Phenomenal!!!! Just eat here with our family (6 Total) and had the best experience, food and incredible desserts. The homemade ice cream and chocolate mousse was the best we had ever had anywhere. Chef Raisch is extremely talented and well trained from many countries and offers a wide variety on his menu. You should visit this restaurant if you are in and around this area. 2nd time having dinner here was better than the 1st. Extremely hospitable and the food was incredible. Last night a group of us from work (around 18 people) went here for dinner. Despite it being a large party and us ordering soups, appetizers, main courses, and drinks, the service was excellent. The menu offers a variety of German/International cuisine. The food was of good quality. My venison was extremely tender. Gravies were tasty. My only criticism would be the presentation/preparation of the carpaccio. I like it with lemon juice and olive oil and perhaps some young balsamic vinegar. They, however, served it without any acicidity or oil, just very old aged balsamic vinegar which had that syrupy consistency and very sweet taste which overpowered the beef. read more

This place has wonderful German and Thai cuisine! The service has always been amazing. The prices are good for the portion size. The chef always checks to make sure we like our dishes. We had the Tom yum soup, pad Thai, cheese spaetzle and goulash and all were cooked perfectly with great flavor. Check out this hidden gem (located inside of the Hotel Raisch). You will not be disappointed! They also make home made ice cream but we have always been too full to try it. read more

Not a bad place to visit but wasn't too impressed with the food selection as a vegetarian. The place advertises Thai food from the street but there was maybe only two curry dishes. However they accommodate for their customers so I would encourage to take a gander and decide for yourself. read more

Enjoyed a wonderful Thai meal at Restaurant Raisch. We actually ordered their Chefs Surprise Dinner and we were so happy that it was Thai food even though we hadn't come here for Thai. The Owners wife was the Chef for this meal and is from Thailand I believe. Excellent spice and a very enjoyable dinner--the dessert was amazing and icing on the cake. Many of my work colleagues rave about the food so a friend and I decided to see if it was up to their high praise. It was. Service was very personal and our waitress had excellent ideas on selecting and sharing Thai food. The food was outstanding. They use top quality ingredients with a mixture of subtle and bold flavors, large portions, and reasonable prices. Next time I go I'll take a bigger appetite and order more courses. They even offered to add coconut milk to my soup if it was too hot (which it wasn't). One of the best restaurants in greater K-town. read more
