After having a walk in the compact old town and a stroll along the (empty) Boardwalk we felt hungry and spotted this place. The weather was nice and our Bulldog welcome as well.
The items on the menu looked all really good. Ended up ordering a plate of Gambas a la plancha (grilled shrimp) and some cold foie gras with walnuts and jam.
The food was of a very high quality. Some of the best and freshest shrimp we've ever eaten. Only remember to have better ones than these once in our lives. Fresh, tender, sweet.
The Foie Gras was wonderful as well. Nice texture, home-made, fully made out of foie...no other fillers. Matched perfectly with the cherry jam and the walnuts. Melted in our mouths.
Fish and seafood on other tables looked tasty as well, but we had a big dinner waiting. But definitely a place to come back to. The town itself was deserted at that time during Covid-19, but this restaurant is worth a drive. Fair prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended! read more
