We had our wedding after party here and it was perfect. It is small but it's a beautiful space and Thomas was great to work with!

Staff Is a great asset to the Company. Very professional. I feel very safe here and they have an onsite Police Officer. Recommend Cross Creek Apartments if your looking for a home to live in. This has been a terrible experience all around. Strap in for a long review…read more Before I begin, TLDR: major leaks, "fixes" that create holes, holes that don't get fixed, bugs, and a front end staff that seems to have more of a "that sounds like a you problem" attitude than a were so sorry attitude. Now, if you'd like to know the stories, here we go. First, we haven't even been here 3 months - so a "newly renovated" place shouldn't be having all these issues. Our story begins as we find this apartment listed for 1400ish and request a tour. As we come in, the front desk person brings us to the apartment and we walk through. When we get back, she let's us know that the 1400 price point is only for non renovated apartments and that the price for this one is 1600ish. More than we wanted to pay, but it does look nice and we are sick of hotel living, so we agree. In retrospect - change the price of your listing if you have NO intention of renting any apartments to new residents at that price! But, I digress. When we have our move in walk through, we are checking things - doors, windows, drawers, and etc. As we are about to attempt to open the upstairs windows we are interrupted with, oh those windows are being replaced in December. I don't know what possessed us to not check them after that, but we didn't. Turns out not one of the four upstairs windows opens at all. When we move in we notice several issues - this is incldung, but not limited to several sockets are so loose we can't plug anything in without it falling right back out, closet bar so loose it is ready to pull out of the wall, ceiling popcorn falling all over the floor, second floor windows WILL NOT OPEN (a safety concern as that is the only option for egress should the unthinkable happen), and others. We bring our list to the front, as requested, and the front desk person, whose name begins with K, so I will use that initial to refer to her from here out, says that she will get maintenance on those things right away. As we go back to our apartment we are met by several neighbour's over the course of the day who let us know in no uncertain terms that they are moving out as soon as their contracts expire and that Cross Creek does not care. We stupidly chalk this up to them being upset about being forced to relocate so their old apartments could be updated (and they could be charged more rent). In retrospect, that sucks too. That should be illegal. Anywho, we move in and after about a month we wake up to a hole in the downstairs ceiling. A pipe was leaking. As soon as they open (@ 10 a.m.) I go down to the office. It's actually about 10:15 when K finally shows up. Instead of an oh I'm sorry, I'll get someone there right away, she asks me why I didn't call emergency maintenance and says that is supposed to be done first, but she will go ahead and put it in 'for me. Excuse me? Sorry, but how are we supposed to know that? And isn't that kind of your job. Not wanting to be a Karen, I just say okay thanks and leave. Maintenance comes out, fixes the leak and says they will need to wait until it is dry to patch. Of course I understand that. This happened on Saturday so I ask if that means around Monday or Tuesday and says yeah and leaves. It has been almost 4 weeks - we are still waiting on that repair. The gentleman who has the task of fixing the closet makes and leaves a large hole on said closet and puts in a bar that does not allow for a normal hanger to put on in a normal way - it has to be put on and then slid down. The maintenance worker let us know that windows would be replaced so they would not fix it at all. The best they could do was leave one stuck open - its stuck open about 4 inches- that is not egress by any stretch of the imagination. They did send out a window guy as well. He assured us they would help, but that has been almost 2 months now, and we have heard nothing. Last week we wake up to a huge puddle in the living room - low and behold, yet ANOTHER leak in our "renovated and more expensive" apartment. They come out, discover that the micky-mouse fix that was in place before on the water heater had failed. They put the same "fix" on again and call it done. Guess what? Surprise, surprise, it failed again and yet again we wake up this morning to a leak in the same place. I am currently waiting on maintenance - for over 2 and a half hours. On top of all that, there are bugs - one huge roach landed on my mom's face in the middle of the night; the drawers have broken and come off tracks: my closet door did the same thing just the morning. Good Lord - does anyone know how to get THE HECK OUT of a contract like this? Seriously, this is turning out to be the most lipstick on a pig slum I have ever seen.
