I had been a loyal member here for over a year and had always trusted this place...until a recent experience that sent me to the emergency room. During my visit, a nurse administered a medication improperly, and I experienced an immediate and severe reaction that genuinely felt life-threatening. Since then, I have required follow-up care with both a cardiologist and a neurologist due to ongoing symptoms. What is just as concerning as the incident itself is how it was handled afterward. There has been no meaningful accountability, no support, and no effort to ensure my well-being. I felt completely dismissed. As a healthcare professional myself, this experience was deeply alarming. Patients trust that they are in safe, competent hands and in this case, that trust was broken. I can no longer recommend this establishment and would advise you to look elsewhere for these types of services. I can give 0 star for the experience I had today. I booked an appointment for hyperbaric therapy at 1pm today and I waited an hour and 15 mins, the front desk ppl kept telling me to wait more time and said sorry about me waiting here. This place is terrible at time management. Go tell your customer to schedule another time in 15 mins if you can't make it instead of letting me wait for such a long time. You wasted me 75 mins and expected me to come back again? HELL NO! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, go find another place for better services! read more

One of my favorite places in the city. I work by Chelsea, so I always stop by for a quick freeze. On Groupon they have a promo of 5 or 6 sessions for $108. If you show them the Groupon they will match the price as the Groupon is only valid in the UES location. They take walk ins and you can get treated right away. The staff is friendly and hospitable. You can adjust the fans and length in the cryotherapy chamber, and play your favorite music. It's an easy process that takes less than 5 min to go in and out in a busy schedule! I am big fan of this place. I mainly use my membership for whole-body cryotherapy. Rarely do I have to wait and the staff has always been very friendly with me... They finally may know me by name now after a year so I appreciate that. I have gotten a few IVs - once it was amazing once it was ok. The workers are sweet. I did compression on my legs. At first I was skeptical. Is this going to help my legs it's kind of sore and the compression keeps pushing on my legs and it hurts a little everytime the machine squeezes. I did 30 minutes though the full session is 1 hour. And once I left I felt all the tension on my legs left and felt so much lighter. Next time I'll try the the red light therapy or oxygen chamber. Thanks girls and guys!! read more

I went in for my first IV for some bad dehydration. I came on time and was treated late, and had to leave 90 mins after my arrival for work. I only got 1/4 of the drip bag in my arm and was still charged for the full amount of the service. When I pushed back I was greeted with a lot of attitude. I was told that since I got a booster in my bag, that was "the expensive part" and the saline was cheap. Then why does a basic saline bag cost the same as one of the "upgraded" IV bags? Went to Restore Hyper wellness after a long day at work and had the Normatec compression session on my legs. It lasted about 20 minutes and the intensity was great. It was my first time trying it and I will def be coming back. I instantly felt better. I had major aches in my legs and this helped so much. Sadly I actually like the staff there , but as I put my membership on hold for traveling they reinstated it even if I told them I was not back in town for another 8 months " small writing in contract " BEWARE even though I had spend several 1000' $ and I was not given back my credit for Cryo I canceled as I read it was dangerous. Super sad that the manegar is such a small minded and rude person simply stole my money that I had in credit and refused any flexibility or costumer service , yeah not restored I would maybe call this place . I went to the infrared sauna at Restore and sadly had a bad experience. I have been using the infrared sauna for years, but sadly my regular place shut down during COVID. The sauna at Restore is really bad- it is not hot enough. I barely sweat. Additionally, you can't control the colored lights. I left the sauna feeling no difference, no sweat....when I usually can barely put my clothes on because of how hot I am. Also, I usually feel great after the sauna. Because Restore's was not hot, I felt nothing, no difference. I said something to the guy and he acknowledged the issue but still made me pay. Extremely disappointed and won't be back. read more

I sadly have to be "that person" and write this review. I went in today for an IV treatment to help manage symptoms of multiple autoimmune diseases. I realize this is also a spa and not entirely "medical" but being immunocompromised and with news of the Delta variant, despite being vaccinated I try to be careful and I understand that masks are not mandatory but was a little surprised to see most staff not wearing them since it is somewhat medical and treating ppl with medical conditions. Not the biggest deal, I am most put off by an interaction with the woman who administered my IV. The man working the front desk sneezed so I moved to another area since he was not masked. When the woman came over to administer my IV I mentioned it and she became oddly defensive (all I said is I moved bc I was uncomfortable bc he sneezed and I have a compromised immune system, hence why I was there for an IV that is specifically used to treat autoimmune symptoms). She replied "well, what do you want him to do, not sneeze??" in a fairly hostile tone. Um no, I understand ppl sneeze, but perhaps in a setting where you have some ppl seeking "wellness" which would imply at least some are not entirely healthy, even if you just have allergies, it would be polite to wear a mask. She then proceeded with "Was he sneezing a lot? He can't not sneeze". I felt her responses were aggressive and disrespectful, on the occasion I have asked anyone in a customer service-based environment to wear a mask or that I feel uncomfortable by something, they have obliged and been polite (and that is WITHOUT knowing my medical issues, she was aware). I'm not even saying I insist they wear masks, but simply mentioned it bc it made me nervous given my current state. Instead of saying something like "oh, we're all vaccinated", or "I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable but I'm sure it's fine", I got what I got. I am quite unwell at the moment and didn't have the energy to argue and I felt strange having to stay there for an hour for the treatment. She was fine the rest of the time there but it really just ruined the experience and made me feel uncomfortable. Her attitude more than the sneeze. read more
