Therefore, the bride had to get ready downstairs. The lady who was in charge asked for the check in the middle of the couple getting pictures. They stood and stared at us the entire time, it was just odd and unprofessional. Some of the servers were nice and the food was good, but as a future bride, I will not be considering this venue. I've been here multiple times for Brewfest and visiting the winery, but it was my first time getting to see the inside that is reserved for event. The inside is open, clean, and perfect for creating your own space, as with a wedding. The ceremony was downstairs, and the reception was held upstairs. The upstairs opens up to the street level on Depot Street, which was nice to get some air. The reception had beer and Blue slip Wine which was a nice touch. I loved the cocktail hour on the ground level next to the covered station, I know many people opt to have their reception outside there as well. Blue slip Winery will be opening a restaurant soon, so that will also be a great addition to receptions by offering in house catering. Also the ease of the station having its own parking lot is one of the greatest perks being in the heart of downtown! Especially if you are still wanting to keep the party going, there are plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance!

And the nice thing is that it's conveniently located only 9 miles from downtown Knoxville. When you arrive, Lynn will give you a tour of the place, give you instructions and your special key code to get in and out as you please, and lastly, bring you to your room. We have stayed in two different rooms and our favorite is the spacious room upstairs with the en-suite bathroom. Room amenities include: extra towels, pillows, and blankets, a fan, a white noise machine, smart T.V., luggage stand, and a binder of useful information. Each morning, Lynn serves a continental breakfast from 8-10 a.m. which includes: fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, homemade muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal. The coffee and tea bar is always open, which I just love. I can't sing enough accolades for this beautiful bed and breakfast and its delightful host. My parents and I went to visit first because my fiance was out of town, but as soon as he returned, I told him we had to go see it together. The pictures do not do this venue justice; it is a hidden gem that has a great amount of elegance and charm. The main ceremony location is well shaded and was perfect for our June wedding. The accommodations for the bridal party (separate spaces for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen) was extremely comfortable for getting ready throughout the day. The reception spot is beautiful without decorations (which is a huge plus)! Sandy was great at finalizing the details and everything went smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. Also, it was so nice that the chairs, tables, linens, chargers, and even some other decorations were included in the pricing; that is hard to find. Service is delightful, and the hospitality is unmatched - it feels just like showing up at thanksgiving and meeting someone's new boyfriend/girlfriend for the first time. I felt welcome here and I left with friends. While the menu isn't extensive, everything I tried was good. These people have really taken the time to take a hobby into a way of life and it SHOWS. I'm taking home a bottle of Cabernet today that rivals even the 5 star vineyards on the west coast.
