    No overnight parking!
    Bruce K.

An hour outside of Atlanta and I was ready for a stretch, this was a welcome break on I-75. Easy in, good space for walking around, a clean restroom, and easy to get back onto the highway even if I got off at the next exit to hit up the new Buc-ee's. There are signs clearly pointing out that overnight parking is prohibited and that's a major bummer for me. I can't do five stars for that. [Review 19558 overall - 612 in Georgia - 529 of 2023.]

Officially known as - Rest Area No. 34 in Gordon County - I-75 (North GA) Restrooms open 24 hours and generally clean Custodians on-premise 7:00 AM-11:00 PM (I did not see them present but it may have been break-time during my visit) Left your pet, your mother-in-law or maybe lost you wallet in the stall? Call before making that U-turn - Phone: +1 770-387-488 Camping is prohibited at rest areas, but drivers who need rest to safely continue their travels can sleep in their vehicles in the parking lots. ... If you need more than a nap, you can sleep in your vehicle for a longer period, but don't pitch a tent, extend your RV's slideouts or otherwise set up for an extended stay. I think all Rest Areas should be commercialized, scrape the vending machines and put in a Waffle House...

Clean, well stocked bathrooms - family restroom too. Vending machines for snacks and drinks. Well landscaped outside. Picnic areas - one covered and one uncovered. Plenty of parking. No pets allowed. Drive past the first set of restrooms, and you'll find another building. You'll also find more picnic tables. Huge area and well maintained.

It's a rest area. Semi-clean/semi-dirty. Lots of people. Had to use bathroom and let dog out for a walk. Quick and easy in and out.

Good overall rest area and a nice stop to make before I crossed over into Tennessee and continued on my way to Nashville.

The restrooms were very clean - with touch-less faucets, and manually operated soap dispensers and you have a better chance of seeing GOD than you do getting water at a temperature better than lukewarm, thankfully we all carry sanitizer with us nowadays. I didn't not see any security or custodians working, but I wasn't scared or disgusted, this rest area is maintained responsibly. I'm sure they were on a break or something, yeah I'm sure that was the case. It was very early morning when I stopped in and found no humans present on the grounds and the multiple vehicles parked across the lot seemed to be the perfect venue for getting a few winks. It's a peaceful place at this hour and I suspect most are taking cat naps before pressing on to their destinations. I found myself yawning as well but not to the point I required an extended break. These rest areas serves the public well and go by different names in different parts of the country some like this one are named Rest Areas others are referred to as Rest Stops, Safety Service Areas and a multitude of other names, no matter what you call them they serve a purpose and probably prevent accidents on the interstates as well as inside the vehicle if you know what I mean...
