He arrived during the prearranged window of time and started investigating the problem. I had them out going on two weeks ago with a refrigerator repair , they ordered a fan which was a surprise due the fact every other company I had spoken with said they didn't make parts for our refrigerator anymore. I was little skeptical about it but he said he could get one so we went with it. David came out on Wednesday and installed the fan , since installation the refrigerator hasn't cooled below 60 degrees. David showed up 2 days later , opened the fridge closed the door and handed me a portion of my money back and said sorry there's nothing I can do , didn't look to see if the fan he installed was even working, I've since asked where he purchased the fan to see if maybe they had another or to see if it's even the right fan. I've called them multiple times , left voicemails , text messages and little to no response.

Since the installed replacement cost have more than doubled for just a single stage 15 seer system…read moreand 3-4 times higher for an 18+ seer variable speed condenser and air handler system, I began researching different systems and vendors. During this time, I learned that not everyone likes a do-it-yourself like me. Some even said I wanted, "free work." Not true! However, the current installed prices spoke to me. I grabbed my tools! Pulling a local permit as a home owner/builder in Florida, I installed a 2 ton (24k) ACIQ-24-HP32 condenser and ACIQ-24-AH32 air handler, and related mechanical. This system replaced a 26 year old 1.5 ton (18K) Trane XE-1000 condenser and TWGO18A air handler that was showing its age -- like me. One of my main hardware vendors, HVAC direct, patiently worked with me as I learned the new system requirements. With help from Isaiah Luke Appliance Repair to do the final commissioning of the system, the new ACIQ inverter system passed local inspection! The new system is a noticeably quieter and produces considerable heat split by comparison with the previous system. The fact that the ACIQ has a higher BTU rating, (24K) a higher seer rating (18), and yet uses smaller breakers, 30A down to 25A on the outside unit and 30 down to 15 amps for the inside unit and doesn't dim my lights when it runs, says it all. Thanks again to: Isaiah Luke Appliance Repairs!

I looked around on Yelp for a good appliance repair company, and was happy to discover a place with so many 5-star reviews. I'm happy to add another 5-star review to their page! I scheduled a diagnostic appointment online, and Evan called me promptly to confirm my appointment. He was very kind, courteous and open throughout the entire process. During the diagnostic appointment, Evan explained the different options that I had for repairing the fridge, since a couple of parts would need to be ordered before the followup repair appointment. He also let me know that if I could defrost my freezer fully by the time of the followup, that I'd save a bit of money on the repair. At the end of it all, I was pleasantly surprised by the final bill. There was no additional charge for the followup appointment (aside from parts). A month later, my fridge is working perfectly!

And, of course, it occurred on a Sunday afternoon. Knowing that the company handling my warranty would not be available for at least a few days, I searched out to companies that were available 24/7. Orlando Appliance Repair was one of those companies. Upon calling, the customer service rep put me in touch with their field-rep, Igor. I described the problem and he planned to show withing two hours or less ... on a Sunday afternoon! My refrigerator came back online and I contacted Igor to make him aware and cancel my appointment. He understood and just simply cancelled my appointment without fuss or cost. If a company can be this prompt and respective to new clients calling on a Sunday afternoon that they would end up not be getting business from that day, I can only believe that their actual work would be first-rate and I would not hesitate to connect with Orlando Appliance Repair for any related needs in the future.
