I ordered takeout via yelp and it was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. The waitress was friendly, pleasant and attended me on my arrival. I ordered scrambled 'huevos con chorizo' that is served with side of beans, home style potatoes, chips and salsa. It was all fresh delicious and authentic. I did not spend a lot of time indoors but the ambiance was calm and clean. I can't opine on other dishes but I definitely recommend giving them a try. Great food, but hours need to be updated I love this place and come often, the food is always amazing and I usually get it to go out of respect for their closing routine. However, I've noticed that on weekends, even though they're listed as open until 9pm, the door is often locked by 8:30. I get that staff needs time to clean and close, but if that's the case the posted hours should reflect that. It feels a bit lazy and misleading. Great food! I had ceviche and it was good. The tilapia is also good. So fresh and tasty. Add for extra lemons. Delicious aguas frescas. My favorite was the pepino chia lemonade. Service was great even for the busy afternoon after folk got out of church. Ambiance was clean and chill. The music was not too loud and it was easy to asks for stuff. We had a great dinner experience yesterday. They have outside seating and did everything they could to accommodate us and feel safe. The food was delicious! My only problem was how full I felt afterwards, which was totally my fault. We had guacamole and chips and shared the seafood platter (fuente de mariscos) with hand made tortillas. We also sampled the shrimp empanadas which were delicious. The staff were kind enough to teach us how to open the crab legs.. i will post a picture but keep in mind we had already started eating it. We stopped in after the Dodgers game and it may have been the highlight of the day! The Shrimp and Marlin empanadas are a must try. After devouring those, we ordered a Shrimp cocktail that came out as cold as ice with fresh shrimp, crisp vegetables and a perfect avocado. All of the Main courses were delicious but the Fish Tacos were the equivalent of a home run! To wash it all down we had a couple ice cold beers with freshly cut limes. Since it was Mother's Day, we had every excuse to try the Tres Leches cake which made the whole table smile. I can in because I was filming across the street and wanted to eat some quick food. I ordered through Grubhub but they didn't have Grubhub tablet so I was charged for the meal and didn't even have it ordered. I called grubhub to get a refund and then called the restaurant to place the order. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla and let me tell you it was... mediocre. The cheese in the beans was hard and the rice tasted old. When I went to drink my pina drink it had fruit flies in it as well as black spots in the ice. I decided against drinking it and just continued to test the waters with the food. The shrimp seemed to be okay as I didn't get sick. The only reason I would return to this place is to get a second chance because of their customer service. They lady that helped me was very nice and through with making sure my order was correct. This little place is walking distance from where I work, which is super convenient since we do not park our cars on site and do not get to eat out of the building much. My coworker loves this place so we walked down the street to check out their lunch specials. The lunch special of the day was chicken enchiladas that came with a side of rice and beans, and also crema de elote soup. The soup was surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting much of it and it was really yummy. The chicken enchiladas were very good as well, they were not overpowered by salsa, so they were not soggy. The rice and beans were pretty good, not great, but still good. I also wasn't particularly nuts about the tortilla chips, but the plate came with sour cream. You know how I love sour cream, lol. They also have a happy hour with margarita specials, but it's usually way after my lunch time at work, lol, so maybe one day... The lunch specials are different every day of the week and the service is good and friendly, so hopefully we'll get a chance to come check out some of the other specials on other days of the week. I don't know if I would walk here again though, it is in an industrial part of Vernon where there are plenty of truck drivers and such to make your walking experience that much more pleasant, lol. read more

This is my 3rd time here in about 6 months and this place still sucks( I try to give shitty spots a chance to redeem themselves). The 1st time was a halfway decent wet burrito, I figured next time I come I'll try their mainstay seafood so the 2nd time was a below average seafood soup (this is a seafood place) I couldn't eat it because the fish skin in the soup was falling apart from the meat, it was bitter and making a mess of everything and there was a lot of it. Today I was feeling adventurous so I came back and went with the daily special of chicken fajitas... The chowder type soup had a week old taste, the fajitas were tasteless, the salsa was old and just turning sour and the service checked in with me when I ordered and when I paid, no refills.
