I went here before but It was a few years ago, they renovated ( don't know when ) and it looks…read morenice. Went for dinner and it has pretty much the same as "usual", I know that they do breakfast to but never went. I was kinda impressed, so all you can eat restaurants they make in big quantities and they taste so so, but here? The "Wong Tong" soup is so much better, they have like 5-6 types of sushi's ( not a lot ) but they are soooo good. They have a few / lot of things that are fried, tip: don't eat to much because it makes you "sick" after a while ( personnel experience ) I tried to eat not a lot but a little bit of everything. What they offer: -fried food -more "Asian" type of food, noodles and soups -soups -quite a few dessert types -salads / fruit bar -rice and medium "breakfast potatoes" And a whole lot more. Didn't take the best pictures, but at least you will have an idea how it looks like. I gave it 3 stars because it's a good restaurant, it just not a restaurant that I was "visually" impressed by. The food was amazing so 3/5 stars. My experience was great, just didn't based my review on my servers "humour" because she looked "annoyed / tired of working their" kinda face: but she did her job well. Gave us lots of water, took our dishes when we were done, yeah nice. Really recommend this place! I will certainly go more often and try the breakfast menu to next tim!

Service was great! Can't complain. The BYOW is still in effect so they come and open the bottle of wine you bring for you and bring out glasses. I just really am mixed .. the soups were cold as hell .. my miso soup was still cold. My food was bland and just mediocre .. sushi rice was a lil stale I was trying to revitalize it by dunking the crap out of it in Spicy mayo and soya sauce Lolol The kimchi was awful. But then they had delicious tender grilled chicken and delicious crispy shrimps so the food was mixed .. it felt weird because not everything was consistent. It was alright decent ish but what you expect for an AYCE .. I guess I was hoping it would live up or exceed to their old name. Changing owners definitely didn't serve this place justice. Not sure I'll be back maybe who knows lol Cheers

Good for a buffet, when you compare it to others; but don't expect greatness. Buffet des Continents…read moreis ideal for families or groups who wishes to have a access to large quantity of food for a budget price. The food itself is not fantastic and the large amount of seats and customers makes the place loud and hard to navigate. However, it does what it promises, tons of different cuisine under a same room for a small price. The food is often soggy, salty and sometimes overcooked, the drinks are nothing to rave about and the dessert station is often a mess. You get what you pay for. Compared to other restaurant of the same type, Buffet des continents is somewhat at the top, with a large number of staff, multiple counters where they serve pasta, pizza, sushi and breakfast food, lots of activities for children (face paint) and special events (ex. Mexican fiesta = nacho table). Perfect for kids and people not too picky about food and just want eat a lot. Otherwise pick another restaurant.

I haven't been to this chain in nearly a decade and my visit was to the one in Trois-Rivieres... so I kind-of knew what to expect but this place was PURE MADNESS. But over what??? I REALLY don't get it. The food is buffet style. The name fits. If you've been to something like "Le Mandarin" or "Fu Lam" you've already been here. There's a bigger selection of course but more things I wouldn't touch. Buffet style sushi? No thanks. Under-cooked roast beef? Not going to play the gastro lotto tonight. Canteen-style poutine? Is this really a thing? Am I some kind of savage? I ended up trying about 20 plates.... mostly taking a bite here and there after a decent-sized first plate. Most of the things I tried came well short of my expectation. Many plates were bland and were clearly prepped in huge batches to slop out to the massages elbowing each other for the scraps. Some sweet dishes weren't sweet but salty? Salty is a key thing. I was parched after I left. The experience, at least for me was one I don't plan to repeat any time soon. The pricing was $23 per person to which I feel is robbery. A few dollars more and I could have eaten at a number of other AYCE restos with considerably better food and without the busy hustling and bustling. The service? Overwhelmed and after quickly inquiring if I'd be ordering any extras (soda/beer) to which I said no became quite disinterested in our table. I had to remind her the 3rd time she passed by to refill our glasses. She was FAR more focused on letting us know, every 15 minutes like clock-work (with no water pitcher in hand), we had to leave by 7 PM. Not her fault of course but this place runs their clients on the clock and more clients sitting down and paying is more important than delivering a proper eating experience. Don't blame them. There were well over 100 people waiting for a table when I left. What is going on....... Hard pass going forward for me for this chain.

Day 8 of my penance, stuck here in the warehouse area of Montreal near the airport…read more Decided to finally try the breakfast here at the hotel. All in all not bad at all.. (hey it rhymes, how did I pull that off so easily lol) For 11.95 it was a pretty nice spread for a breakfast buffet especially when you concider that a ala cart meal is about the same price. One of the short comings of a breakfast buffet is the eggs. In this case they had some have decent cooked scrambled, which I abore bit I found out if you want made to order Sunnyside up and so forth, they are happy to make them for you no extra charge... wow really??? I almost fell over. They have a nice fruit station and also cereal and tea. Nice pastries and the bacon and sausages where really decent for a change. The only omplaints I have is the service can be a bit slow and they are not too at tentative to the bread station as it ran out of sliced bread and I never saw it refilled. I like the fact that you get a stainless coffee carafe on your table and it's it's a nice atmosphere.

I walked to dinner and sat facing the tropically landscaped large atrium like area of the hotel -- quite pleasant. As it turned out, the friendly bartender, whom I had met the night before, also was covering a couple of tables while tending bar. I had a soup that wasn't particularly memorable -- which is why I'm not telling what kind it was.....I don't remember... I also had a seafood Linguini that had a good assortment of sea critters in it, albeit very small pieces. It was a bit on the bland side for my taste, so I dumped a bunch of what appeared to be powdered Parmesan cheese. I prefer grated, but this was straight out of the Kraft can. Rodger, the friendly bartender kept my wine glass renewed and made good conversation. Bottom line, a solid 3 star experience bolstered by the glass of wine I was able to take back to my room!
