I made my anxiety problems very well known and no one judged me or looked at me in a bad way. I have to say that from start to end I was very pleased with the service I received. I wish I would have found them sooner. I had to get my molar extracted and I was in a panic. The assistant was caring (made me feel safe) and the doctor was gentle every step of the way. I didn't feel a thing. He injected novacaine and I felt nothing. Before pulling my teeth he tested the area, I felt a little bit of pain and he put numb it some more. I felt nothing. The molar was out before I knew it. AMAZING!! I am not one to write reviews, but I had to let everyone know that I was going back and forth about taking a valium or nitrous and I didn't need either. I would highly recommend this dentist to all my friends. I even got an appointment for my son because he will be a patient as well. He was also honest and not trying to take my money and their prices are super reasonable. I went to another dentist in Clermont and they weren't honest and were trying to upcharge everything. Dr. Haidar was upfront and when I told him some of the things that they wanted to do to me at the other dentist, he told me there was no need, he'd just be taking my money if he did the procedure. They assigned a lovely girl named Linette (spelling ?) to me. I was apprehensive at first due to her young age but her technical ability, sensitivity, and most charming personality disarmed and put me at ease immediately. She was so easy to talk to and we had a lot in common. I hope that she knows what a pleasure it was to meet such a talented girl and almost wish that I needed more work just to be near her again. The process took 2 hours and we had to return several times to get it fixed. The dentist was clearly annoyed that we kept returning to fix his incompetence. Just note, however, that they do NOT guarantee cleaning at time of the first exam with rays, so you probably have to come back a 2nd time for the cleaning. The staff listened to my problems and helped provide solutions (like using a bite guard during exam to help with my TMJ pain and coming early for my filling to allow extra time for the pain medicine to work). I was able to get all of my procedures scheduled for the weeks following my visit (instead of 2-3 months out like at other places). Brenda and Dr. Gonzalez are the absolute best!

They asked when my last cleaning was, and I told them it had been about eight months ago and that everything was fine. They also asked if I had any concerns, and I said no--I just needed a regular cleaning. They started by taking X-rays and performing other exams. At the end, they told me I needed to replace two fillings and get a deep cleaning. At no point have those fillings caused me any pain or discomfort. They then handed me a treatment plan divided into two phases. The first phase was a deep cleaning for $216, and the second phase was replacing the two fillings for $890. I told them I would at least like to have a regular cleaning, but they said they couldn't do that and that I had to get the deep cleaning instead. I ended up leaving without having anything done. It also felt like they were annoyed when they asked if I wanted to schedule appointments for both phases and I said no. The whole experience felt like a scam, as if they were just trying to get more money out of me. I'm very upset because now I have to wait until next year to find a different dental insurance plan so I can get my cleaning done by another dentist. I would not recommend this place at all.

I asked the front desk if this would be a covered procedure through my insurance and they advised it would not be, so I paid CASH ($1826.00). They did say that they could try to file it with my insurance and if anything was covered, I would receive a refund check, most likely from the practice. I agreed and had the treatment completed by Dr. Ryan Brennan, which was 5 stars and I am very happy with. Three weeks post procedure, I receive a bill from Advanced Endodontics (AE) for $21, which is listed as Intraoral Periapical First Film (i.e.: x-ray), which I already paid my CASH price of $149.00 -for an Oral Eval which included an x-ray, (which is what the front desk told me was going to occur). When I called to inquire with Leslie in Billing at AE, she first informs me with no hesitation that she sees the charge and has no idea what the $21.00 is for and doesn't understand why I was charged. She placed me on hold to check with the front desk. When she returned to the phone, she advised me that because they (AE) filed with my insurance to see if anything was covered, I had to pay $21. She said if they had not submitted it to my insurance then I would not have had to pay because I was a CASH payer. Nobody up to today ever told me there was a fee to submit the bill to my insurance and why AE would show it as an x-ray charge only shows that they are attempting to cover or hide the fees for the erroneous $21 charge. On my original procedure / payment receipt there is no indication of a pending charge, outstanding balance or stipulation for a charge to file with my insurance. She (Leslie) informed me if I didn't pay the $21 it would be sent to collections. This is very wrong in so many ways. She said information, or lack of, about a charge is not the responsibility of the front desk job, so regardless, I must pay. She said it is a legal contractual agreement with my insurance that I must pay. The most concerning point is AE attempting to cover the cost of the insurance submission as an x-ray charge, which is bordering on billing fraud. I guess to top it off was her dismissive attitude during the conversation on the phone. This $21 charge is not going to change my life, but now it's all about principle: Advanced Endodontics billing procedures, what is being told at the front desk, the treatment on the phone by Leslie and the way it was billed as an x-ray. This seems to be a way to charge customers for manipulated charges and billing irregularities.
