I like to take advantage of these rest areas frequently during my extended travels for a number of reason but the main reason is probably safety - I understand lots of people rush to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible and I'm sure I did the same when I was younger and only looked at these rest areas as places to grab a snack or find relief for themselves or their pets. This rest area is a great example of how Tennessee addresses these roadside amenities I found this place very spacious with lots of parking with very clean facilities so as I approached the exit I engaged the jake brake and throttled down and made my way to the truck parking area.
