I have called Citrus Tower Family Dental several times, talking to the "office manager" repeatedly about receiving a credit for the balance of the $10,000 he paid in advance, as he did not finish his treatment plan. She kept telling me she is "looking into it and will get back to me." No return call from her was ever received. After a month of waiting for some kind of response, I finally went in-person to their location in Clermont. The girls behind the counter had no idea how to help me and went to talk to the office manager. After waiting 30 minutes, the "office manager" finally came out and gave me the same runaround again; I'm researching that, etc. Still waiting 45 minutes later and No Answer as to what credit is due me. After putting me off for the third time, I directly asked the "office manager" how hard is it to print out his account and give it to me? She told me refunds are handled by their corporate office in another state. I asked for their number and after first refusing she finally, FINALLY gave me the corporate number and a printout of the refund due as I requested. No wonder she was balking at helping me; the refund due was almost $5,000! Thank God the person at their corporate office was willing and able to help me finally get this resolved. She apologized profusely for the lack of customer service I had received, promised to get my refund sent out as soon as possible, and gave me her direct number to reach her if I didnt receive it within two weeks. She was very compassionate and empathetic of our situation. I can't vouch for the care you get from the dental staff, but I can say that the office staff is Clueless re: customer service! The corporate office agreed I should have never had to go through this to get a refund that was due me. I was apprehensive at first due to her young age but her technical ability, sensitivity, and most charming personality disarmed and put me at ease immediately. Just note, however, that they do NOT guarantee cleaning at time of the first exam with rays, so you probably have to come back a 2nd time for the cleaning. The staff listened to my problems and helped provide solutions (like using a bite guard during exam to help with my TMJ pain and coming early for my filling to allow extra time for the pain medicine to work). I was able to get all of my procedures scheduled for the weeks following my visit (instead of 2-3 months out like at other places). Brenda and Dr. Gonzalez are the absolute best!

They asked when my last cleaning was, and I told them it had been about eight months ago and that everything was fine. They also asked if I had any concerns, and I said no--I just needed a regular cleaning. They started by taking X-rays and performing other exams. At the end, they told me I needed to replace two fillings and get a deep cleaning. At no point have those fillings caused me any pain or discomfort. They then handed me a treatment plan divided into two phases. The first phase was a deep cleaning for $216, and the second phase was replacing the two fillings for $890. I told them I would at least like to have a regular cleaning, but they said they couldn't do that and that I had to get the deep cleaning instead. I ended up leaving without having anything done. It also felt like they were annoyed when they asked if I wanted to schedule appointments for both phases and I said no. The whole experience felt like a scam, as if they were just trying to get more money out of me. I'm very upset because now I have to wait until next year to find a different dental insurance plan so I can get my cleaning done by another dentist. I would not recommend this place at all.
