If you want to go here you might want to take an Uber there is never parking. Once you make it to the restaurant t probably only accommodates 30 people so only come here if you have time. Mole de los Reyes is our go to place for breakfast! We usually order "huevos con queso panela" and coffee, there has been times we have ordered other dishes and they don't disappoint. Also, their "cafe de la olla" is our favorite.. you don't have to add sugar nor cream - it's perfect. The restaurant is right accross the railway track where our plant is. Couple of our colleagues went here and we ordered the following: Gorditas De Barbacoa (Lamb Gorditas) Cochinita Pibil (Marinated Pork) Chicken Breast Mole Manchamanteles (Hot Mole) Chicken Breast Poblano Coke in a bottle Horchata Rompope Flan (2) Pros: 1) Mole was delicious. I ordered the Manchamanteles sauce Chicken and it was not hot at all for my Indian taste buds. 2) Colleague ordered the Marinated Pork. He let me taste it and it was truly, utterly, melt in your mouth, delicious goodness. The best Marinated Pork I ever had. 3) Humble, very informative employee/waitress. She informed us that her mother was the cook. Cons: 1) Horchata was different, but not the kind I dig. No refills either. I love me some Horchata refills! 2) Pricey for a Maywood/HP sit in lunch restaurant. Best low key authentic Mexican restaurant! The horchata tasted so fresh and you can tell it's homemade, it even had pumpkin seeds in it! The homemade corn tortillas are out of this world. I love this place ! I am vegetarian, im glad they have a few vegetarians options . My favorite are los chilaquiles con salsa verde . I usually go in the morning so they serve them with rice , seasoned potatoes, beans , onions ,cheese and sour cream (meat or egg) I believe are optional. I get Mine with no meat and no eggs. I like to add avocado to my order food tastes so authenthic, such a homemade taste ! It is a little small but its really cute inside. The only thing I wish the portion would be a little more. The restaurant is small but has a very cozy feel too it. I had the restaurant's signature dish and even thou I was a bit disappointed on the thickness of the chicken but the flavor of mole was spot on and house salsa was very good too. I also wish they would have more variety of drink options but it was not bad. There was not a lot of customers when I visit location but I have no doubt they do get a good amount of patrons to there establishment. The hostess was very nice and informative as not a lot of restaurants have servers that are friendly and informative. I will re-visit this location to try there breakfast menu. read more

This has to be one of my top five breakfast spots. Its a little hole in the wall. I've been coming here even before it was popular. It's super affordable, but delicious. My favorite breakfast plate is the huevos rancheros. It's crispy tortilla strips topped with two perfect medium eggs and a flavorful red sauce. It's not too hot or mild. Served with a small side of beans, potatoes and an order of hand made tortillas. Sometimes we'll start with a mollete. It's a crunchy bolillo topped with chorizo, beans and Pico de gallo. All their breakfast plates are very good which mostly consist of chilaquiles in different sauces. Also most of them don't include eggs. Their cafe de olla here is a very good. You only get one free refill. The aguas frescas don't have refills, but are so good. From their Horchata water to cactus fruit and hibiscus. All are delicious. ORDERED TO GO- I see where they were going with the mole they offer as far as visuals go. Standard mole with sesame seeds, mole verde with pepitas, refried beans, and white rice. By the time we got home the presentation.. was very confusing. They need to work on the type of to-go styrofoam boxes they have. It's a one compartment box so when I opened it I was very disappointed to see that both moles AND the rice had mixed together so I couldn't really distinguish their individual tastes. It was just a dry pechuga de pollo with both very watered down moles all over the place. The basic mole (dark) overpowered the green mole and it was too sweet for my taste and I've tried other moles POBLANOS that have a smokier and richer taste even thicker in texture some even have some spiciness. The rice was nothing special. The only thing I was able to taste because it was boxed separately was the refried beans which were also very watered down and bitter for some reason. I'm not usually a negative reviewer but I'm an honest one. One thing I did enjoy was the tortillas. Definitely hand made and the thickness was perfect. Not too thick/fluffy.
