I wish I could give 10 stars!!!!…read more Recently, I had my first art gallery exhibit experience with my Calla Lilies painting hanging up at the Gallery of Hermosa!! The exhibit was called "May Flowers". I am honored I was part of the May Flowers exhibit and will continue to be featured in future gallery exhibits. Gallery of Hermosa has a different rotating exhibit theme every month. It gives artists like myself a chance to create diverse topic of pieces. For example, the next theme for the upcoming exhibit is "Game on". The opening exhibit party will be held on June 7th, 5-8pm! The "Game on" exhibit will be running from June 7th-23rd. I love the peaceful environment Gallery of Hermosa has to offer. The gallery has a clean open space to walk around and look at artwork made by various artists local and nationally. Gallery of Hermosa is located right in the heart of Hermosa Beach. The location is perfect especially if you want to look at the view down the street of Hermosa beach pier and the ocean. There was an excellent array of very different artists, materials and styles represented at a range of price points. Great variety and quality with very reasonable pricing. It's a combination of juried shows applied for via CaFE (Call for entry platform) and selected artist exhibits. They also have Zoom discussions with the artist before the openings to find out more about the artists, works and process - lively discussions. The gallery opens wide to the outdoor via a roll up door allowing excellent air ventilation and everyone is required to wear a mask indoors. Great crowd - everyone is very friendly and many artist were in attendance. We found each street parking. Afterwards, tons of restaurants just a few blocks away.

Brothers Juan and Diego now run the business together, carrying on the legacy of their father, Juan Sr., who started it in his garage back in 1984. How cool is that?! When I first visited the shop, Juan spent so much time giving me personalized attention, patiently helping me choose the perfect framing designs for two pieces that are very near and dear to my heart. He has a wonderful artistic eye, and I genuinely felt like he cared just as much about how the finished pieces would look as I did. I never once felt rushed, pressured, or upsold. One of my favorite parts of the experience was that Juan's wife and children were there, with the kids playing and hanging out while we worked on the designs. It honestly felt less like walking into a retail store and more like being welcomed into someone's family room. There was something so charming and authentic about that! When I returned to pick up my finished pieces, I met Juan's brother, Diego, who was equally kind and accommodating. He graciously loaded both of my heavier framed pieces into the back of my truck. He also helped me remove some old family photographs from frames I no longer wanted, returned the photos to me, and offered to donate the empty frames on my behalf. He didn't charge me a penny for the extra help. Just genuinely thoughtful, above-and-beyond service. And the finished pieces? Absolutely gorgeous! The craftsmanship and attention to detail were everything I'd hoped for. I'll be upfront: custom framing here isn't inexpensive. But if you're looking for exceptional quality, an artistic eye, thoughtful design guidance, and truly personal service, this is the kind of place that's worth investing in, especially for artwork or keepsakes that mean something to you. They also have a great selection of ready-made frames crafted from high-quality leftover framing materials, offering a much more affordable alternative if you don't need something completely custom. I came out of town for my sister's baby shower and had nothing to do the following day so we…read moredecided to come to the mall which is very close to my Hilton Hotel at first I thought the mall was pretty empty but when I went inside, Looks like they had a variety of stores and a three story floor. They had lots of activities to do. We were even able to see some Disney characters wandering around the mall, which was really nice for my kids. I would definitely recommend this mall. thanks

This is the place to come to when you want to see what happens to a former thriving mall when mall culture no longer exists, and to get your steps in. It's air conditioned and quiet. Many of the spaces are for lease. There was a business where you can rent the space to take selfies with the full lighting and background setups. The only two stores I visited were the two large second hand stores. The one downstairs is mostly women's and the one upstairs is only men's. Service, selection and prices were great at both. They both sell clothing, shoes, and accessories. Cash discount. Parking: There is plenty of parking surrounding the entire mall, and it's free.
