Pin I found on my floor
    Jessica G.

Best hotel? No. Worst hotel? No. I give this place a 3 out of 5. The rooms are spacious and there is a nice little kitchenette and living area but it is just not very well taken care of. My shower had some sort of residue on the handle, there was an open safety pin on the floor that I nearly stepped on. I mean, it's not the worst but it needs some attention. In addition, there were sooo many kids in this hotel - what's going on with the kids?! They were in the halls, I could hear them running up and down, some were sitting in the hall outside my door, reading books. I think there were a lot of people living there, maybe a weird timing thing. ‍

I stayed here for a weekend and I really have nothing but nice things to say. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The location was convenient for commute from/to the airport. The computers in the lobby were a bit out of date and slow. Getting into my gmail was a trick. But the free breakfast was good and changed up a little day to day. I would definitely recommend and stay here again myself.

Great place to stay for business. I really enjoyed the size of the room and the L shaped couch. I travel quite a bit so it was nice to be in a newly modeled, spacious, and modern space for a bit. The bed was very comfortable and the space was perfect for a long visit. I don't usually get breakfast or say much after check-in, so I can't comment on those amenities. However staff was very friendly and everyone was very accommodating. The hotel itself is very close to the Needham downtown area and is about 30 minutes from Boston. I liked the location because I enjoy being out of the hustle and bustle, and parking is free. It is next to a smaller outdoor mall area and there is a really great sandwich shop close by (Mighty Subs). There is also a Trader Joe's and grocery area/bagel shop about 10 mins away so there are options. I will defiantly be back!

Everything is clean and updated . Right next to Trip Advisor and Coca-Cola plant .The layout is really comfortable . And everything is new and updated . The parking is covered and right next to the property . The lobby is open and inviting .Everything is nice but they don't serve beer or wine In their mix every other residence inn I have stayed in did) so it was a small let down but they do have a bar and restaurant on property so that kindda makes up for it . ...And the guys at the bar are really good and take very nice care of u and your drink . Second stay : we were greeted by a smiling face ... And she helped us find out if the kitchen was open .They only had few minutes remaining but they took care of us very nicely

Nice new hotel yet it won't be possible for me to stay here again due to the noise level coming from the Coca-Cola distribution plant next door. (Who builds a hotel next to a trucking facility?) As I write this at 6 am EST I've been awake for 3 hours due to noise of truck beeps backing up, trucks being loaded for hours prior to getting on the road- a complete lack of sleep during key hours of the night. I stay at Marriott's constantly, this hotel doesn't work for business travel, will have to choose another hotel next time. The least staff can do is put unsuspecting Marriott Rewards members in odd numbered rooms if possible to avoid the noise.

The room was very spacious (plenty of chairs, even a separate sink at the 'kitchen space' which proved invaluable) and clean. The bathroom was great. (But we do need to talk about the toilet's jet-powered vacuum suction which actually made me jump more than once. That's entirely too much power!) Beds were bigger than a twin, smaller than a queen. (Sheets and pillows were... fine.) Minor bummer: we weren't able to control/adjust the air conditioning. The control panel was disabled and it was always on - which was loud and a bit too chilly. Breakfast buffet - limited but surprisingly excellent. (The first day was in a separate/private room and was the better of the times we went.) Pool - good sized (the sign on the wall mentioned a weirdly specific number of "53" people being allowed to use it at same time which I found amusing) and (kind of) warm and not overly 'chemicaled'. (A few weeks earlier we were at another Marriott Bonvoy property and that pool earned an "F" grade.) Major bummer: a parking lot that you had to pay to use. (There were a handful of free/open spots but you have a better chance of hitting the lottery than snagging one of these.) I mean... we're (paying) guests, the room was not cheap - is it that farfetched to expect a place where we can park and not have to get dinged every time we're leaving the lot to explore Massachusetts? Not sure when we'd be back in this part of the country but we'd definitely come back here, for sure.

The bartender John was super friendly. We seemed to only have one issue and that was constantly trying to give a room of 4, 4 towels at the same time. There is a Starbucks on site but it's open until 11am. Essentially from 11am to 5pm if you want food you're going to have to walk down the hill and get Panera or venture off to Press which is a restaurant with yummy food and a line out the door. Panera did us just fine. The beds here were comfy and the rooms felt not new but not old either. Would definitely stay here again.

Now that I've had more travel experience, I can confidently say this hotel is a hidden gem in Waltham. The apartment-style rooms are fantastic--spacious, clean, and equipped with full kitchens, comfy seating areas, and all the essentials. It's more like staying in a cozy apartment than a standard hotel, which makes solo trips, family visits, or longer stays feel effortless. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is a standout--custom-made eggs cooked to order and expertly crafted coffee that beats any run-of-the-mill hotel fare. The location is great too--close enough to Brandeis University for visiting students, but also easy to explore Waltham's Moody Street for restaurants, cafés, and a little local charm. The area felt safe and walkable, and for outdoor enthusiasts, you can hop on nearby trails along the Charles River or Mass Central Rail Trail for some scenic exercise. Bottom line: Whether you're visiting Waltham for school, family, or just a weekend getaway, Crescent Suites hits all the marks. If I ever find myself back in the area, I won't think twice about staying here again.

But i am sure that this was a truly beautiful facility! The brutalist mid-century architecture was stunning, and I found a few buildings with a similar style across the beautiful campus. Half of the rooms had lake views, and all rooms had views of the beautiful fall foliage. The Club was right on the path through campus and around the lake, which took about an hour to walk [briskly] around. The rooms themselves retained their original mid-century charm, including a brick interior wall, a built-in wood shelving/closet feature, period accurate furniture (I'm a bit of a mid century design snob), and some original 50s/60s style bathroom tile. The room had plenty of space and a comfortable king sized bed, although many of the people I was with mentioned having small, twin sized beds in their rooms. The meeting facilities were also beautiful, with incredible views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There were multiple room options of varying sizes, in addition to numerous service packages, from beer/wine, to buffet, to snacks and drinks. We had several meals in the Club, all of which were excellent. The New England fare included clams, mussels, and clam chowder, which I particularly enjoyed. Even the lunch sandwich buffets were excellent. I found breakfast to be a bit lacking, but I'm not a big hot breakfast person anyways, so just a bagel was sufficient for me. Staff in the Club were beyond friendly and professional. I truly felt like I was staying in a 5* resort due to the staff's hospitality. I can't say anything about value for the cost because I'm not sure how much the space costs to rent or stay overnight, but rest assured you will get a beautiful space with top-notch service when using the facilities at this Club.

First night in Boston we visited the property and the front desk lady denied us because she couldn't find two rooms next to each other so we came back again next morning to talk to the management. The front desk supervisor Ms. Luana Fortes, helped us tremendously and she talked to her manager Korinne Robertson to give us a wonderful rate since we were staying a long period of time and also she managed to give us a free parking during our stay. I am very grateful for Luana's kindness and should mention that if it was not for her profession and motivation on her duties and job we would have taken our business elsewhere. My wife and I traveled all the way from California for our honeymoon and our first World Cup…read moreexperience, and unfortunately our stay at the Hilton Dedham has become one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. When I made my reservation, I specifically booked and paid for a King Bed room because this was our honeymoon. Earlier on the day of arrival, I contacted the hotel through the Hilton app and also called to confirm that we needed the King Bed that we had reserved. Despite those confirmations, when we arrived late at night, just before 11 PM after a long day of travel, we were informed that there were no King Bed rooms available. The explanation given was that the hotel had an unexpected number of guests because of the World Cup. Frankly, I found this difficult to understand. The World Cup is one of the largest sporting events in the world, and Hilton Dedham is one of the closest Hilton properties serving fans attending these events. How was there no planning for such a major event? More importantly, why was the room type that I specifically reserved and confirmed not held for us? Instead of the King Bed room we paid for, we were offered a room with two separate beds on our honeymoon. We explained the situation and how important this was to us, but the front desk staff told us there was no manager available and that our options were either to accept the room, cancel the reservation, or find another hotel. After traveling across the country and arriving late at night, being told to "go somewhere else" was shocking and completely inconsistent with the level of service I expect from Hilton. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, we finally accepted the room because we were exhausted. Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. Once we entered the room and started unpacking, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working properly. After nearly ten hours of travel and dealing with jet lag, the last thing we wanted was another issue. We had to gather our belongings again, return to the front desk, and explain the problem. The staff eventually found another room, but it was on the opposite side of the hotel, requiring us to move all of our luggage once again. By this point, we were physically exhausted, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. What was supposed to be the first night of our honeymoon had turned into a stressful series of problems. The second room had working air conditioning, but the unit was so loud that neither of us could sleep. Every time it ran, it produced excessive noise, making it nearly impossible to rest. We ended up awake until around 3:00 AM. To make matters worse, we also discovered that the sink in the room was cracked, raising even more concerns about the overall condition and maintenance of the property. What makes this even more frustrating is that this happened just last night, and we still have two more nights remaining in our stay. As of the time of writing this review, nobody from hotel management has reached out to us, offered an upgrade, attempted to move us into the King Bed room that we originally reserved, or provided any meaningful resolution. The issue is still ongoing. The most disappointing part of this experience is that none of these issues should have happened. The room type we reserved was not honored despite confirmation. We were initially assigned a room with a malfunctioning air conditioner. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night. The replacement room had a noisy HVAC system and a damaged sink. And throughout all of this, no meaningful solution, accommodation, or compensation has been offered. This trip was supposed to be a special honeymoon memory for my wife and me. Instead, our first night was filled with frustration, exhaustion, and disappointment. We chose Hilton because of its reputation and paid a premium rate expecting quality accommodations and reliable service. Unfortunately, this stay has fallen far below those expectations. I hope Hilton management reviews this experience seriously and contacts us as soon as possible while we are still guests at the property. At a minimum, I believe some form of compensation or reimbursement is warranted given the number of service failures we have experienced. Most importantly, I hope future guests do not have to go through what we did on what should have been one of the happiest occasions of our lives. Management may contact me directly for additional details regarding this stay: Email: mohammadalbdrany@gmail.com

The biggest discontent came learning upon check-in that there is a parking charge. I don't recall seeing that on the website or in the correspondence sent to me, but I am not saying it wasn't there, somewhere, at some type size. I didn't think a hotel this distance from central Boston would charge for parking. That added $20 plus tax each night to the bill. There are no microwaves in the rooms. That is something that chains of lower status that Marriott make standard (IHG, BW). There was a microwave for public use--that's right--*1* for a hotel this size (BIG). At least there was only 1 I was aware of, there may have been 1 or more others somewhere else, but they were scarce if there were any beyond that 1. I will say I didn't need to wait any time I used it; I just had to go up and down the elevator 3 flights. I used it 3 times I tried to use the computers in the business office and neither of the 2 they had worked. Someone told me they had been that way for at least 3 hours, since he had first tried to use them. I told various staff about it but the best I got for a response was that was something that "happened sometimes". Someone there might want to check to see if the problems have yet been resolved. This hotel is more economical than staying at a similar hotel downtown, and there is a nearby commuter train station (non-accessible). Getting hotels near these stations can be good money savers for big city visits, but there tend to not be many too close to the stations. The location on the Charles River is superlative, and a lot of the hotel property can be strolled along the shore. There is an adjacent historic park that is directly connected to the hotel that is also along the river. You get great river views from the restaurant too.
