I love Greek food, and I walk by this place many times, so I tried it out. go in, me and a friend are seated, normal, we make our order and wait about 40 minutes for it to arrive, was a bit annoyed we had to wait 40 minutes for our order, we both ordered soup which were very good but the main dish (at least mine) was not so good. I ordered the rack of lamb, and it tasted nothing like lamb... it tasted like a sort of beef, but that particular strong lamb taste was not there, that sort of bummed me out, the food in general from what i had was mediocre and did not have that Greek flavor I've tasted many times before in other Greek restaurants. The part that annoyed me really though was after we were done eating, I wanted to pay the bill, the only waiter there disappeared, so after standing in front of the bar for roughly 17 minutes he finally shows up from where else he was and i tell him i want to pay, he then brings the bill another 15 minutes later, keep in mind I was not sure if there was another room or terrace as there were stairs going upstairs. once he brings the bill he gives us a free after dinner Greek type of licorice schnapps which was good,, but the most annoying thing is that when i told him we will take the schnapps he then said "no problem" and gave me a pat on the shoulder with a cocky grin on his face.....since when do waiters touch the costumers? That made me really pissed off and I paid the bill and left. I for one will never return to this place as it is obvious that it is poorly run and only 1 waiter for the whole place is ridiculous. read more

Restaurant Mythos hits all the areas making it an amazing restaurant!!! No matter how long you're in Vienna for, skip the strudels and go straight here. How we found it: A buddy and I were traveling to Central Europe for vacation with stops in Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Berlin. During night 1 of 2 in Vienna we intended to go to STEMAN (traditional Viennese and also pretty good), however they were very busy and asked us to come back the next night and squeezed us in. We stumbled upon Mythos via Yelp. As we walked up to the restaurant, it looked small at first, but that's okay because it's set up to accommodate people comfortably. Atmosphere: I've never been to Greece, but it made me feel I was there with white walls and blue accents with the obligatory Zeus and Athena murals on the wall, accompanied by soft Greek music in the background. Atmosphere was amazing!!! Employees: Extremely friendly, when we walked in we asked to see the English version of the menu as we had not made or decision to stay very accommodatingly the server/host grabbed us one without any pressure. I'm glad we decided to stay. The owner ended up taking care of us and let me tell you he is a awesome guys who is also funny! Drinks: I had a local light beer and my buddy had white vine. The beverages were simple but paired well. Food: this is why you're here right... simply one of the best places we've ever been to. We had the taziki (seasoned cucumber and yogurt) and Feta starters both delicious and served with warm pita bread also ample portions. For the main dish we had a grilled chicken dish with rice. I forget the name now but it was phenomenal! Highly recommend it. The owner nor servers will steer you wrong! Dessert: I had the baclava, I'm a sucker for it so I thought it was amazing. I went here on a Saturday evening to get some dinner. That was a mistake. Due to the lack of personnel it took very long time before our order was taken. They did not put anything on the table like bread or olives to pass time. The lighting in the back side where we were sitting was a very cold neon light. The friendly owner did offer us different wines to taste as he did I not want us to order Austrian wine but Greek wine. I personally think the service level is poor. The food is ok comparable to other Greek restaurants. Prices are acceptable. The interior is clean but dated. read more

Fantastic gyros! It was exactly what I wanted. Service seems a little unorganized but who cares if you're not in a rush, relaxed and want to enjoy yummy Greek food?! Prices seem reasonable for the quality of food. Will def come back and recommend this place. read more

My husband and k love this place for nights when we don't feel like cooking. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is always the right amount. I would recommend the dolmadakia and pork gyros but make sure you order a side of pita. It's not fancy Greek food and I can't attest to its authenticity but it is still damn good. read more
