I want to leave a special shout out for James, the project supervisor. He has done an amazing job…read moretaking care of us and making sure everything is done well. They do high quality work for a very reasonable price. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating is because the salesman significantly underestimated the length and the scope of work, so it took a lot longer than we were told, but they didn't charge us for the extra work they had to do. Also they paid for the damage to the fence and for tire replacement due to debris. Excellent communication through James, very polite, responsive, and goes an extra mile to make sure everything is done right. It was a very big and complex project because of the multiple steep pitch roof areas, replacing gutters, encasing chimney with stone. They did quality work.

Would definitely use Johnson Restoration again and have recommended them to others for their multiple facets of work available. FIVE STARS ALL DAY LONG!!!!!

Pro-Safe Insulation arrived on time. Men went to work right away. All was going well until...the…read morestepped on my ceiling drywall. I immediately asked the worker what happened. He m,emetic nail pop and nothing else. I waited, and did not accept the non-response well. I called the company and expressed my concern that the worker seemed non-chaalant about what happened, and wondered if Pro-Safe would take care of it. Immediately I heard, the contract states we are not responsible for 'mail pops and other consequential" damages. I asked to hear from the owner. Jeff called and immediately went on offense about how dare I insinuate his company was not reputable and so on...although I dont believe I insisted such. Again he mentioned that Pro-Safe was not responsible for nail pops...that stuff happens. Mind your, at this point, no one looked at the ceiling from the inside. He simply defended that his guys stepped on a beam causing a nail pop. Hang in there...photos to follow. Finally, one of his guys looked at the damage and agreed...a bit more than a nail pop. He proceeded to tell me that something gave way in the attic, a guy lost his balance and stepped on the ceiling. He caught himself but the weight bowed and cracked the ceiling. Accidents happen. Jeff and I talked again, both a bit calmer. He agreed to send a guy out to repair the ceiling and agreed to take the bill. The drywall person Jeff sent was excellent. However, there is only so much one can do on a ceiling repair without painting the entire ceiling. So, while the damage is gone, the mismatch remains. Lessons here for me: Stay calm, even when the owner is not. Convince them to assess before citing contract language. For the owner: Get facts first...all the facts. Before you cite a routine nail pop, someone should assess. Expect owners to get excited when one of your guys nearly comes through the ceiling. Bottom line: Workers were efficient, got the job done in a few hours. Not sure if I'll see an ROI but that is what happens with insulation...you hope for improved comfort. All in all, would have been much better without the damage.

A+ Home Remodeling Experience After scanning the internet…read morefor a company in the Dayton area for roofs, siding, soffits and some other outside updates, we were led to Dayton Roof and Remodeling. Chuck, along with his son, was quick to respond, listen to our needs, give us estimates, and remain in constant communication with us. Pictures were taken to show us what needed our attention and a scheduling of services began. We did not know that our chimney needed repair. One of his crew came prior to any roofing being installed to restore our chimney. We appreciated the detailed pictures that were shown to us before of the damaged areas and after to show us the work completed. His company/crews proceeded to install new wood where there was weather damage, put up weather barriers on everything, completed our roof, installed new siding over the original wood siding on our house/workshop. New porch posts were designed and detailed trim work completed. Each day the debris and trash were cleaned up and hauled away. They made sure everything was left neat and tidy. The job is done and everything looks beautiful! We are so thankful to have found a company that had constant communication with us allowing us the time to choose the proper colors with the corresponding accessories. They were priced reasonably and very reliable. My husband and I would highly recommend them for any of your household needs. Thank you for a job well done!

The workers and home office have impressed me greatly. All are professional and want the end…read moreresult to be excellent. Communication with me was great throughout my project which included a large number of pavers and a large stamped-concrete driveway. Soon after the work was completed I had concerns as there were some areas of polysand failure, and I observed white areas on the driveway that had been tinted and sealed. But the company offered to come back in a few months to fill any areas needing polysand, and they offered to add more tinting to the driveway if necessary and to re-seal the driveway. This will satisfy all of my initial concerns. I'm very impressed with their willingness to make their customers overjoyed at the outcome. There were 2 teams performing this large project. The first team did the paver repairs. The before-after pictures I include show the uneven pavers are now perfectly flat (and clean). The work for the 2nd team was faster than what the manufacturers recommend on their websites. However the company has been in business for many years and they assured me that they have successfully done this work in even hotter temperatures in Florida, and they always apply sealer to pavers right after applying the polysand. They used Accel polysand for the pavers. I especially respect and am grateful for this 2nd team, Jake and AJ, who worked through 90+ degree heat and very high humidity. Although my property has many trees, it was still potentially dangerous and definitely uncomfortable.

After it was done, there were all kinds of problems. We appreciated the fact that two experienced guys came out quickly to assess and try to correct the sealing. What we did not appreciate is that they told us the other guys were new at this. Was an $8,000 project not enough for the A-team? The guys who came out to fix it, tried another coat of sealer. Also didn't work. They called a guy in Florida who "knew everything about sealers". They tried another product and it seemed to work. However, some of the sloppy work from the first sealing still shows. Every time I'm out there, I see the lines on the pavers from the first attempt. We thought we had done our research in good companies. It apparently wasn't enough.
