We came during the holiday season and it wasn't super busy around 10:30. We had a really waitress who was quick and great at her job. My plate was a normal price $10.95 which did come with toast and Creton which was not in the picture. My boyfriend for the steak wrap and he loved it. It's large and is very busy on weekends so go early! Inside, comfortable seating, lots of tables, nice service and a relatively large menu. Great eggs benedict options plus lots of great treats for kids. The place is ok/mediocre. A bit expensive for what you get - so you're mainly paying for the convenience of eating near shops in the shopping centre area. Important Tip: I highly recommend sharing plates here. I ordered the "Lumberjack" (I think that's the name) breakfast and it definitely feeds at least 2 adults. That explains the $15-16 price tag. This would have been enough for me, my 11yo, and my 2yo. But since I got kids meals for both of them, I paid over 40 bucks for the meal w tax and tip... pretty expensive for a "commodity breakfast"! In sum, I won't revisit. I'd prefer going to a GREAT breakfast place and pay 10-25% more for me and my family. I heard that Allô Mon Coco had good potatoes so that got my attention. We walked in on a Friday morning at 9:45 and were able to get seats right away. Normally, on weekends there are lineups. By the time we were done, at around 10:30, there were about a dozen people waiting in line to get a table! We ordered the Good Morning and the Coco Waffle De Luxe. They were right! The potatoes were real gooood. Something like refried potatoes cause it comes in a pile of semi mash which doesn't look appealing but taste great cause it has that fried potato taste. Apart from that, my scrambled eggs were kind of weird, stringy and greasy so it wasn't very impressed with that. The waffle was decent, a little "bready". It gets 4 stars from me because as a breakfast diner it matches up to my egg-spectations (egg-scuse the puns!). The place is bright and cheery and pretty spacious. Considering there's no other breakfast place nearby this one could stand to do well being literally next door to all the high-rise apartments. Sure, it's not the trendy, hipster place for breakfast but the convenient location makes up for it. The food is made quick and the portions are large enough to eat half and take the rest to go. A coffee or tea is included with every meal. Bring parents and kids to this place and it's fine. I personally find the red booth seats quite invigorating to look at and it just wakes you up after sitting a while. Breakfast wait staff tend to be quite pleasant I find, nothing to complain about on my first visit. read more

We went on the Thanksgiving Day so there's a line up but the turn over was pretty fast so we had our table within 15 minutes. We ordered the weekend special and the waitress was super friendly and attentive. She urges us to share one portion when we asked if that's enough since we always order too much for brunch and it ended up that the portion was just good and we didn't feel overeating. I've seen some reviews and frankly, I don't get them. If you're looking for a place for a coffee and a bagel this is not the place for you. But if you're fora big meal at a reasonable cost with children, friends or a big family I think this does the job very well. My son and I ordered smoothies that were both very good with eggs Benedict. The plates were big, we'll filled with very fresh fruits and awesome potatoes. Service was fast and good. We weren't in the busiest time of the day, but hey, go during low tides and all will be fine. I'm sure earlier in the morning things are rock and roll, but hats the price to pay. So all and all a good place for that "American oversized meal". And I don't mean that in a bad way. read more

Great place for breakfast if you have a big appetite! The service is good and make sure to use the benches that add comfort to your experience at this location. The food is really good with a lot of choices on the menu. The only reason it is not a 5 star is that I find that it is a bit pricey for what you get. When you order they also keep asking you for extras (like maple syrup for 2.95$). I would recommend this place to go once in a while for a big breakfast to start your day well. read more

We arrived with a party of 7 at noon today, waited for 30 minutes. When we arrived at our table, an argument broke out between two of the employees as to the availability of our table, and we were told that we would have to wait for an undetermined amount of time for another table. We then left, telling them that we would never return again to this disorganized, unfriendly and uncommunicative establishment. We then drove to nearby Eggsqui restaurant, where we were seated within 10 minutes, had great, very friendly service. read more

Both our plates were served with undersized portions (than the normal).?They forgot to add cheese (both plates) on the potatoes, she took the plates back added cheese (not melted). We take a bite into flat, dry, stale potatoes that we didn't touch for the rest of the meal. Advised the waitress it tasted really bad, she apologized and offered to change them, at this point we were so turned off with our meal. Cherry on the top is tht when we got the bill, I couldn't help but notice that they still charged the cheese for the untouched, inedible potatoes. LOL her answer was "I know, sorry." It's unfortunate that I have to leave a 1 star review. Location is great. Concept great. Prices not so great. However, this morning my brother and I went to enjoy a nice breakfast here deciding to pay a little more for convenience and instead, we are both are really sick still- 7 hours after the fact. We started having symptoms 10 minutes after leaving. We barely made it home to next city over and vomiting occured while driving... oh yes. Almost had accident on highway I didn't think we would make it home in our condition. Horrible. We ordered 2 eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, coffee and my brother ordered a pancake as second ingredient. Everything was extra greasy today especially the toast. The potatoes were different and not the usual as I had been here before. They were chunkier with no chives and I believe no bacon. Taste was fine but oil was pooling in plates. I think usually they are finely diced potatoes smashed with bacon and green onions like a hash on a flat grill. When I pressed fork on potatoes there was grease. Now if it was the coffee or grease on toast and eggs, we don't know. But coffee does not cause pain, sweats, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and gas on its own. Eggs, grease or bad sausages though or combination can. Our bodies rejected it quickly. If they don't use real butter or oil, then fats can't be absorbed and the body rejects them violently like taking laxative. Say if Crisco or low quality margarine is used it has a laxative effect. If my brother does not improve, off to ER for us tonight. What a horrible experience. Our day off, and it is ruined spent in a bathroom floor all plans cancelled. We will never set foot there again. I will never bring anyone out there again either. For those high prices only organic quality should be involved. It better not be cross contamination or sick employees handling the food.
