El Puertito is about the oysters. Fresh oysters, shucked to order. It's not a huge place and they don't have much on the menu other than oysters and a couple of beer taps and quite a few varieties of wine. That's okay. You're here for the oysters and that's what they do. Not cheap at a bit over €2 each, but worth it.

Stumbled upon this restaurant as we were ending our pintxos crawl for the night and couldn't resist going in. They are all about the fresh oysters and boy they are so good! The staff was very helpful, asked us what type of qualities and flavors we liked in our oysters, offered some suggestions and shucked them right there and then for us. We had three kinds of oysters, all French, all delicious. The oysters are not cheap but they are definitely worth the money. It was a nice, refreshing and different addition to our evening food escapade.

Except for the anchovies, that I took of not bad. Cheese has light goat cheese taste but not string like you're eating hay.

Michelin Star Rated Seafood:…read more Been traveling all over Spain and this is the first place in 7 days that actually knows what spices are and EXACTLY how to use them. The food is excellent, the service was welcoming (I believe the owner even helped us out), and the whole restaurant was calm with relaxing ambiance. 10/10 would go again and will recommend to all I can. Probably will have dinner again here every night until I leave in a week. A little pricey, but definitely not skimpy in any of the portion sizes. I recommend the soup starter, the prawns or clams as a main, and the rice pudding or Valencia to end. (Get a bottle of Santiago if you can too.)

I was looking for a place with a good fish soup and my hotel recommended this place. I went in with…read moreno reservations and got a table right away. The restaurant has a few tables and many were empty. The waitress an older lady brings me the menu and I ordered water because I was taking an antibiotic. When she takes my order I told her I would like the soup only and dessert possibly coffee. This lady started lecturing me that I can't come to this restaurant and only order soup, that she had to work and ordering just soup was not done that it's common sense that you just can't order soup. The menu was à la carte. It was not a pre-fixed three course menu it was à la carte. I told her I didn't know but she really upset me. She made me feel like a child and I'm a 60 year-old woman that has traveled the world people like her should not be dealing with customers, that said the soup was good. Didn't have a lot of fish, but it was good. The ambience was good with white tablecloths, but the service that this lady gave me will never be forgotten because I have never been treated so poorly she raised her voice at me like if I was a child for that reason I do not recommend this restaurant.
