room is wheelchair accessible and contains both a massive warming pool and a smaller pool to the side that's much colder. The idea is to repeat a process that is proven to be very beneficial for the body--soak in the warming pool, sweat in either the steam room (pictured while it is off, but this room gets VERY steamy) or the sauna (smells so good in there!), and then cold plunge in the cold pool. Guests can repeat the process as many times as they would like. There are showers for rinsing off sweat before going back into the pools so if a cold plunge isn't your thing, you can turn the shower water a bit cooler and rinse off that way too. There are also lounge chairs and big bean bag chairs for people to sit in and converse in library-appropriate voices. The bathhouse isn't the only activity. There is also a sound immersion or a salt lounge experience. I've done the salt lounge and it's a very relaxing 45 minute session with two hour access to the bathhouse after. There's also a massage experience one can book--again, the bathhouse is there for once the session is over. I personally love this place. The staff are so friendly and the aesthetic really does make a person feel they have stepped away from the world for a time. I like being disconnected from my phone. The water temp is always perfect for me. The scents and the music and the ambience are just what I need to get away. It's great knowing such a nice, female-owned gem is only just down the road for me to visit whenever I feel life becoming too overbearing.

She also started 15 mins late and didn't extend our time so I only got a 35 min massage when I paid for 50 mins. Nobody acknowledged my concerns either.

Lifetime Folsom is not a gym... it's a full-blown civilization…read more Met a friend here for a workout, and since she's not a member, we had to do the whole guest pass process first. You know... the "tap here, sign here, acknowledge that squats may humble you today" routine. But I've got to give credit where it's due -- the front desk made it ridiculously easy. They were handling a phone call and getting my friend squared away at the same time, and somehow still made it all look smooth. No chaos, no confusion, no "uhhh let me get my manager." Just straight-up professionalism. The second we walked in, she looked around and said, "Is this a city or a gym?" I said, "Honestly... both." Because Lifetime Folsom is not for the weak or the directionally challenged. This place has everything. Pool, spa, cafe, workout floors, recovery zones, pickleball, tennis, locker rooms that feel fancier than some apartments... at one point I'm pretty sure if you turn the wrong corner you accidentally enroll in a wellness retreat. And my favorite part? The confidence people have before a workout. She came out of the locker room with that movie trailer energy like, "Alright, let's do this." Looking at me like, "Bring it." And I did. I coached her through the workout, and for the first 20 minutes she was hanging in there strong. Then somewhere around that 1 hour and 30 minute mark, the spirit left the body. By the end, the look had changed from "I got this" to "I would like to formally unsubscribe." And honestly? Respect. Because the workout was solid. We laughed the whole time, had great conversation, and got after it. That's what I love about Lifetime -- whether you're going hard or just trying to survive the stair climber without seeing your ancestors, it somehow still feels fun. After we wrapped up, we grabbed our stuff and headed to the cafe because recovery was no longer optional. She needed a pick-me-up, and honestly, probably a new set of legs. We grabbed shakes, sat down, and started coming back to life. Then out of nowhere she goes, "Ummm... tacos?" And I looked at her like she had just spoken the Lord's language and said, "Yes." Then she hits me with, "I got the spot. Follow me." Now THAT is elite leadership. So basically this place gave us: a killer workout, laughs, smoothies, and the launching point for Taco Tuesday. What more do you want from a gym? A zip code? Actually... Lifetime might already have one. In all, Lifetime Folsom continues to prove it's way more than just a gym. It's an experience. It's a fitness amusement park. It's where confidence goes to get tested and where post-workout taco plans are born. And honestly... that's beautiful.

Wow wow wow but yet they were more than willing to give me the membership for $202 a month wow. I'm 65 I don't work I have retirement income that's it I finally get to enjoy a membership at a club that I think would be worth my time and I know a lot of people that would be willing to be paid members but they don't want me. Wow I've never felt so discriminated against because of my age and not wanting to pay when I finally get a free deal. I would hope to think that they would get something from the Medicare Advantage plan I was partnered with. So anyway if you're 65 plus don't go there because they don't want you.

Upon arrival, we were directed to a very small locker room. From what I recall, there were no locks on the doors, which made the space feel less private and secure while changing. I want to recognize the massage therapists and estheticians, as they were exceptional. They were welcoming, professional, and provided excellent service. They were truly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. When we booked the spa package, we were not informed that the relaxation area was an open space located in the lobby with only room dividers for separation. We had expected a private relaxation room, so the open layout was surprising and did not provide the peaceful atmosphere we anticipated. Additionally, no one explained which amenities were included in our package upon arrival. There was a red light therapy room adjacent to the relaxation area, and we mistakenly assumed it was included. A front desk employee responded by raising her voice and informing us that it required an additional fee. A brief explanation of the available amenities and package inclusions at check-in would have prevented this misunderstanding and created a much more positive experience. The refreshments also felt underwhelming for a spa package, consisting of packaged Costco madeleines, Lindor chocolates, and lemon water that was described as infused water. Finally, the relaxation area itself was quite small, with only two spa chairs, a table, and two couches. It did not appear to comfortably accommodate a group of up to ten people. Overall, while the massage therapists and estheticians provided outstanding care, the lack of communication regarding the spa package, the limited and public relaxation space, and the unprofessional interaction with the front desk staff significantly impacted our experience. With clearer communication, improved customer service, and more accurate expectations of the group amenities, the experience could be greatly enhanced.

I am writing to share feedback regarding my experience at your facility. While the quality of your…read moreequipment is excellent and the 24-hour access is highly convenient, the current training environment presents significant challenges due to inadequate climate control.Given the premium membership rates, the lack of active air conditioning is a notable concern. This issue is compounded by the fact that the ceiling fan remotes are inaccessible, and the industrial floor fans remain locked in a storage room. Currently, the only operational fan is positioned by the front desk rather than on the training floor where members are actively exercising. To maintain a safe and productive environment, a facility must offer adequate ventilation regardless of outdoor temperatures. The lack of airflow forces members to take excessive breaks and crowded around the front desk to cool down. This directly hinders athletic performance, prevents members from reaching their training goals, and raises concerns regarding heat safety.I value this gym and the community here, but proper ventilation is essential for high-intensity training. Unlocking the available floor fans and ensuring the ceiling fans are operational would immediately improve the member experience and justify the membership pricing.Thank you for your time, attention to this matter, and your commitment to maintaining a high-quality facility. I look forward to seeing these adjustments implemented.
