While this commentary pertains to a Costco in Holbrook, NY, my comments all address Costco as a company. I have visited another warehouse business but was disappointed. Costco continues to surpass anyone else. 1. Costco offers everything you could look for from food, to electronics, plants (in season), jewelry, automotive items, paper products, special shows of private vendors - offering cutlery, fish, furniture, but to name only a few. 2. Lighting within the warehouse is so much brighter. 3. Product placement isn't crowded with space between items. 4. The warehouse is immaculate and clean. 5. Staff are available and well informed of their products, availability and eager to assist shoppers. 6. The prices are usually always lower than other retail establishments. 7. What also separates Costco is their most generous return police limited to 90 days for computers and flatscreen televisions.there is such a diversity of flatscreens and brands you're bound to find something. 8. What especially was wonderful was the willingness to assist customers. Being disabled, I have trouble walking throughout the warehouse. I've occasionally asked a "front end" manager if someone could help me shop. A store associate assisted me taking my shopping list and gathering the items throughout Costco paying attention to packing the order. 9. The food court has a wonderful menu such as pizza all fresh, enjoyable at low prices. 10. The Kirkland Brand is exceptional. Never a disappointment. 11. Costco stands behind all their services. In short, I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Everything is cheaper at Costco, including gasoline. I fill-er-up here sometimes. Today an associate pre-scanned the items in my cart before I arrived at the check-out counter. All the check-out cashier had to do was scan my membership card to get the total amount due. I was impressed at the stellar customer service. I highly recommend!

But the line was so long with one cashier and people with large carts filled with items and haggling. If you compare the price per pound, you'll quickly realize that they're changing the same, or even more, than supermarkets. It's crazy right? Only about 5-10% of their food products are actually any sort of deal vs supermarkets. Take notice of the produce, meats, fish and raw chicken prices, compare it to your local shop rites, aldi's, Lidl etc, you will see for yourself. Those supermarkets clearly do not require a membership fee, and run better deals as a whole.

Summer helped me and she was incredibly positive and knowledgeable. She helped me choose the right size and recommended the correct shape and shading for my sunglasses. Mind you I walked out with three pairs of glasses for the price of one pair of glasses at the fancy Optical Shops. I will always get my glasses at Costco.

Counted 16, asked my wife to count and she said 16. I guess it was just something to do to pass the time as we waited in line to leave. 2 lines were set up, one had an associate e has seen before and he seemed to be moving things along. Unfortunately the lines we were in was a little slow and I joked that the associate was probably new and was being extra careful and meticulous on checking the receipts . Sure enough he counted ours and said 17. I could have laughed, I told him no it was 16 and he needed to count again. Well he decided to "enunciate" all the numbers, going slowly. And guess what, he came up with 16. I really thought they were there to ensure we got all the sales correctly on the receipt so if something rang up too high they would help us correct it. Not to use it as a ruse to make sure you paid for everything. The carts go on the cashiers side so you can't sneak anything they. 2 stars this time. This includes shopping around all their vegetables and fruits. Which most seemed to be over ripe and not appealing enough ton purchase. Not sure what happened today with their stock because normally they have a good selection to choose from. Just this time most of those food items seemed past their prime.

The pack everything for you they do it wonderfully and they are very professional I've only had one time something go wrong and they credited me and fixed it. There's a lot of product if you have time I recommend going during the week when Parking or eggs have been a bit of a prom to get latelybut it's still a good thing for your butt and nowadays we need to save as much as we can!

Fresh bread crumbs, fruit, and deli meats are also available, along with a large selection of different cheeses. They will grate the parmesan there for you, and they even sell rinds for cooking. They sell so many giant cans that I've never seen! An old friend who shucked clams for the famous Pepe's Pizza years ago had said their go-to sauce was 7/11 brand. When my husband saw LC Cash & Carry had it, he HAD to get it. I cannot impress upon you how TASTY this sauce is...OUT OF THE CAN!!! I was mind blown!!! Growing up in an Italian family, sauce is a big deal...this saice OUT OF THE CAN is tastier than sauce people slave over for hours! I could eat it with a spoon!!!
