Do not waste your money. with in a year my couch was totally stained and the back pillows were as round as footballs. Mr. Bingles has managed to begin removing one of the sides of the chairs and it's a tricky upolstery job. I haven't found anyone who can do it yet. They are way overpriced. I would recommend Lovesac. their couches and chairs are more comfortable, can even have storage, i have washed the covers w no problem & you can buy new covers anytime you want if you get bored. A tad overpriced... and their furniture doesn't wear well. I've bought pieces for myself and recently my designer did for some clients and they aren't happy. After a brief period they look. To start, the ubiquitous "The Cloud" sofa looks like The Lump after awhile no avoiding it. And while their outdoor furnishings look fabulous you need to keep them indoors or they get ruined; they claim it's all the local weather that wears down the teak... but here in CR where it's heat and rain teak is the wood of choice. My Shagreen desk also has begun to wear away at the edges discoloring :/. My desk chair has casters but does not roll... they sent a medic but no solution to the casters, which are ruining my 1934 Italian tiled floors. Ambitious showrooms they call "galleries", and Ceo/Guru Gary's monochrome approach to decor works for a lot of people who can't work with color. But beyond the marketing, glorious repurposed grandiose showrooms, they really are not the quality one expects for luxury... I need it to be said, along with others who reviewed here: the customer service in their Aventura showroom is rude and uncomfortable to witness. Their sales team have drunk the Gary Friedman Koolaid. I sent my designer to shop there and she was mortified at their attitude. Which is why I'm writing this review. A friend called it the rooms-to-go for the rich. It's having it's hey day but not sure how long it will last. Should have listened to previous reviews. I visited this location today and the sales associate never made an effort to greet me or see how he could be of assistance. I was in the store for at least 15 minutes and passed by him multiple times. This was at 11am when the store opened, four people came in during the time I was there. Walked into RH yesterday with the hopes of buying a sofa. Greeted at the door by Pierce all decked out in his fancy blue 3 piece suit with red pocket handkerchief and crisp white open collared shirt. I on the other hand refused to wear my Rolex or matching "Keep up with the ambiance"'attire. Figured it was Sunday and it would be ok to dress down. Boy oh boy was I ever wrong. After spending no more than 5 minutes with me and my family, we were quickly dismissed to a subordinate of comparable ethnicity. So so sad that in these times there is still this glaring visual judgment of status merely on exterior superficial looks. Had this "High on His horse"'salesman taken just a little bit of interest in my business we would have not only enjoyed our experience at RH but also would have happily purchased a sofa we drove almost an hour to see. This sadly has left an irreparable image of RH and I have ZERO desire at this point to spend another minute on RH after this post. Ps. TRAIN YOUR EE!! And remind him who pays his salary! read more

This is the most incompetent restoration hardware I've ever been too. At the stores in Chicago and NYC they have there act together. Not the case here. One of the employees, a short blond dude, was playing with a spinning toy when I walked in, he didn't say hi or ask if I needed help.... you can't make this stuff up. I was in the store for a good 15 minutes before anyone asked me if I needed anything. By that point I had found what I wanted, gotten out my phone, and ordered from the website. I find it ridiculous that such poor customer service exists at a store where the price point is so high. They need to clean their act up. read more

Wow! So very much disappointed...Love the furniture, but the customer service was beyond terrible. We came in to buy a hefty amount of furniture for our new home, and yet waited for a good 30 min to be even acknowledged. We came in on a Fri at about 12:30pm, not a busy time at all, and yet could not get anyone to pay any attention to us, not even to greet us. All employees were just sitting around on their computers ignoring us. And we were there with a baby, so clearly noticeable! Even when we asked for help, letting them know that we are serious buyers and members, it took a good 20 minutes to get someone to help us. We had to ask several times! Finally once a designer came, she was nice, but by that point we were quite frustrated, and wanted to just get it over with. Made the process easy and I walked away confident I had received what I went in for. -1* bc when I asked the woman who greeted me about a very specific piece and gave her the name she didn't know what it was... which isn't it her job to know what she's selling and where on the floor it is? Karloz rodriguez I recommend not buying in this store, the worst shopping experience of my life, more than a month ago I made a purchase of a piece of furniture of almost $ 20,000 in this store and my experience has been horrible, they had many terrors when placing the order, I have I made calls to the store and they answered me by telephone in a bad way, disrespecting me when I hung up the call and telling me to call customer service, the first problem I received an email specifying the order and one of two equal items are charging me at a higher price and leaves with another delivery date of weeks apart when it was the same purchase and special order, second problem the seller offered me a delivery of 3 to 4 weeks with estimated date which they do not intend to meet, I have made multiple calls to Attention to the client which I have lost more than an hour of my time in each call and they never give me a concrete answer of when my furniture will arrive, in each call they give me a different story, I told myself In which part of the order is it that they will send it to me and they do not comply with me, then they tell me that it was a problem with my card which I called my bank and there is no problem that they have never tried to debit, in another call I They say that they are going to send them to me this week, in another call they tell me that they are not going to send me until another month, they are an irresponsible company without seriousness and they do not comply, they play with the client and their time, they have no organization, until today after a month and a half of my purchase I still do not have a delivery date, please RH if anyone cares I need my furniture, it does not seem fair to me to have to call you should you as a company try to communicate with the customer and keep him informed of his mistakes, my saleswoman gemma disregarded the problem and there is no follow-up, from the heart the worst experience of my life in a purchase I hope they fulfill me! read more

Customer service? Non-existent at the Aventura location. Associates just sit on their laptops and if you ask a question, you're definitely intruding on their internet surfing time. After researching chairs online I went to the store to see them live. I knew 10x more about the options for the 4K chairs than the employees. Seriously? I decided to purchase the kensington Sofa 2 months ago. They have private sales all the time. You just have to subscribe and you will get the emails. Usually 20% off. Like aI said ALL THE TIME. I picked the sofa online, created my account and split the payment on 2 credit cards. Total was $3,600. They sent me an email explaining that my order was not going to be sent because there was a problem with my credit cards. I looked at my statements and I clearly see the charges. I call my credit cards (Citi and Bank of America) and bith tell me that they don't know what Restoration Hardware is talking about. They were paid. I call Restoration Hardware and explain the situation, and they tell me that on "their system" it shows as declined. She asks if she can cancel the first payment and do it again. I think sure that sounds logic. 4 days later I checked my credit card to notice I have been double charge. And the next days I received yet another email from Restoration Hardware letting me know my order will be canceled if I didn't pay???!!! WTF!!!! I called my credit cards and they called Restoration Hardware and we were put on conference call. The lady from Citibank explained to the RH representative that they had authorization numbers for those charges. That the charges were cleared many days ago. Eventually after many many emails, many many phone calls. I received my sofa. It came with one leg misplaced. Again many many phone calls, promises from supervisors to follow up on things and calls back that were never kept. I had to tip the delivery guys 3 times at the end of this whole deal. I had to take time out of my busy schedule many many times. For a freaking sofa.... Their Customer service and organization skills are awful! The sales people at Aventura are obnoxious. Not all of them. Mostly the guys. If you are willing to buy from them, be willing to deal with alot of drama and cancellations, phone calls, emails, double charges. It seems to be the normal way of doing business if you read other reviews of them online. read more

We were convinced that we would be successful in using your design service from within but we soon found out this was not the case. We approached the table to request some help with purchasing furniture for our new Miami Beach condo residence and was greeted coldly by the lady who told us she was the project designer (Christine) She sat behind the little desk and to our surprise she told us that she was unable to help us unless we had closing documentation for our condo. We informed her that we are ready to pay cash today for our purchase and we would have no problem storing our furniture if our apartment was not yet finished in time of delivery, but she still insisted that she could not help us. Frustrated My husband, myself, and my mother-in-law started to walk around to try to do it ourselves because neither the project designer nor the other gentleman offered to even help us begin to make selections or give us suggestions. We brought in the proper floor plan and lay out of our apartment and was ready to make a purchase that day for or 1300 sq foot interior and 700 sq foot exterior patio. Instead we left unsatisfied, discouraged, and definitely not happy. Having purchased previously from your company for our last project in Miami Beach 4 months or so prior and had no problem, this response and customer service or lack there of was not what we had expected. Therefore, we opted to use our own designer and friend for our entire project and will not be returning to this location EVER again. The design team at the West Palm location is a better choice or so I've heard but it's a shame we have to drive an extra hour to receive the customer service we deserve. We will still be purchasing furniture from your company and only because we love your designs and quality goods; if only I could say the same for your staff. The chilling tone and unprofessional attitude from your project designer and no eagerness to even give us a tour of the show room floor was the worst display of service in sales we have ever seen. Had Christine been welcoming and available to show us around and do her job she would have been looking at a nice big purchase for this particular location and we would have gladly used her in the future. If this is the type of staff you have representing your brand you can only hope that the quality of goods withstand other companies who give both excellent quality in goods AND services. I strongly advise you to find a more friendly, professional, ambitious project designer for this location because at this rate you will continue to lose business. Zero stars. read more

This place needs to get their act together! We have a trade account and have placed several online orders with the Aventura showroom, and everyyyyyyyyy single time, without fail, Restoration Hardware always manages to screw our order up! This last order though, has been a complete nightmare. We placed an order for 6 pillow inserts on March 21st, and we have yet to receive them! And the story continues to change daily..First they had the wrong shipping address, then it was the incorrect billing address, then they claimed that it shipped, and got returned back to them. Mind you, they've NEVER once called to follow up or request additional information from us. We've had to harass them each and every day just to hear whatever excuse they come up with next. And the worst part, is that they're not even apologetic or considerate about it. The sales woman who we've been dealing with has a really nasty attitude problem, and acts as if she's doing us a favor by taking our phone calls. I just want to get my pillows and be done with this place. Their customer service is nowhere near up to par with the type of clientele they're trying to appeal to. read more

The worst customer service experience ever. I wanted to order custom drapes, and let's be clear, nothing at RH is cheap. I picked out everything once entering the store, I already knew what I wanted so they didn't have to do anything. Two months later I still didn't have drapes hung and asked for a full refund. I had to continually follow up with them, they outsource all the work to vendors and they don't communicate within their internal staff, to their vendors or to the customer. I had to do all the work. They charged my American Express the full charge, the vendor they used cut the drapes incorrectly and then it was days before the UPS even came to my house to pick up the drapes to resize. Josh was rude and dismissive - and for some strange reason, he kept repeating he was from New York as though this made him more intelligent. I Just purchased my second home in Miami Beach and heard of this store from a few friends that have had their homes furnished with Restoration Hardware. I walked in and was greeted by a very sweet girl. She then asked me if I had any questions and I told her I wanted to decorate my home with with some of the furinture pieces I had saw online. She then informed me that they have Designers that will design my entire home. I met with their designer Rigo who came to my home and looked over my floor plans for spacing. Within that week he had a whole presentation ready for me and I was very pleased with how beautiful my home was going to look once it was furnished. I received my furinture yesterday and was amazed of how beautiful the out come was. The designer also came to my home the day of delivery to make sure the furniture and art pieces I ordered were placed in the correct rooms of my home by the delivery agents. In February I plan to do my pool area and sun deck with Restoration Hardware. I was very pleased with the service I was given at this store and my home is beautiful. read more
