I checked out the desserts, brisket sandwiches and all of the beef jerky. I then went to the Buccees shot glasses. Of course, I took pictures of the Buccees truck along the way. The staff was friendly and able to help me find what I was looking for. My friends and I shopped and ate for two hours! Since there isn't a place to eat, we ate inside my friend's car. The bathrooms are clean with no wait time. I enjoyed looking at the artwork when I entered the bathroom. I noticed there were other products that looked like it belonged to a Hallmark store and fishing store. Buccees has whatever you need and more. The brisket was delicious and I loved the sauce. The sandwich was just enough for me. My friends and I had a fantastic time perusing Buccees and now I know why people are obsessed.

It's so much more than a gas station, it's like a giant convenience store, grocery store, and gift shop all in one. They sell just about everything, and it's fun just walking around to see what you'll find. While we were there, a woman realized her son was missing, and it was scary to witness. Thankfully, the Buc-ee's staff immediately jumped into action to help, and after several minutes, he was found safe. It was nice to see how quickly everyone responded. I had always heard people rave about the jerky, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The jerky I bought tasted spoiled and had an unpleasant flavor. Considering how much it cost, it definitely wasn't worth the money for me. My son really wanted one of the Buc-ee's fleece throw blankets, so we picked one up for about $15, and he loves it. My husband and the kids also ordered the brisket sandwiches, and they all thought they were really good. I tried a bite, but it just wasn't my favorite. Buc-ee's is definitely worth visiting at least once. The atmosphere is impressive, the store is huge, and there's an incredible selection of food, snacks, gifts, and souvenirs. I just wish my experience with the jerky had been better because I left feeling disappointed that it didn't satisfy the craving I'd been looking forward to.

The restrooms were very clean - with touch-less faucets, and manually operated soap dispensers and you have a better chance of seeing GOD than you do getting water at a temperature better than lukewarm, thankfully we all carry sanitizer with us nowadays. I didn't not see any security or custodians working, but I wasn't scared or disgusted, this rest area is maintained responsibly. I'm sure they were on a break or something, yeah I'm sure that was the case. It was very early morning when I stopped in and found no humans present on the grounds and the multiple vehicles parked across the lot seemed to be the perfect venue for getting a few winks. It's a peaceful place at this hour and I suspect most are taking cat naps before pressing on to their destinations. I found myself yawning as well but not to the point I required an extended break. These rest areas serves the public well and go by different names in different parts of the country some like this one are named Rest Areas others are referred to as Rest Stops, Safety Service Areas and a multitude of other names, no matter what you call them they serve a purpose and probably prevent accidents on the interstates as well as inside the vehicle if you know what I mean...

Picnic tables shady trees are on cement slabs, so visitors don't have to worry about resting their shoes in mud or dirt. The Welcome Center was staffed with a friendly and knowledgeable woman, and, after asking her where caves/caverns were located, she gave tips about caves and caverns that we could visit in Alabama. There are a lot of maps and guides in the Welcome Center to take and read up on places to visit and things to do. There is a big back porch that has many rocking chairs where you can sit in the shade and look at a grassy area.
