We stopped in here for a quick bite as we were roaming around enjoying the mini Pintxos bars in Bilbao. As with all the other small bars this had its own unique take on the classics. Among the best were the four cheese pintos and the chorizo wrapped in pastry. They offered many different options of delicious Rioja wine at super reasonable prices. We had five glasses for our group for less than €15. A great spot to stop.

Excellent restaurant in Casco viejo Service was awesome, the girls at the bar are super friendly and genuine. The pinxtos which is the staple here in Bilbao are to die for. The restaurant has an upstairs, downstairs and patio. If you want to have a full meal you have to sit downstairs or outside. For pinxtos you can sit/stand anywhere on the first floor near the bar. The restaurant is located in Plaza Nueva which is full of bars and small restaurants. Having a full meal in Bilbao is very expensive and not worth it to be honest. With pinxtos you get to try everything on the menu and it's cheaper for sure. The torrija is the best I've ever tasted it's a must try. I would definitely recommend this place when you come to Basque Country.

Totally worth the visit for the restrooms alone! And yes, the pintxos and location are great, too! Stop in and fill up on bacalao, canas, and bask in the sun. Service was cool and the txakoli flowed like the water in the restroom. A must visit!

Fun place, good tapas, wine and beer. Family friendly. In the middle of the square which is great for people watching.

My pick from the menu was the avocado salad, constructed on a base of some of the freshest greens including escarole and lamb's lettuce (canonigos in Spanish). This luscious bed of crunchy greens was topped with generous slices of avocado encircling a mound of queso fresco cubes and pine nuts, and the whole plate was drizzled with a vinaigrette made of honey and mustard. The salad greens were perfectly dressed, and the creamy avocado and queso fresco paired nicely with the earthy pine nuts and the crunch of the dried black olive powder sprinkled on top. We also tried the Piadina de Carpaccio, a hot flatbread sandwich stuffed with slices of pastrami, mesclun, melted Parmesan cheese, radish cream, and pumpkin seeds. The slices of beef were juicy and smokey, pairing perfectly with the unctuous melted cheese, the earthy pumpkin seeds, and the refreshing bite of the greens! There were so many other delicious-looking plates going by that I wish we could have tried (and photographed) even more dishes from the menu, but you simply can't go wrong with the selections here!
