We had a fantastic experience with Nick Alley from Dry Effect. He came in, gave a very thorough investigation, taught us a bunch about what to look for and how to prevent future issues. He gave us great options for both professional and home remediation approaches, and the pros and cons of each. Nick went way above and beyond helping diagnose one of the problems we found that looked like a water/mold issue, but that was actually unrelated. Something that they wouldn't make a penny on from fixing. We have since chased it down, and he was spot on with his diagnosis. It felt like a real partnership with a company I could trust. I am sorry if you need them, and I hope I never need them again. But if I do, I won't hesitate for a *second* to call them back in.

Thankfully, the situation was addressed right away and Peak did a thorough job! They kept to the written quote and were not pushy about doing more work. They were consistent with their explanation of what needed to be done and did exactly what they said they would do, we didn't need to remind them or ask for anything. We looked into what it would've cost to rent the HEPA filter and dehumidifier that they used in our home and knowing the cost of that alone along with the work they did, I think their pricing is very reasonable. If we ever have another moisture issue, we will be calling Peak Environmental!

The initial interaction with one of the owners was positive; however, the service appointment itself was poorly handled. The estimated time of arrival on our date of service was not honored, and our attempts to contact the company were unsuccessful. The owner's explanation for forgetting the appointment was a personal issue. Despite our understanding of unforeseen circumstances and willingness to give the company another chance, our efforts to reschedule were ignored, and we were blocked from further communication. This lack of accountability and customer service is concerning. PEAK Environmental prides themselves on loyalty, communication and good work ethic....all of which were lacking from our experience with them.
