Definitely my kind of place. The chips came out hot and fresh (always a win), and the salsa was so good, super flavorful with just the right texture. We also tried the queso, and wow...creamy, rich, and loaded with toppings. My husband was obsessed. Service was ok. For the main dishes, I had the carne asada street tacos and he got enchiladas. Everything had really good flavor, seasoned well and clearly made fresh. My only small complaint was there was a bit too much onion on the tacos for my taste, but once I adjusted that, they were still delicious. The pico was bright and fresh, and I loved the little touches like the lime wedges and presentation. You can tell they care about flavor and authenticity. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and definitely a spot I'd come back to. If you love bold flavors and a lively, colorful setting, this place is worth checking out.

The decoration were tasteful and the seating was good. Now on to the best part... the food. The queso was some of the best I've had, it was so flavorful, the consistency was thicker than the normal broken ones, which I LOVED. The elotes were very yummy, I just wish they had more seasoning on them. I got the veggie fajitas and they had such a great mix of different veggies cooked to perfection, I ate the whole thing! My mom got the street taco sampler and she loved it, she didn't have to choose which single one she wanted and got to try everything. We will definitely be going back!!

The main issue here that lead me to review, my uncle and siblings came into town and thought this was a good place to take them to. We all got waters and in 3 out of 5 waters, there was a NYMPH ROACH in them. 3 nymph roaches total. The waiter offered to get us new waters but we all felt uncomfortable with that and paid extra for bottled water. Absolutely disgusted will never come here again.

The service we received was okay nothing special they didn't really create any conversation with us or anything I don't even think the lady serving us shared with us her name. The ambiance of the restaurant was good. It's a small hole in the wall place. They had wrestling on the tv and were playing music in Spanish for us to enjoy while we ate. I did notice that the ladies who were serving us were also cooking the food and that they weren't wearing hair nets while cooking. The chips served to us were over-fried so I'm assuming they were house made but they were hard and not very good. The plantain was just fried plantain nothing special. Both my mom and I ordered chicken enchiladas. I have never had enchiladas where the chicken was on the side. It was different but not bad. It wasn't my favorite but my mom really liked it. The enchiladas were filled with a cheese sauce and topped with lettuce and sour cream with beans, rice, and chicken on the side.

We skipped the beans and cilantro. And asked for no spice. Looks nothing like the pictures. Just a burrito stuffed with all white rice and chicken . Too much rice. Next time will skip the chicken. The pico de gallo was very good, but very small for the price $7 - for a third of a small container, maybe a couple of heaping tablespoons. Also very hot. The fish and shrimp fajita was good, but very expensive for what you got. The 2 enchiladas (1 beef, 1 cheese) with enchilada sauce was just ok. A strange orange color. Not a lot of flavor. Removing the beans doubled the rice, which was good but the rice was just good, nothing exciting. Overall, very expensive for underwhelming meals. We also found out they only use blue corn, which I have never come across at a restaurant before and I think we were all big fans of that! We had a table of four and ended up ordering esquites and guacamole as apps to share. The both came with warm, fresh blue corn perfectly salted chips. Everyone enjoyed both the dips. The corn in the esquites was a bit sweeter than I would have liked for a dip with chips. For our main dishes, two people ordered the chicken quesadilla and then two of us ordered 2 tacos each (octopus, blackened grouper, carne asada & sweet potato. The quesadillas were enjoyed. My friend really liked that the carne asada was petit filet; she also had the sweet potato taco and said it was well seasoned. I had the octopus and grouper. The octopus was good and thought it paired well with the napa cabbage, pico & micro cilantro. The grouper I was unfortunately not a fan of... It tasted fishy, which really took me by surprise. After tasting it, I had wished I would have chose the oxtail instead. I did really like that napa cabbage was used as a nice green crunch on some of the tacos rather than icky shredded iceberg! There is limited indoor seating; there are a few tables and a small bar. There is also outdoor seating. For the bathroom, you have to go around the restaurant to the back.
