We were initially reluctant to hire a company to do "lighting" for our reception because we weren't sure if it would add anything to the room. My mom kept pushing, so we finally reached out to Amp'd. Amp'd was very professional and very reasonably priced. They gave us tons of options for lighting and accommodated every single one of our requests. The room was done up beautifully with soft blue and purple hues that added so much elegance to the evening. My husband and I both agree this was the best money spent. Also, for a European cafe/bistro flair, Amp'd strung lights between the balconies of the Marie Antoinette room, so it was as if we were dancing under the stars or cafe lights, etc. The pictures from the reception are absolutely gorgeous, and I thank Amp'd for all their great work! I cannot recommend enough. Also, they consistently worked within our budget, which was a huge plus. We had originally spoken with another lighting business, who, when we asked for price ranges, said "If your dad is Donald Trump, I can make it as expensive as you want." The store is clean, well lit, and organized so it's easy to find what you need. They are able to special order whatever you need as I found out. First, Greg seems like a nice guy but he did absolutely nothing when he came. I didn't know what he was going to do or when. If you don't want to do the work or don't have the time you just say that and don't waste other people's time. After a few days I received something from the office saying something about an estimate. What estimate? Next, if I have to call and complain that nothing is done then there is a problem. After a week I called and complained again, and later that day finally received an estimate. I can prove this because I have emails from when I called the first time and when I received the estimate. The problem is your company not me. So replying to my review and making it look like I am the problem just proves I am right.
