What can I say the food was excellent. Service very good. English is scarce but they manage. Worth the stop while travelling on Route 20 TCH

This isn't your ordinary bbq joint. Chez Biceps BBQ puts a cool twist on bbq, and somehow elevates…read morethe taste to make it more sophisticated and fancy. One of the best bbq I've had and I've been to Texas and the south. We got the big rib and St. Louis ribs with sides of asparagus and the miraculous sweet potato. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Big rib was so tender and fell off the bone. It was served in a really good sweet and savory sauce. The St. Louis ribs were also tasty. I've never had asparagus at a bbq place but I was all for it. The asparagus was cooked nicely and had some kind of truffle oil? Yum. The Miraculous sweet potato was also super tasty!! It was like a fancy baked sweet potato. I don't know what was on it but it was so good! We were so full after and didn't have room for dessert but they also sounded so good. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation while you are in Quebec City! You won't regret it.

I've never been to a place that said they were full for the night at opening. We were luckily enough to get a spot for the next evening, at opening. Worth it. Everyone was really friendly. Our waitress had the drink menu in her head. Just say what you like. We got the heritage plate. Two types of brisket, a sausage, and two types of ribs. It was perfect. Didn't care too much for the sausage but everything was the most tenderest meats I've ever had, as well as tasty. No steak knife needed, but a butter knife was provided. So much food. And I had to save the rest for later. Definitely this place is on the top of my list for favorite bbqs. The Mac and cheese was interesting. It was good and cheesy. There was even cauliflower in it.

Food! My husband loves wild game he had the elk steak it was outstanding. I had the duck confit…read moresalad it was ok. I expected more duck. The table next to us had the flaming meat looked totally delicious but come hungry! The decor is rustic and indigenous like. It's right on the main street in the town we took a taxi. I'm not sure about the parking if there's any parking beautiful beautiful street! Lots of restaurants and cafes. Oh! I almost forgot my favorite dish was the Goose liver It was Amazing they seared it perfectly!!!

We loved the unique theme of this restaurant! It was such a cool idea to have a restaurant which…read moreshowcases Native American cuisine. The Yatista meat tipi with 4 different meats (deer, elk, bison, and caribou) which was lit on fire and seared at the table was a totally unique experience to us. I don't know of any other restaurant where this is done and where you can taste so many different game meats at the same time. Experience: 2.5/5 - a bit underwhelming compared to our expectation (the waiter was extremely busy, but with a little extra help this could've been a much more impressive and informative experience - he just set it on the table and quietly lit it, it flamed up very briefly then went out quickly; there was no buildup or even brief explanation about Native American cuisine, or spiritual/ceremonial cooking/dining habits). Having said that, the price was reasonable and the food was good, so the cost was appropriate for the actual food served, rather than a true Native American "experience" - we just did not realize that beforehand and expected a bigger spectacle that would also be a learning foodie experience. Food: 4/5 - The caribou was an off-menu special the night we went, and was hands down the superior taste and texture of the 4 game meats. The elk was the most flavorful (read: gamey, ie. good for some but not all palates - I liked it, some others at the table did not) yet had a great texture. The bison had a nice flavor but was quite tough/chewy and was our least favorite for that reason. The deer was good, both taste and texture. It came with 3 different sauces (which were more like flavored mayonnaise-based dipping sauces than pour over sauces): spicy, mushroom, and maple. The caribou-mushroom combo was my favorite, the elk-maple was my second favorite. Other great dishes were the mushroom & ground meat ravioli, the melted cheese appetizer, and the cranberry-walnut bread. All-in-all, delicious food with a unique restaurant idea, which could definitely be improved with a little bit more thought and planning for a more full/impressive dining "experience."
