Jerome's access, speed, research, attention to detail, and ability to close a deal are what I found to be qualities that separate him from other agents. When I first started my search for an agent, I contacted seasoned agents who had great reviews and specialized in certain areas I wanted to live in. What I found is that it took a day to get in contact with them and some simply we're too busy to look at new homes on the market. In the LA real estate market timing is incredibly important. Jerome understood those requirements and was incredibly accessible and very fast. Whether it was phone, text, or email, Jerome was always available to answer any questions or contact me with new information. He was also extremely fast to inform me of new homes on the market and show them as quickly as possible. Jerome was a very good researcher also. I was certain which city and area of Los Angeles I wanted to buy. However once Jerome understood my needs, he was able to find a new and upcoming area that met my same needs and was much closer to the area I worked. He was also able to manage my expectations. There were times when I was excited after seeing a home and I would want to put in an offer. Jerome would research comparables and also tax records to see if there we're any issues of concern and sometimes advise against making an offer based off that research. If I was with another agent who was just looking to make a sale, they would've just gone forward with the sale. Jerome wanted to make sure I got the best home possible. Jerome's ability to close the deal saved my thousands. The drama begins when you finally found a home and have to make an offer. Minutes after a home went for sale and before it hit Redfin and Trulia, Jerome notified me and scheduled a showing asap. By the end of the day an offer was in and by the next morning Jerome worked the sellers agent to get them to say yes. I can't tell you how important that was as the coming weekend would've initiated more views and probably much higher offers. Jeromes attention to detail further saved me thousands. I wasn't prepared for the roller coaster that was 30-day escrow. Jerome made sure to get the sellers' agent to agree to important addendums. Pretty soon there were costly repairs that came up where the selling agent would try to balk by saying "the house is sold as is." But it was Jerome's important addendums to the purchase agreement that made sure I was protected from those costs. This condominium complex is at the top of a steep hill off of Grand Ave. in Ft. Thomas. The condo I visited had a very nice city view, although the owner was disappointed by the new construction in Newport of a Target and Kroger complex. Apparently the view was more scenic before the construction began. Anyway, the condos are brick exterior and in a nicely landscaped community. Each unit is 3 stories, I believe. I only saw the kitchen, dining and living area on the main floor of this particular unit, but it was arranged nicely. The units range from 2-4 bedrooms. It's a bit of a drive from Grand Ave. to the condos since you're winding to the top, but worth it.
