Grew up in the SouthBay and this mall holds a lot of memories for me. Been going here for many…read moreyears and I'm sad to see it go. I hear there's talks of demolition and turning this place into a residential and commercial area. October 2026, this mall was rented out to Anime Night Mart. TONS of vendors on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor. Lots of little stands and creative art pieces for sale. There were so many to see and a lot of competition. It was my first time seeing this event and I had a blast. Even won a prize! A large mousepad. Also got free tote bags. I've never seen the mall packed like this for years. It hasn't been this crowded since way before Covid. This mall has sadly become empty with stores shutting down. I'm glad to see this kind of event bring foot traffic and traction back into the mall and bringing business. They should do this here more often. People flew in and traveled from all over to be here. Visitors also dressed up in cosplay. Such a fun event! Met some people, visited lots of vendors, and took pictures with some hosts. They even had a dj playing music. The mall was jam packed with vendors, they were everywhere. It was a free event but we got a free giveaway gift bag with freebies just for scanning our QR code with the team.

This used to be the mall to come to in the South Bay. Looks like the AMC is still here, if you want…read moreto catch a movie. The food court also remains. This is the place to come to when you want to see what happens to a former thriving mall when mall culture no longer exists, and to get your steps in. It's air conditioned and quiet. Many of the spaces are for lease. There was a business where you can rent the space to take selfies with the full lighting and background setups. The only two stores I visited were the two large second hand stores. The one downstairs is mostly women's and the one upstairs is only men's. Service, selection and prices were great at both. They both sell clothing, shoes, and accessories. Cash discount. Parking: There is plenty of parking surrounding the entire mall, and it's free.

If I could give Kim at Christie Manhattan Beach more than 5 stars I would!…read more I worked with Kim to design my wedding invitations and, like most brides, I was very particular with what I wanted. I almost got my invites custom designed online for a much higher cost, but I found Kim on Yelp when I was looking for someone to help me print guest addresses for my Save the Dates. When I met Kim and worked with her on the guest addressing, I knew I had to work with her on my invitations. Throughout the entire process, she was so patient with me and met with me multiple times sifting through paper colors, font styles and types of printing processes, before we put in my order. She was very helpful in providing advice, but not making me feel like I had to take every piece of advice she gave me. She also helped me figure out a way to stay within our budget without compromising too much of what I originally wanted. She also was great at communicating and keeping me informed along the way, and is just overall a sweet person who I enjoyed working with! I will continue to go to Kim for any printing and paper needs as long as I'm in the South Bay! :)

I also wanted to check out Christie Manhattan Beach store. I found lots of interesting gift and…read morebirthday cards here. Good spot for printing products and card ideas. My first time here, and I was impressed with alot of the cards I looked at. I also purchased some. I was very happy too.
