Cars are available here for supposedly cheaper than their market value, because these are ones that got reposessed, and I'm guessing these people sell it on behalf of the creditor. I saw not just cars, but boats and RVs. They're all parked stacked, so you can't take the car you want for a test drive. You have until the end of next business day after you buy it, to try it out and return it for a refund. I think the restocking fee was $300. The inside, where you sign papers, has cool seats: two made of front of cars (bumpers, grill, headlights), and one made of a Harley-type bike. You can pay a deposit by credit card, then negotiate financing, or pay by bank draft. They don't accept business cheques. The people were fine, but the friendliest customer service was from the mobile Autoplan guy (from AllWest Insurance). read more

Took car for test drive had really bad pulsating brakes. Inspection form had no mention of braking fault or comment. As well form doesn't have % of brakes just check mark ok, or not... Asked sales man about why it had a brake fault and nothing was marked on the form. Which is where I was told it was only a visual inspection. which is why the brakes didn't have a % left. Pretty sketchy and ICBC search showed the car was purchased from the autoauction. So basically all these guys do is buy cheap cars from the auction. Then polish them up and put them on the lot. As it was obvious they polished the car, cleaned the interior and painted the feeder wells and brake parts. As well sprayed engine bay polish under the hood. They will not negotiate on the price or repair defects or reduce price for repairs needed. So buyer beware read more

I have noticed that this business is not always accurate with their ads with regards to the repossessed items that they sell. I have emailed them several times and they do not correct the ads. As this company is contracted to the government of British Columbia, they should correct misleading ads and show some integrity. I wonder what else they are not accurate about! Called to ask for a carfax or carproof on a couple of cars that seemed very good prices. Was about to head out there which is an hour away and thought I would ask what showed in the reports on these cats.. Called and they said that the less expensive car (2013) had been in an accident, but the more expensive (2014), was clean, no accidents or anything. When I checked on carfax; one was a rebuild, other was a salvage. Neither seemed to actually have been repo'd . (I assume that would show up). Luckily I did not waste driving a couple of hours in the rain, but I did waste $50 on the report. Not all repo places are like this one, I bought a vehicle off off one in 2000 and I still have that vehicle. (2014 now) read more

Key point: They are a dishonest, predatory organization. Was shopping for a particular model, they listed lower than a dealership. They claim to tell you upfront what's wrong with the car. They did about minor things: dings, scratches, tires. Kept quiet about some major stuff in my case. "Strawberry milkshake" a month into my ownership of the vehicle - $5,000 to repair. The key started the engine, but did not open the doors - $500 to fix. Their extended warranty is a whole story. Called to cancel, they said cool. Got a check in the mail for 90% of the fee. Called to ask why. "There's always a fee". Not according to any documents I've signed. Made fun of me on the phone, but mailed me a cheque for the rest. They prey on the more naive buyers looking to deal without negotiation. Do yourself a favour and deal with literally anybody else. read more

I have been looking at used vehicles on autotrader.ca and noticed these guys don't put mileage, nor do they like to tell you beforehand. They want you to drive all the way there. Photos showed vehicles with obvious water/submersion damage and when told that, they removed interior and engine photos. This is the place they made cheesy movies about and when you cringe at the words "car salesman" - this is where the scummy ones go to. They're obnoxious, rude and not everything is a repo - most is garbage bought from auctions for cheap because dealerships couldn't sell them or refused to take them as trades or they came from push pull drag sales. I recognized 3 of those. Buyer beware. Unless you're a mechanic with full diagnostic setup, spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

bought a 2011 dodge 3500 less than a year ago for $27000. They gave the truck all "good" comments on all aspects of the truck except the body "needs attention" when I brought it home my mechanic said it needed a muffler/tailpipe $1500, needed brakes soon, about $2000, needed ball joints $1500. I replaced the muffler and held off on the rest for the time being and went on a family trip where we had overheating issues? About 5 months later the transmission went and the "extra" ins. I bought for $700 at Repo told me they don't cover wear and tear so, $6000 for a rebuilt tranny. The ins. comp. also told me I needed to do oil changes every 4 months or 5000kms? On a diesel? Repo didn't tell me that when I bought the extra ins. Drove the truck for another two months and was overheating again so, replaced thermostat $100 then water pump went $150. Still had overheating issues and coolant problems and found out the head gasket is blown which could be $3000 plus depending on what other issues they find like head bolts $800, injector issues $?? and the possibility of a burned out cylinder which means an engine rebuild $8000 plus. So, I will have A truck with about $47000 that is worth $25000. read more
